  • "Great food, OUTSTANDING service, cozy table by the fire. Best dining experience in quite some time. "
  • "Neat little place to experience French Country cooking. Food was really good and staff was very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be back"
  • "Good food and great atmosphere. My only issue was that I bought a glass of sweet tea and there wasn't sweet tea but mango tea; that isn't what I paid for. Regardless, a nice place to eat. "
  • "The pastry was excellent. The restaurant was comfortable and quiet, perfect for discussion with friends. The French lessons in the bathroom (audio, as well as painted on the tiles) was cute and informative. "
  • "Food is amazing, staff is so friendly, and the atmosphere is spotless and clean. Shame there is no 6 stars!"

  • "French cuisine right around the corner, well at least for me it is. I still keep going to try out the different options. The ambiance is quaint and quiet. The fireplace adds a touch of rural cottage style warmth. I prefer the French dip the classic pair. I'd recommend it highly to someone in the mood for a touch if something different."
  • "The past few times I have been here, there has been something wrong with my meal. Today, the pesto pasta salad had no trace of pesto, the Caesar salad wasn't dressed with Cesar dressing, the spinach salad had an excess of balsamic vinaigrette and there wasn't any ice when we initially went to get our drinks - we were told that the restaurant was out of ice. La Madeliene has really gone downhill over the past few years..."
  • "Horrible. Party of 15. I watched 14 people completely get served and finish their meal while I waited for mine. An hour went by and they brought it out well after everyone was done eating. Then I ate by myself while everyone talked. And it was way over baked. Won't be coming back."
  • "The setting is inconvenient. You order while in line, then they take your order to the table. I was looking for cafe au lait, but they dont have it. Their pastry is good but have little variety. It is moderately priced for breakfast, and the food quite frankly is not so good. I ordered a crepe and received something more in the lines of scrambled eggs. My order was replaced, but what they brought was equally unpalatable. They also took a very long time when there were very few customers. I did not appreciate the service, given that I was blatantly ignored several times. This place truly deserves my rating: two stars."
  • "I like the food however this is probably worst la Madeline we have ever been to. The employees have no clue and are lazy. The food was not what we paid for as of quailty and how the hell do you run out of so many menu items at 930am on a saturday? Sounds to me someone does not know how to order correctly for the store. And when we went to get our drinks the soda was flat with no carbonation. We complained but the person just looked at us like we were stupid. Really take some initiative people. One of the employees just cut off this young man with a tray full of food and looked at him LIKE it was his fault that he was walking thru the door first. That was very rude!! Will be last time we come to this location. At least at the huebner location they are nice and treat everyone with respect. We always go to that location but today we had to go to a store by the 410 location, that was a mistake. And we have been waiting now for over 15 minutes for 2 egg dishes. Really and your not even busy. I seriously do not write many reviews but today I had to."

  • "I love La Madeleine! It's always great. The potatoe soup I had today was better than my grandmother used to make. I'll be back for more."
  • "The chicken salade on a croissant was very tasty, as was the vegetable soup. The fruit salad was served chilled, and it was fresh. The service was very good. The only thing keeping it from getting 5 stars, the tables were wobbly. When we'd rest our hands on the table, one side would come up slightly. A minor drawback, overall."
  • "I absolutely love it here! Best tomato basil soup I have ever had! And their creme brulee is delicious."
  • "Just dropped in for a dessert and coffee. Coconut cream cake was very tasty and coffee excellent. Never had a bad cup at ala Mad....Nice relaxed atmosphere."
  • "Food is great atmosphere is too. Service is always good but parking always sucks"

  • "Mmm! My sister and I are out and about. Lunch called for a good sit and good food. The tomato basil soup was wonderful, but my favorite part was adding from the bread bar! Salad was good but again the bread made it great! We had small sandwiches too, but did I mention the bread had butter and jelly too. No room for desert but we'll be back!"
  • "Update 04/2017 - Dirty, really, dirty, and smells like the whole place needs cleaning. The espresso machine is down, the staff are nowhere to be found and the food doesn't look very appetizing. It's about a year since I last came here and it seems to have taken a turn for the worse. --- Enthusiastic service and a rustic-in-a-chain-restaurant environment can't compensate for the fact that it's not particularly French. The chocolate eclair substituted chocolate sauce for cream and was way, way too sweet. The coffee was nothing special either. Overall it's not a bad cafe but doesn't really live up to how awesome it could be - if you've ever been to a classic French cafe, you'll know there's a missed opportunity here."
  • "I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! THE DECOR IS AMAZING, SPECIALLY AT NIGHT HAVING A LATTE BY THE CHIMNEY.... THE FOOD, THE STAFF AND PRICES ARE GREAT!!!!"
  • "Delicious food, great atmosphere. Extremely busy during the normal meal rushes. Difficult to hear those at your table during that time due to high, angled ceilings."
  • "Love the salads, soups, desserts, customer service, and cozy atmosphere. Really good place to eat before or after seeing a movie close by. My only suggestion is that the ladies bathroom could be cleaner. Thanks."
