this was my first visit to jiffy lube, and it will be my last. i came in for an oil change, and with that comes a bunch of other nice services like a quick vacuum, new windshield wiper fluid and checking your tires. normally, i would appreciate this, but instead, it caused me problems.

I went to this jiffy line on Pioneer Day to assess a noise with my brakes. They were able to assess the issue and advised I needed the front rotors replaced due to excess wear. They showed me and I agreed. They were busy and didn’t have the rotors so they said it would take some time. I asked them and they said about 45 minutes for them to finish. That was at 10:20. I waited and waited. An hour passed. I went to the guy doing the rotors and brake pad change, K****n, and he was still working on my rotors. Another hour passed and he finally finished, he said he was taking it for a test drive to ensure everything was working. When he got back he said there was a knocking noise and said it could be either my suspension going bad or my engine mounts are breaking. I had never heard the noise before but once I got my car back it was bad. Every time I hit a bump or pressed my brakes it would make a loud knocking noise. I decided to look at my brakes to ensure it wasn’t something wrong with those, and I found that a bolt was loose from my brake calipers. I had been driving with a loose caliper on one of my front tires!! This is textbook negligence. When I went to the Manager and discuss this with him he said he remembered me and knew who worked on it and was upset with him for taking so long. He said I would get word from him or the GM about making it right. I didn’t hear anything for a few weeks so I called again and the manager said a card would be sent to me valid for additional services at any jiffy lube. I have yet to receive it. This is not the service I expect from a business claiming excellence. Negligent and Irresponsible is more like it. I do not advise servicing your vehicle here.

Be prepared to get the upsell sales pitch when going into any Jiffy Lube. Aside from that, the service is usually pretty good.

These guys squeezed me in two minutes before closing when I was in a pickle. I couldn’t be more appreciative of their kindness to stay a little past 7 to help me out. They were courteous throughout. The customer area was clean and stocked. Plus the tv was on something interesting. Thanks again!

I went over for an emissions test so pretty simple procedure. Unfortunately I had to wait for probably 20-30 minutes to get in which was a bummer but it didn't seem like it was necessarily their fault... The car in front of me just was having something done that took longer. It was my first ever time at a jiffy Lube and it wasn't terrible. I can see the appeal but I think I'd still rather go somewhere else for most of my car work. The man in charge when I was here was great. Very nice and knowledgeable and was sorry I had to wait so long. So this location was good. The service I had was good the staff was nice but my personal preference will be to go elsewhere.

I’ve had pretty good service at any jiffy lube but this one is amazing! They are so fast and always make sure to open all three doors (for me and my kids). They also came in and changed the tv to cartoons without me even asking. Today there were six cars there when I pulled up but I was still out in 30 minute. Love this location!

If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. This has got to be one of the rudest Jiffy Lubes I've ever experienced. Just getting off of work and experiencing traffic getting there I pulled up with 4 minutes to 7. They close at 7, their signs said open. He came out said his clocks said 7:01, I pointed out the signs still said open. He was much more condescending this time saying they don't stop to flip the signs when they are working on a car. But had time to check his clock. At this time I said the signs say open, and on one clock it was still 2 minutes to 7 and my cell phone said 6:59. Then pointed out he'd been arguing for at least 2 minutes. At this point he turned around and slammed the door. I will probably never go to Jiffy Lube again. After 20+ yrs I'll find somewhere else to go give money every 3 months. I understand the employees frustration, but I got there as quickly as I could and it was before 7. There is never a reason to treat a customer the way he treated me. That is all around poor business. It takes 20 min or less for them to do an oil change, I wasn't asking for some giant service. I'd avoid this place at any time of day. People that treat customers this way shouldn't be dealing with customers. Not sure why I've wasted 20 yrs going to Jiffy. It's not great to begin with. I'll find somewhere that treats paying customers with kindness and respect and that honors their hours. ✌

Jiffy Lube at this location is absolutely fantastic! They were quick, kind, and enexpensive. They had us in and out (with a line of people) in under 30 minutes for new spark plugs, oil change, registration, and a detail. Thank you Jiffy Lube for saving us time and money!

Pulled in just an emissions test and a lube oil change. Was told about my serpentine belt needing to be replaced. I generally follow with what Jiffy Lube mechanics recommend. I had no idea that they didn't know what belt would be needed and didn't have it on stock. They cut the belt THEN found out that they didn't have it. They went to some other location and brought back the wrong belt twice. Six hours later I'm still waiting at jiffy lube, hoping and praying that they may finish before their day ends.

I came for an oil change and to have my brakes examined. The employee who helped me was great and very helpful. He also made sure I knew what was going on throughout the entire process. My car is stubborn and he walked me through why it was taking longer than normal. I would definitely recommend this location and plan on going here for my oil changes and other car needs.

Came in today needing an oil change and on the spot renewal for registration. I let them know I needed to pick my kids up by a certain time and they were very accommodating and made sure to get me out on time. Every employee was kind and greeted me with a smile. I too work in customer service and know that being face to face with customers isn't the easiest and is often draining so I commend them for their excellent customer service today. Great experience! Thank you!

I initially went in for an oil change but never realized this was a full service shop so the mechanic in charge told me which items to focus on that i needed to fix, he was friendly but also very knowledgeable and the prices are reasonable, I came back a week later and had all those items worked on. As a consumer i appreciate friendliness but honesty and knowledge is obviously the most important too.This is my shop from now on.

We took our car in for an oil change and service on 11/4/18. Two days later the check engine light went on. I had to take it to the dealership to get it checked. That meant I had to take a day off. The dealership said the oil cap wasn't put back on correctly (it was crooked) and they didn't fill up any of the other fluids. Would not recommend. I mess they can't even screw on a cap correctly.

They charge WAY more than even my dealer. I came out with an 85$ oil change even after a coupon. My dealer only charges 65$
I will not be coming back to Jiffy Lube.

This business is in a very convenient spot for this area. There are 5 entrances on the northeast corner of the the street for easy access. The employees are very friendly and the service is very quick. There are places to eat within walking distance, places that have fast food such as Carl's Jr., Panda express, Chipotle, and Cafe Rio so you can finish your meal and make it back just in time to get your vehicle. Also, it shares a parking lot with a Maverick Gas Station. There is always coupons available on their website, so if you are looking to save some money then pull up the coupon on your phone or just mention the coupon and they will take it off the total. I am always pleased with the service I receive here every time! I absolutely recommend this location to anyone who needs service on their vehicles!

I went for my emissions test and they did it quickly and with a coupon it was a reasonable price. I would go to Jiffy Lube for an emissions but I wouldn't go for probably anything else. That stems from an experience where they told someone their brakes were bad and caused a lot of inconvenience to get a second opinion and the person at Jiffy Lube was very wrong.

Told me a bunch of stuff was wrong with my car when I went in for safety and emissions. I took it to emissions plus to get a second look, those guys were way more helpful and honest. Nothing was wrong with my car and it passed.

I've been to this location multiple times. Most of the time I just get an oil change. I know a thing or two about cars, so I can perform a lot of my own maintenance. They have sealed windshield chips for me, taking care of it with my insurance. I once asked them to do a tire rotation, and never will again, nor will I recommend anyone to service their tires there. First of all they only do one side at a time, strictly straight front to back. This is appropriate only for directional tires; all others should cross front to back which requires that the car be jacked up on both sides front and back. Further, the guy doing the rotation (which was okay for my directional tires) stripped a BOLT. So then I had to drive with one of my tires secured by 4 instead of 5 lug nuts down to a Jiffy Lube in Sandy where they had the resources and expertise to replace the bolt. One time they told me I need to replace my serpentine belt, so I went out and bought one to change it myself, and still haven't gotten around to it, but I've been back twice and they haven't mentioned it at all. What the heck? And then today... ugh. I'm in there getting the full synthetic service, and of course they try to sell everything their computer says you might need, so after declining all the stuff I know I don't need or can do myself, they find corrosion on my battery prongs. They said that for $14.99 they could clean it up for me. FREAKING SERIOUSLY. They kept trying to nickel and dime me, so I said to myself "just do it and watch them be sad when you drive away without giving them a tip." That's right. They lost their tip because they wanted to charge me fifteen bucks for baking soda and hot water. Like I said, I know a thing or two about cars, and one of the most basic things is cleaning corrosion off a battery. But they saw a girl, and girls probably don't know much about cars, so they decided to try to take advantage of perceived lack of knowledge. What a douchebaggy thing to do. So I let them think they were taking me for a ride while planning to not give them a tip even though they'd done a super fast job, and even cleaned some trash out of my car. Here's a tip: when it's something simple, don't be an upselling douchebag. If you want repeat customers, give them good service--this includes explaining something as simple as hot water, baking soda and a toothbrush, and giving customers the option of doing it themselves or deciding $15 isn't worth the time and effort they'd have to personally put in. I'm gonna find another place. After today, I'll never be able to trust this place again.

This location is the worst! I had my oil changed and tires rotated Tuesday. They charged me $5 more than my son's car (same make, model, year)the previous day at another location. They left a large oil mark on my seat (which they tried to get off with windex), they told me that my coolant was completely dry. I took the car to the dealer and they said there is plenty of coolant, Jiffy lube lied to me, to up sell my oil change. I called today and spoke with the assistant manager and he said they probably made a mistake and told me wrong. He couldnt explain why they charged me more and told me to bring the car back to spray more windex on my seat. Notice Jiffy Lube always leaves oil marks on your steering wheel, glove box, shifter and doors! I learned my lesson and will go else where from now on.

The sign of a good shop is when something goes wrong and they correct it. I've been going to these guys for years for oil changes and safety and emission inspections. I have a 1997 BMW that requires special power steering fluid, they topped it up with what their (incorrect) tech sheet called out. When I brought the matter to Manager Chad's attention, he purchased the correct fluid directly from BMW, flushed out the entire system and topped it off as per BMW specifications. Thanks Chad and your great team, I'm a happy customer.
