  • "This place is awesome! The food is great, the ambiance is great, the service is great! This is my favorite place for Tex-Mex food. There is a bar, there is a happy hour, the service is fast. Daniela our server was awesome! My chips basket was never empty, my drink re-fills were on point, she was very polite and always smiling. I will definitely recommend this place."
  • "Planned a dinner party for 50 people long distance, never having laid eyes on this restaurant. Christopher Gutierrez was an outstanding coordinator and helped with all the details, including sending me photos of the room, assisted the photographer and more. The festive party was perfect in all ways.Christopher took great care of us, the food was fantastic and service top notch. Thank you, Chuy's Hwy 151 !!!!"
  • "Good quality Tex Mex at about what you would expect to pay. I have the steak burrito and was pleasantly full when we left. Seating for larger groups appears to be a bit of a challenge (8 or more) but they made it work. Service was not overly friendly but efficient and not bad by any means. "
  • "Our server, McKenna, was amazing! Just the right amount of waiting and checking on us. The taco soup was delicious. The atmosphere was good for visiting - there were 12 of us!"
  • "Great food and delicious chips! The bartenders are always friendly. I would have given it 5 stars but I never see happy hour specials here..our even reverse happy hour. Maybe I'm just unaware of they do. Either way, try this place, you'll love it! "

  • "Long wait to get seated, but the food is fabulous! I got the veggie enchiladas. I didn't know if there would be much more than cheese inside. There were plenty of actual veggies and flavor inside. I would highly recommend if you have time to wait."
  • "My favorite place to go for happy hour any day of the week! The free nacho bar between 4 and 7 is a must if you love their thin and salty chips with pick-like salsa. Mexican martinis are also amazing. The enchiladas aren't quite as good as most places but everything else on the menu is worth it!"
  • "Busy Friday dinner time. The food was good and atmosphere was lively. Our waiter was very nice and on spot with our needs. A bit of a wait for desserts. This was our first time here. We will be back."
  • "Love Chuy's! They never seem to fail! Food was amazing! And service was the best! Shoutout to Samantha for the excellent service!"
  • "Great food... Great staff.. Great atmosphere. We love Chuy's.. Especially the 281 Store. "

  • "I've worked for Chuy's in Austin for over 5 years, and we have certain "bullet points" to hit so to speak. One of them being greet your table within 30 or 60 seconds. My girlfriend and I came to this location after leaving six flags, and our server Joel took about 3 min to greet us, but took closer to 10 min to greet the table 3 booths behind us (maybe 7 min), which for anyone who's been in the service industry, especially someone who has worked for Chuy's, you have to know how cringeworthy that made me feel. Joel was very nice, he just could not consolidate to save his life. I'm sure he would be a fine server if he would change that one, very BIG, thing. Well, consolidate and greet tables in a timely manner. I also noticed he had a silver fish button, which means he's worked for the company for over 3 years.... I realize I'm going on very long at this point, but I would like to give him some constructive feedback: don't greet one table, get drink orders from them, then go back to the server station to get said drinks then bring them back to that first table, then greet the next table, get drink orders there, go get the drinks, bring them to second table, then go greet the third table.... just greet all three tables, get all of the drink orders, put them all on your tray, bring them all out, go back to table one, take food order, second table, take food order, third table, take food order, put all food orders into computer, go back check for refills on chips, drinks, etc.... looked like it was only a three table section :/ maybe he had tables in other side of restaurant but even so, you must consolidate...."
  • "While visiting San Antonio, I was on the lookout for a good Tex-Mex food, thanks God I was taken to this restaurant. I was very satisfied with their food. The tortilla chips were very good and not to mention their food. It was over the top, everything was mouthwatering. Highly recommended restaurant. Good prices and good customer service."
  • "I forgot to post a review! My sister reminded me when I was telling her about the awesome experience. It was my first time being there. The manager over heard it was and came over to introduce herself, then came back with some sample sauces and told us about the different types that they serve. I love that we got to sample each one. Helped me explore different tastes. I'd recommend this place to anyone. I want to bring my mom here. I know she'd love it too :)."
  • "Visit 2: reduced from 3 stars to 2 stars. Food quality and quantity both remain pleasant. The service was worse than the first visit. The plates and bowls were not cleared throughout the duration of the meal. I finished my water early in the meal and did not see the waitress again until I was done eating to even ask for a refill. The food was very good, it came in large quantities, and the prices were cheap. The server was pleasant but not particularly good. I wasn't given a refill of water despite being out for nearly 10 minutes, and she didn't check in the entire time."
  • "Great service. Clean bathroom. Good food. Chuy's is unique in their set up and the chips. You go ask and receive. It is an excellent place."
