Claudia was there the past 2 times I went to get blood drawn and she is the sweetest, spunkiest person! I adore her. She prides herself in being efficient with the queue. She's super personable and I look forward to seeing her every 6 months, if I'm that lucky. She's a keeper.

This location is hit or miss. If you get a particular woman there, she will complain about the other patient she just saw or the one waiting in the waiting room or the company itself. She'll also puncture you, you bleed like crazy and your arm will hurt for several days after. If you're lucky to get the man who is there sometimes, he's good at the blood taking. Try the Jefferson Square location instead. That phlebotomylady really will make you wish you never stepped inside that room because once she shuts that door on you, get ready for some eye rolling, complaining and unprofessional behavior. This is pretty standard MO for her--I won't be going to this location ever again. Last week was the last draw. Blood draw that is.

This is a complaint about the Westlake Austin location. I specifically asked twice to make sure that the technician included the Pro BNP test was in the blood draw at the time the tubes were being filled from the needle in my arm. This was AFTER I made a special trip to produce the lab slip with the Pro BNP test request. Even after I had to wait because my first lab slip did NOT include the Pro BNP test and went to get another one, the technician STILL did not include the BNP test which was the ONLY test result important to me in the entire lab draw. This is NOT the first time I have had trouble getting a PRO BNP test at that location. The last time I tried to get a ProBNP test at that location the results said the test showed blood too febrile to use. That was not the case at the other lab company I finally got the test from. I AM DONE WITH QUEST and will be making social media complaints and bad reviews about your company and especially the Westlake Austin location.

Rude and unprofessional. I'm unaware of when they take their last walk in but I arrived 30 minutes before closing. If that isn't enough time then simply state when the cut off is, no problem. The women working opened her door and said I'm not taking anymore walk-ins i close soon. Then she proceeded to close the intake door and complain to her current patient about me, which i could hear. "I'm getting out of here at 5 sharp, i don't care"

I've been to a number of different Quest locations and they are universally terrible. I have never once had an appointment start on time. I was 30 min early to my appt today and nobody was waiting ahead of me. The phlebotomist just sat in the lab room with the door closed. Five minutes before my appt time, another person shows up late for her appt, and the phlebotomist takes her in and now I'm sitting here waiting 20 minutes after my appt time.

back in july 11th, this was my first time getting my blood drawn by myself. ive never done it without my parents. i am a transgender male and needed to get blood drawn for top surgery. claudia was probably one of the rudest people ive ever met. i came in a few minutes late (i don’t live near west lake) and she was rude to me once i walked in. there was a little bit of trouble before getting my blood drawn. she looked me up in the system and showed my name and address, it also showed my legal name and address. i thought it would be easier to tell claudia that i am trans and that the name shown was my legal name. she rolled her eyes at me. for a long time, i haven’t felt shameful about being transgender, but her rolling her eyes after i told her something very confidential is very unprofessional. i even stated i was transgender as i made the appointment. after figuring out i needed a form, i found it in my emails. she took care of other patients as i looked for it. she then shouts my deadname in the waiting room with other people in there. she then says “sorry i have to do that.” no you didn’t. i gave you my information prior to the appointment and the name i go by. i emailed her the pdf form and i accidentally misspelled her last name and she groaned in annoyance. i finally emailed it to her correctly and then got my blood drawn. she then says “that should’ve taken 2 seconds, this took 2 hours.” though she’s right, this was very new to me. again, i have never done this by myself. i don’t know if she was having a bad day but regardless, claudia was rude to me and made me feel uncomfortable during the whole thing. to any trans person reading this, don’t come here.

Quick and efficient. Inside of Randall’s grocery store to the right. That wasn’t clear when I booked appointment online.Check in with iPad, no reception when I was there.

Claudia is such a sweetheart! I was so nervous about getting my blood drawn but she made it a SEAMLESS process. It honestly didn’t even hurt (just take deep breaths to calm your nerves). None of the Quests have great reviews but if you have to pick one, THIS is the one!

Claudia was really good at drawing blood. I only felt the initial poking a little bit which didn’t hurt at all. I forgot her name but the phlebotomist there few years ago was also really good- she was the best. Anyway, I always have good experience at this Quest location and will come here again whenever I need to have my blood drawn.

Absolutely no to the West Lake Quest Diagnostics. Opened the door to a 12:10 04/05/23 appointment personally made by me and a psychiatrist and automatically was stoped and was told to reschedule in the rudest tone by the lady working in the office. Yes it was, kind of important. I’m not sure if Quest Diagnostics was aware but there is sort a really pathetic situation where health care is all backed up and hard to freaking get and I was told to reschedule for no legit reason. The appointment was recommended by the psychiatrist I waited so hard to get after months and the blood work appointment was cancelled because of inconvenience.
