I just had an absolutely terrible experience in their parts department. I was looking for a specific part that they didn't have anywhere except for at this location. I drove from New Braunfels to this location because they had the part here. When I get here they wanted to charge me 50% more for the part than they were going to charge me at Bluebonnet Ford in New braunfels. So I called Bluebonnet in New Braunfels and asked them to call this place and ask them to honor the price. So Bluebonnet called and I could hear the guy on the phone being rude to Bluebonnet. And then he told me that he's not going to honor the price that Bluebonnet gave me and I could pay what they want to charge for it. So I left and I will never go back to this place again.

I am loving my 2023 Maverick!!! Our overall buying experience with Southway Ford was exceptional. The process was pleasant, quick and easy; Our salesman, Amado Carrasco, and our finance officer, Esteban, did all the work for us. They secured the financing at the lowest possible rate for me thus saving me the hassle of doing it myself. I signed the contract while my vehicle was being made ready and I drove my new vehicle off the lot in a short period of time. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ve purchased many vehicles from Southway in the past and, God willing, we will continue to buy more in the future.

Very bad experience with this dealership, joe Gonzalez was our sale person and was never around , I texted him to ask the price of a truck and told me a sales price. I confirmed sales price 5 times and was t to see 3 hours till they said they made a mistake and was gonna be 6,000 more than we had agreed. The customer service was very poor and they said if I didn’t want to buy to go somewhere else . Being a person with good credit and a good down payment I would have expected different. I don’t recommend this place to anyone who is in the right mind to get a car or truck . Worse t experience ever and I’ve had multiple vehicles . BE AWARE!!! Zero stars - rating in the whole team had to put one star to post but in reality no stars — stars

Highly recommend! My car’s battery died, and their high reviews lured me in. Went for a battery replacement. Not only did they replace my battery, they also found what was draining it and fixed it! The issue was a mod I had (poorly ?) installed myself and that they offered to fix. The awesome people that helped me were Albert G. and Eric. Will be coming back, cannot recommend their service enough!

They said they didn't have the correct part. Didn't know they glued the temporary one onto the windshield! Brand new bronco windshield recall. Love it! Temporary Rear view mirror that is constantly bouncing around like I got 4 12s full power in the back that has been glued onto the windshield by the service department :)

My family and I have bought 5 cars now from this place and our sales person Jose is absolutely amazing, so helpful and just all around great which is why we go back. However the service department, specifically the quick lane, is absolutely horrible to work with, EVERY SINGLE TIME I have to take my car there it is always a problem always an issue my car will now be there right now for two days over a TIRE. Completely ridiculous, my boyfriend was told to sit down and "drop his attitude or you will wait longer" after being there all day waiting on a TIRE. Absolutely absurd, all we get are excuses and reasons as to why it can not be done when I have a tire warranty through them that we got upon purchasing the vehicle. I love the buying process with them, no complaints on that but DO NOT AT ALL recommend servicing your vehicle here.

My car was the worst financial decision and in large part because I purchased it here. I was young and d*** and they took full advantage of it. They do not care about the customer, they care about money. They took my trade in for less than 2k when it was worth thousands more to begin with. Lesson learned. Fast forward I took my car in for a repair covered under the power train warranty. Mind you this car is 2018, there's no reason it should be leaking oil TWICE after the same job had been completed by them. That had been done by them two years prior. That took a month. This time they took my car for a week and refused any rental rebate or loaner. When I picked up my car I noticed the left side was scratched up. I have had only bad experiences here, save yourself the trouble and buy and get your car serviced somewhere else.

First negative experience with this Ford location was taking my truck for a routine oil change at the quick lane and asked if I can get the rear wipe blade replaced and fixed because it was not properly wiping on the window. It was staying at the bottom of the window on the non glass part. I showed them prior to replacing and working on it how it was performing. After the vehicle being done I checked the wiper and my windshield fluid was not coming out anymore. So I tried it a couple of times because I was told fluids were topped. Suddenly I notice my internal light above my trunk started flickering then started leaking water. When taking it back I spoke to the gentlemen who was assisting me at the counter and was told there wasn't much they can do because that wasn't there doing. But when I left it and showing the fluid was coming out from where it needed to be everything was fixed and now this new problem arises and was stuck paying for them to fix the water leakage when it definitely wasn't my doing.Next situation: I came back to the location in hopes that last situation, even though I was not content with the outcome, that it could have just been a mistake and was willing to give it another chance. This time I called and was told 1 hour and half to 2 hour wait for oil change, no biggie. Show up at about 1:05 and ask wait time and was told the same thing. 1 hour and half to 2 hour later I am called up and I thought it was to tell me my vehicle was done but they had a few suggestions. Agreed to those suggestions, and was told another 30-45 minutes. Finally I at around 5 I get called that my vehicle is done. Get my keys and head out to find out my key is not working in my truck. We had about 4 different individuals out there and said my key was the problem and my truck was not reading it anymore if I had a spare and I did. Again this key was working previous to me coming in and they were able to test drive and everything but now when given back it is not working anymore. I asked what was going to happen to that key now, they said it would be $260+ tax to get a new key and reprogrammed. I was so mind blown gentleman told me he would talk to his boss and see if there was anything they can do because it was left working in there hands. Got my phone number and to expect a call. I was told to have someone bring it and check it that way. I get one of my family members to bring a key. So not only getting a family member to going out of their way to bring it now I am stuck with 1 key that works, one that is useless, and no phone call back from the manager.

While I read great reviews about the sales, my complaints are with the service Dept. I originally took my vehicle in on July 12th, 2022 and was advised by the advisor, Alex, that it could take a few weeks to look at, but they would get back with me as soon as possible. I patiently waited for over two weeks, but after the third week, I called and left several voice mails, but no returned call. On August 13th I drove to the dealership and when I asked about my repair status, the tech said he thought my car had been returned and that was the reason why he didn’t follow up with me, he went to the back and apologized and said he would have some status update in a few hours, to which he finally called back. Do old me that o would be responsible for the labor costs and he would let me know the prices on Monday. I called back and questioned why I would be charged when I was still under the Ford bumper to bumper warranty. He reviewed the mileage and year and corrected himself, but I feel he should have checked that before trying to give me any type of cost, to be sure what he was quoting was correct. He then told me he would call Monday with the update, but called on a Wednesday, and then never got any updates. I would call and leave voicemails on both numbers listed on his business card, but would never get a call back. Finally I reached out to several managers from the service department and customer relations, but no one would call back. The friendliest most helpful person was the receptionist who walked over a message to a customer relations manager who looked into the issue and said she would follow up. They said a machine used to measure the Freon was broken and without that machine, they were responsible for the cost, but as I relayed to them, it didn’t concern me as I was having to pay 2 months for a car I couldn’t use, and this machine had not be broken for the 5 1/2 weeks they had my car. I received one more call telling me that the car would be done no later than Friday August 26th, but they would call back. Never got a call, even after leaving more voicemails with the customer relations person, Brenda, and messages to Alex, I didn’t get any calls so I drove back to the dealership. I asked Alex for an update and he said it would be sometime that day, but he couldn’t say when. Got a call 2 hours later, that it was ready, but when I got there, I inspected the car and the under carriage cover and some screws were sitting in the trunk. This has been the worst experience with any repair I have ever dealt with. I will share my experience with everyone and I would never recommend using this dealership for any repair work. Seven weeks and 3 days of frustration and annoyance for a warranty issue seems excessive and their refusal to give updates to the customer are inexcusable. A simple call back and follow up would have left a better impression of your dealership.

Leo Arispe is unprofessional and will waste your time! He advertised a New 2022 Ford cargo van on their lot. I was direct with him in buying this vehicle and made an appointment for the afternoon to come pick it up. After multiple text messages and reminders that we were on our way. We did the three hour drive to this dealership. Upon arrival my husband and I waited 40 minutes. Then we over heard Leo telling the other salesman to show us the Nissan cargo van. We thought maybe there was some miscommunication. So this salesman took us on a wild goose chase to look at a used Nissan cargo van. We let the salesman know this is not what we came here for. He told us he would look into what happened. After much more waiting and being dispatched to the front Leo Arispe told us sorry the van was sold that very morning. He did not have any remorse and didn't care how long of a drive it was for us. He had a lot of time to tell us this vehicle was sold. His excuse was that he could not guard this vehicle all day. If you want honesty this guy doesn't have it. I recommend going somewhere else to buy a vehicle you want.

My husband & I visited this passed Saturday and had the pleasure of working with Francisco Salazar. We highly recommend him for your next vehicle purchase and or trade in! Francisco was patient, polite, bilingual, and most of all, he gave us what we asked for. Not only did we get a good deal and get well taken care of, but he also ensured we got good money for our trade in. We also got to meet Fe Ramos, who assisted us during our process, who was also a delight. Lastly, in their finance department we dealt with Ulises Gomez. Ulises is nothing like any other finance person we’ve met! He actually took his time to break down the information for us and ensured we were comfortable with all the paperwork we were signing (no matter how late it was on a Saturday). Overall, this was the best car buying experience we’ve had so far. We definitely wouldn’t mind the drive from Austin for this kind of service anytime, thank you all!

My vehicle was having an issue and was basically only a few months old. I took it into the service department and Geoff was such and amazing help, he kept in constant contact with me and after a few days of troubleshooting him and his team where able to fix the issue with no hassle. I recommend the service dept 100%. Thank you Geoff for all your help! Great service.

I called Southway Ford and was assisted by Geoff. I explained to him the problems I was having with my vehicle and he told me to bring it in. To my surprise he was the one who greeted me when I arrived. He also remembered the issues with my vehicle, which made me feel confident in having my car fixed. He texted me each day and provided me with an update. I was extremely pleased with the service and experience Geoff provided me. I hope I do not have any more issues with my vehicle but if I do, I am definitely asking for Geoff. Please let him know how satisfied I was with his customer service. ❤️
