Found this restaurant completely by chance, and since our family spent several years in Spain, we really wanted to try it. It's a very attractive building and looks well cared for, inside and out. Our server, Zack, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. My father-in-law wanted the seafood paella, so I called to pre-order as suggested on their website and had no problems ordering except minimum order is for two (although at the restaurant I heard them tell another table that single servings were available - I would have preferred that, but I guess there was a misunderstanding. ) The hot roll with oil & vinegar was fresh and tasty, the calamari appetizer was excellent and cooked perfectly, and the sherbet palate cleanser was a pleasant surprise. However, we were not thrilled with the main courses. I thought the paella was somewhat bland. There was plenty of fish, shrimp, mussels and classic, but there wasn't much flavor. My wife found her New York strip (Filete de Ternera) to be tough and hard to eat, but the asparagus was perfection. It was an interesting experience, but I don't think we'll be back.Parking: You will have to enter from Spring Lane as it is inevitable Only on Highland Drive.

I’ve been to Cafe Madrid a number of times. I’ve never gotten entrees because I always go for the tapas. While the food is always delicious, it can get a bit pricey and while some tapas are good sized helpings, others are a little skimpy. With that said, if you want a nice evening, good food and nice ambiance, Cafe Madrid is the place.

This was my first time here. We went on a Friday without a reservation and they were very gracious in getting us a table. The atmosphere is overall cozy however as it is a smaller area it got very loud. I'm sure on a less busy night it's not as bad, but Friday night trying to have a conversation was extremely difficult. The food is good, for what you pay I would have liked to see more presentation out of it and a bit more flavor. Our waitress Delaney was however, absolutely phenomenal and took great care of us, she was a 10/10.

We showed up without reservations and we're lucky enough to get a seat. Our waitress Delaney was amazing and took great care of us as well. The food was good but a high price point. I would have liked to see a bit more presentation out of the dishes but overall we were not disappointed. While the space is small it is loud if the restaurant is full, and does not allow for intimate conversations, it would be better to go on a night that isn't typically as busy for that.Kid-friendliness: Make sure they are well behaved.

We found this place when looking for fine dining. Honestly I didn't know that there was a fine dining type place with Spanish dishes in the US. It was wonderful. The atmosphere was just right. The food was delicious. The service was exceptional. Would definitely recommend for a date night or fancy night out.

Cafe Madrid is an amazing dinner experience from the minute you walk in. The food is perfect, the place feels as you are in Spain. Everything was excellent but the highlights were the pullo Gallego and the lamb shank. Amazing. The staff is joyful and attentive. A must go!Wheelchair accessibility: Enough.

My husband & I were there on a date night, and I was pretty blown away. We shared the Ojos de Buey, my husband had the New York steak with chimichurri, and I had the orange glazed grilled duck, and we were not disappointed. Everything was delicious and made to perfection. Nicole was really professional, attentive, and personable, and just overall friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and the place. We will definitely be back for brunch. Overall, it's a great place for a date or a group of adult friends and family, cant wait to visit again.

¡Auténtico macho! When you walk in, the vibe is transformative - feels like your in Spain. Diego really knows his wines and has some unusual offerings. We split 3 tapas and one entree. Everything was delicious - the octopus appetizer and the lb shank entree were incredible. I highly recommend.

The restaurant was largely empty when we had dinner there on a Monday evening as a group of 6. We started with very good tapas appetizers. Among us, we had 4 different entrees - two different salmon dishes, scallops and shrimp, and a pork special - all of which were deemed delicious. Service was also excellent, with some nice touches you would expect to find in a much more expensive restaurant, like an expert decanting of our red wine and a sorbet palate cleanser between courses. We will gladly return to Cafe Madrid.

Totally agree with Alex, the dinner for February 14 was totally a disappointment and extremely expensive. $110 per person, seriously?? With a menu without the best dishes? My husband ordered a vegetable paella, tasteless, without any presentation on the dish and it looked like it had been reheated in the microwave. We chose this place for our dinner because we had been there before and we thought the food was the best, but this time it was a total disappointment. $320 dollars for a dinner that we didn't even enjoy?
