I want to start by saying that although the service was great and the short hike to the yurt was fun, the overall price of $250 for this activity is absolutely not worth it!! So I am literally giving it 2 stars because it felt more like a rip off. Look, the food was just ok, nothing incredible, and you get small portions (you are better off going for a steak at Ruth's Chris). There is no way that access to the resort, rental of snowshoes, that food, and the "guide" is worth $250. The guides were great, awesome individuals, nothing against them but again. Why even have a guide for this activity? The walk to the yurt is probably 20 min. You can see the yurt from the main center, you can't get lost, again is just to simply increase the price of this activity given that gratuity is also forced on the total. Felt pretty disappointed. For that money go do something else and go have a nice dinner in Park City downtown.

My girlfriend and I did the Nordic Yurt snowshoeing activity for Valentine's Day and it was wonderful. The snowshoe trail to the yurt is just over a half-mile each way so it's not too challenging, even for beginners. Upon arriving at the yurt, they have both propane fireplaces as well as a real wood firepit, all with lots of seating to sit around. While waiting for the four-course dinner to start, they have an unlimited hot chocolate and s'mores bar that we took full advantage of. The dinner consisted of soup, salad, short ribs, and dessert. I didn't care for the salad but all the other courses were great. Once dinner ended, they gave us another half-hour to relax around the firepit before snowshoeing back.The ambience at the yurt was great, especially for Valentine's Day. We loved the decor inside the yurt too. And perhaps the best part of the entire experience was the high quality service we received from the staff at the yurt. I would definitely recommend this activity and we would love to go back again next year.

Phenomenal! As a local concierge, I've had some pretty great experiences around Park City. This is one of the best! The food was so good (best salad I've ever had!)The service is outstanding and the timing of courses is perfect.

Amazing experience at the Nordic yurt. The hike in was the perfect distance - not too far but enough to enjoy the surroundings and be ready for dinner! The atmosphere of the yurt and the fire pits outside was lovely, so cosy and relaxed. The service and food were also wonderful, would highly recommend to all.

The Nordic Yurt experience was a perfect way to celebrate the festive period in Midway.We were visiting from England and managed to secure a table as a family. We weren’t disappointed by what the yurt had to offer.The food was incredible and the location in the mountains really added to the occasion.Thanks to Bryan and the team for their hospitality. Definitely one to check out if you’re ever in the area!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Yurt Dinner! It began with a beautiful .5 mile hike followed by a great dinner. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was supper cozy. Grandkids loved making smores by the fire. Favorite part was the beautiful moonlit hike after dinner. WAO is our go to company for all of our Utah adventures!!!

Such an amazing experience. We had a group of six and everyone had the best time. From the snowshoe in, to the food, staff, and the atmosphere, we loved every bit of it. The food was delicious, the staff were dialed in to all the details, and the atmosphere was perfect … beautiful, cozy, comfortable and rustic (exactly what you would want). Highly recommend for groups or couples. It was unique and the entire night was genuinely fun, we absolutely loved it.

Me and my boyfriend recently visited after Christmas. Overall we were very happy with the experience, the biggest highlight was the incredible service provided by Claire and Hailey. We weren’t able to snowshoe to the yurt because well, Utah hasn’t received enough snowpack. The hike up was enjoyable and the guides shared some fun information about the Wasatch Back. The food was delicious, we enjoyed all the courses. The timing between courses was a little slow. I will say we felt the portion sizes were a little small and were left a little hungry after the meal. Maybe we didn’t fill up enough in smores? The yurt was a wonderful experience and ambiance. I would recommend to friends.

If you are looking for a truly unique and memorable experience, look no further; dinner at the yurt with WAO is the way to go! Upon arrival to the yurt we were greeted by warm fires and complimentary hot drinks, which we enjoyed on the beautiful deck as the full moon rose over the mountains. The staff were amazing and did everything to ensure that our night was perfect, from start to finish. I was impressed by the attention to detail, the coziness of the yurt, and, of course, the delicious four course meal. This was such a fun adventure that I can't recommend enough. What an awesome way to spend the evening. Thank you guys so much!
