I live around the corner and always stop by here before going to the big chain stores. It's a few dollars more on some items. They're super friendly and someone's always waiting inside the door to help you find what you're looking for

I love this place for basic stuff. I buy my firewood in the winter time here. I also have replaced my screens for my windows at a very reasonable price.

Love they have guys by front door who will walk you to what you need in the store. You pay a little more, but it's worth it. Otherwise, I'm clueless wandering the aisles at Home Depot or Lowe's trying to find what I need, then having to check myself out.

Small Town hardware in medium sized city. Super friendly staff. You must understand that they only have so much room for stock and there many times and parts involved in hardware and home repair. So if your not sure if they have it call ahead and ask. If they don't the staff there would be more than grateful to order it and ship it to store for you. Try getting any pipe in schedule 80 at Home Depot or Lowe's. Or even any item they one of big brands don't carry. They will turn their noses up and say we don't do that here.

The pull rope broke on my lawn mower. I bought one from this place a few days ago. Took it out of the package at the counter match it up and make sure it was the correct part. At that time the counter person asked to throw away the box and my old part. Thinking I did not need it, I agreed. Paid and left. It rained so I did not get a chance to install it till a week later. Put it on and found the tabs that engage the flywheel do not open. Took it back and they denied selling it to me. I didn't want a refund, just wanted to exchange it for one that works. They don't stand behind the garbage they sell. Paid $79 plus tax cause I was in a bind. Not a big deal, but I definitely will never return. Bad business!
