The lady that worked at this outlet was super helpful! She helped us rent a tesla, and return the tesla. The organization as a whole was difficult, but the midvale location was huge.

Please if you rent from here, make sure you check the vehicle and take pictures before you get out of the lot. Getting any answers or information if very hard after they fault you with damages that were already there. This location was wonderful, just take pictures because SLC airport was a nightmare when you return it

Car was dirty inside and out ? Originally reserved a Tesla, but didn’t know they wouldn’t rent it without a cc. I guess it’s in fine print on the website, but we didn’t see it. Supplied us a Toyota Camry that hadn’t been cleaned. Used Kleenex in the door. Notes in the center console. Splattered bugs all over the outside. The Thought maybe we were at U-Haul ☹️?

There is just something off about this place. When I went to pick up my car I was a little early. They told me the only car they had was electric. I said that wouldn't work because I was driving across the country. They then told me they would have a gas car in 15 minutes. Thanks for freaking me out for no reason. They then said I had to put down $500 because I was using a debit card. Okay, I can live with that. I checked my account and it was taken out. Two weeks later the charge appeared again. They took it out, didn't want it, then took it out again, then didn't want it. Finally, I called after my rental to see if I left something in the car. Call number 1 pressed lost and found option then disconnected. Call number 2 pressed option for current rental then disconnected. Call number 3 pressed option 5 and they picked up. I informed them about there phone service and they said they couldn't do anything about it. Well, I guess their honest. Most companies will have you leave a message and never call you back. Hertz says, "Screw the message we just aren't going to take your call."UPDATEI can see why the local office is so terrible because the corporate is worse.They said they wanted to contact me directly about my experience. The first person who messaged me asked for my info. The second person who messaged me asked what happened. The third person wanted to know when I rented. The second person showed up again and said they were deeply sorry. I haven't heard yet from 1 or 3. Thanks for waisting more of my time. Stick with the auto google review responses to bad reviews instead of pretending to care.

This place only wants to rent electric cars couldn't even get a gas powered car people weren't very friendly asked where I would charge the car since I don't have a charging unit at home they told me they can give me a map of places that I can go charge the car but it's either out of my way or I have to pay to charge it and sit there for however long it takes

I booked my rental 1 month in advance to start off. When I showed up to get it they informed me that they needed a major credit card to be able to rent to me (this was never disclosed prior to my reservation). The lady that assisted me was not helpful and in fact acted like she couldn't care less that the whole experience nearly ruined my planned vacation. She only offered to run a credit check to see if I could pay using a debit card. When that came back as no she so casually said oh, well so sorry. Like it was nothing. I will NEVER use or recommend Hertz to anyone!!!

Great service!I just wish they didn't have all the EV. Pretending that electricity has less emissions than fuel power is, what... Cheaper?, Better? Idk it's BS!!And since when did plant food (carbon) become a bad thing?

The ladies at this Hertz car rental location are the best. I really like that, they were upfront about the pricing, and they went out of their way to get a vehicle that suited our family better than the first one we tried, for no additional costs. One of the ladies even had a broken foot but that didn't stop her from running around that place helping all her customers. I was very impressed with this rental car company, My wife and I have had a few bad experiences with the other guys. Thank you, Hertz.

These people are thieves. I reserved a car for $350, and on the day, they told me they had no cars. And they kept my money!The man running the shop was absolutely indifferent. Hertz is phonetically accurate, because all they do is cause hurt.
