This school has gone downhill fast. Look elsewhere. Don't believe all the fake positive reviews. They bribe parents for positive reviews.

I couldn't be more grateful for the incredible care and attention my son receives at The Little Village School. From day one, it's been clear that the staff genuinely cares about his well-being and development. The teachers are nurturing, patient, and incredibly skilled at creating a warm and welcoming environment that makes my son excited to go to school each day.
The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to foster his curiosity, creativity, and social skills, and I can see the positive impact it's having on him. He’s learned so much already. I also love the emphasis they place on emotional development, ensuring every child feels valued and understood.
What really sets this preschool apart, though, is the strong sense of community. It feels like more than just a school – it’s a place where families come together and children thrive. I’m always kept in the loop with updates on his progress, and I feel confident knowing he’s in such caring, capable hands.
I highly recommend The Little Village School to any parent looking for a place where their child will not only be safe and happy but also grow and develop in a positive, nurturing environment.

We have been incredibly happy with the care our son has received at The Little Village School. He started here at just four months old, and we were a bit nervous about how he would adjust. However, the staff immediately put our minds at ease. The teachers (Ms. Talena, Ms. Christine, and Ms. Liliana) are not only nurturing but also very attentive to the individual needs of each child. They’ve created such a warm and loving environment that my son looks forward to going every day.
One of the things that really stands out to us is the cleanliness of the facility. From the moment we walk in, everything looks spotless and well-maintained. In the months that our son has been here, he has not gotten sick from school, which speaks volumes about the hygiene standards they uphold.
We are so grateful for the wonderful teachers and staff who truly care about our son’s development and well-being. I highly recommend The Little Village School to any parent looking for a safe, clean, and loving environment for their child.

We have been with TLVS for the second year and aren’t ready to exchange it for any other. Excellent material resources, great teachers and management that quickly responds to any requests from parents. We are glad that we entrusted our child to this school.

Great school in the area. My daughter was at TLVS for 4 years. We transfered to another school last year but came back for summer camp, winter camp, spring break. She always has a great time and loves her teachers as well as the front desk staff.

I would definitely give a negative star to this school. The most ill-managed school in town, Front Desk doesn't know what they talk about and no manners towards the parents or even to the little kids. Admin staff is horrible and ruthlessly rude. This school has gone down hill very fast. Having a great looking facility wouldn't contribute anything towards kids well-being and nurturing. Stay away from this school if you would need your child to be happy and progress as they are growing up.

Ever since I enrolled my child (Oct 2022) I've had issues with the school being transparent. I have asked the director, assistant director, operations manager, front desk staff, and teachers to be transparent with me regardless if it's positive or negative. My child was 18 months when I enrolled her and My child loved going to school. Unfortunately that only lasted 2 months and the lead teacher had to leave due to personal reasons and was not planning on returning. The school was already training a new teacher to be lead but did not inform any of the parents about it. When I asked when the former teacher would return they told me she would be back in a couple of weeks even when they knew she was not returning. the teacher told me herself she was not coming back and she said the owner knew about it, but lied regardless.Once the new lead teacher started, she was taking many days off because of personal reasons. She later informed me she was not working physically at the school and was helping remotely. The school never informed me of this.In fact my child started behaving out of character. she said she did not want to go to school and would cry at the hand off in the front. When I inquired about this, They made me believe it was my child's fault when in reality they knew the issues they were having. When I had my parent teacher conference with the new lead, she disclosed many many things to me. She mentioned that she has been out of the classroom for sometime and that my child was not the only one crying during hand off. She mentioned that many parents complained about kids coming home with diaper rashes and not being fed properly. She told me it was so bad that she was going to call licensing herself. She Also gave me recommendations to another school because she told me I should take my child out. They were combining two classrooms together of children from 18-24+ months because they were understaffed. My child was sent home with a dirty diaper multiple times. When I asked for before and after pictures of my child's lunch I was told by the owner and director that I should just assume that she doesn't eat in school. I told her this is not helpful especially when my child is in the 6% in her weight. They said they provide chef prepared meals but I have shared pictures of the food that's provided. Their grilled cheese is just two pieces of cold bread with cold cheese, their fruit is canned and served multiple days in a row along with the canned green beans. Their chicken nuggets are frozen. I've even been told by an ex employee that they freeze the fruit and if they don't have enough time to thaw it out then the kids are eating frozen fruits. I was told by a different ex employee that they recycle the food too.I expressed the concern of not being able to speak to my childs teacher on a daily basis to get updates and that it's concerning how secretive they are about things. The teachers actually seem scared to tell parents anything.Yes they once had an amazing reputation which is why I chose TLVS, but that has all gone down hill once they moved locations. I know of many parents who have taken their children out of the school. They claim that all teachers are certified but not all of them are Montessori certified. They also have violations on the Texas Department of health and safety. Check them out.Today when I was dropping her off to class I saw one of her teachers being rough with a child and that child was crying. This is not the Montessori way of dealing with an upset child. You don't just squeeze their hand tightly and pull them across the room to sit by themselves. I could tell the teacher was overwhelmed and the teacher did not have an adequate assistant teacher in there to help. The person who was in there was a front desk employee who was in there just to have a body in there for ratio reasons but was not actually helping. So glad I'm sending her to another school and she is finally happy again!

Enrolling our daughter in The Little Village School was one of the best decisions we made for her. It’s obvious that the teachers are passionate about their work. We’ve seen our daughter absolutely thrive and grow at school. We ended up moving somewhere else and I constantly joked with TLVS that they need to move with me!They give live updates and photos through their app, which I’ve learned is not the norm across Montessoris/Day Cares. They encourage lots of independent play as well. And they are willing to work with you and your baby especially if you have specific requests or questions. It’s hard as a first time mom to know what to do and to leave your baby while you work. But I couldn’t have asked for a better partnership with TLVS, where it was clear we all had my baby’s best interest at heart. We LOVE this school and the people in it!
