Very bad service and when finally there's someone available with very bad attitude , very unprofessional always the same wait be prepared to wait for a long time

According to the other reviews I’m not the only one frustrated with the ridiculously long wait time. I understand Saturday’s are busy but we waited 2 HOURS to see someone, I get being costumer service oriented and answering questions and processing loans take time but one rep was with someone over 2 hours which seems a little excessive. Another rep left her office while servicing a customer to visit with what must have been her parents that brought her 2 daughters into the branch. This doesn’t seem appropriate with a lobby full of people waiting on 3 reps to service customers that have been waiting for hours. If you know Saturday’s are busy why not staff accordingly?? If the branch manager thinks this is good service they are sadly mistaken.

Took an hour and a half to talk to someone about my account! From 1045 when i walked in to a bit after noon i was waiting! Whats the deal? Increase your staff or have the managers help out. Worst branch in SA.

Was in the drive thru yesterday for 55 minutes with only 3 cars in front of me. Absolutely no excuse for this!

Slowest SSFCU in town! Do NOT try to do anything at the outside lanes on your lunch break.

Drive thru service is terrible. Three lanes open, seven cars each lane. Get rid of the Manager and put someone in charge that can run a smoother and efficient operation.

Don't come here if your planning an quick bank run. Drive thru is the worst. If I had the zero star option that would be there rating. Been here twice this week and spent over half hour just waiting on drive thru. I'll rather drive to the new location in Brooks. Hopefully they know how to run a bank. Poor management!! And poor employees!

I joined this CU to have a local banking institution. In a months time I have learned I cannot use mobile banking for 60 days, they hold all deposits for 2-5 days at the tellers discretion all for being a new customer. It is really difficult to become an established customer when you cannot get money into your account to start using.

Arrived at 330pm on June 1st. The banking system knows it's the first of the month and first Friday of the month, why would they only have three windows out of 6. Come on of people are cashed out quicker that means more shopping or on time billing. Please make it more convenience as possible here....

I dread going inside. Tellers are sooo slow. And just stand around talking to each other. Its very irritating because its not like I make plans to stay at credit union all day. And they seem real fake. They dress nice but when see their shoes
They are wearing strippers shoe's. Really I really dont want to see peoples feet. So unprofessional. Its kinda of gross. It I want to see a stripper I will go to Surgars. Slowest service ever!

I'm being charged interest 2 times on one credit card because the credit card they sent me didn't work. I had an emergency purchase for my car and had it happened a few days later I would not be in this situation because I would've paid for my emergency purchase in cash. I tried using my credit card they sent me but it didn't work so I went to the bank to see if they could issue another but they said they couldn't issue a credit card just the debit/credit card. They(a few different ppl including the manager at the time) kept trying the card on a few of their machines to figure out why it wouldn't work. They did this for about 35 min. Luckily I had an hour lunch because it was taking forever. At this location the manager told me that since their card didn't work and it was their fault they would give me the cash for the purchase and charge it on my card. I said I didn't want a cash advance and they said it's not going to be as a cash advance but it ended up being charged as a cash advance in my later statements. At that time I thought they had taken care of me and figured I'd transfer whatever credit balances owed on other credit cards and combine them into one so I'd have just one payment instead of a few. Come to find out, even though I paid for the full amount of my emergency purchase it doesn't count towards it since soon after I had did the credit balance transfer. Even though I've paid way more than the amount for the cash advance was for it doesn't show as paid off and will not until the full amount is paid off. Well that's very unfortunate for me because I had just transferred my other credit card balances to that card and couldn't pay it all off that easily. The way they calculate it has been to only put a small portion of my payment to the"cash advance" and another percent to the "purchases". They're charging me at least $15 a month on interest alone, cash advance interest and purchase interest. By the way, to get answers about being charged interest twice and why the cash advance still shows took many phone calls. It took at least 2 weeks just having ssfcu look into it, waiting on hold for long periods, and finally getting a call back with answers. I use to speak highly of this bank but not anymore.
The drive thru service takes longer than going inside.

Lines at this location is horrible! Don t come here
September 2016 by Irene Chavez
I went in and they were under construction. There was a line to the door and lots of people waiting to be seen by someone. I expected a long wait. Pleasantly the wait was not more than 5 minutes and the teller, Tina, was very helpful and courteous & friendly. I lost my daughter's account number. She was able to assist us with getting the account number, cashing her check and also opening a checking account so my daughter could set up direct deposit. She also generated the debit card for the new account. It all took.less than 20 minutes and she made conversation with us while we she worked. I don't like going to the bank, but this was a pleasant experience.
