I’ve been a member of several gyms over the years, but very few have had the kind of standout staff that make you look forward to coming in. At this location, two employees in particular—Westin and Kalee—consistently go above and beyond! I am moving now, but hope they keep elevating in their position and field, they definitely deserve it!!

About a year ago, my friend Terra Nielsen invited my husband and I to a Studio Red class at VASA. We went—and nearly died! (My husband hasn’t taken a class since 😂). At the time, I was preparing for gastric sleeve surgery and wanted to build muscle, so I kept going.
I had my surgery in mid-August and focused hard on nutrition (shoutout to protein!) and staying hydrated. A couple of months and several pounds later, I returned to class. The instructors were amazing, offering modified moves to help me rebuild strength. Denise, in particular, has been incredible.
At the start of 2025, I began personal training with Marcus, who created a plan tailored to my health history and goals. It was a game-changer. For the past six months, I’ve been training with Brett and doing exercises I never imagined—like deadlifts and squats. The human body truly is a miracle.
I’ve hit all my goals:
✅ 75 pounds lost
✅ 55 inches lost
✅ BMI at 25
I’m beyond grateful to the VASA team who supported me every step of the way. A few weeks ago, Denise asked if I’d noticed the definition in my quads—and another woman told me she was jealous of my calves during a session with Brett. Those non-scale victories mean the world.

Probably the newest/cleanest VASA I’ve been to. I’ve visited the taylorsville and south jordan location, all of which are nice but this one seems a lot newer with newer equipment. About the same size as the others. The staff seems a lot more engaged and nicer than the other locations as well.

Happy to update this to the four stars this gym deserves if the recently replaced mirrors in the free weight area are replaced. I hope y’all didn’t pay your contractor for those because every single one in now convex. Vertigo inducing funhouse ?

Great equipment and friendly staff. Plenty of different equipment for each muscle group. Nice option for wet or dry sauna. Clean individual showers.

I have multiple items of feedback for this gym. 1: maintenance staff is slow. Everyday their is a broken piece of equipment. The pool frequently closes without notice. The gym is way too busy with high-school kids. The staff is rude. They wouldn't let me use a credit they gave me. Fees are too high. They are nazi’s about your picture on the account even though there's nothing in the T&C that says you have to have it. The parking lot is a joke with no parking. The road is not maintained as well as sidewalks.I will give a shout out to 2 awesome fitness instructors: Jan(pump class), Brooke and Katie(cycle). These 3 ladies deserve a raise.

Love the gym, crowds? Sure at 5pm I avoid it. But there are other times it cools off. Overall it's a nice gym, friendly staff, and I feel it has a good range of equipment.
