Jocelyn was super helpful and friendly. I tried on around 7 pairs of shoes (looking for ones comfortable for plantar fasciitis) but wanted some in different colors that the store did not carry. She was able to help me order them online. She was very pleasant and helpful!

I returned a pair of shoes that I bought online and here and was interested in buying some different ones in store. The owner of the store helped me out and was very attentive. He really went above and beyond to help me find a pair of shoes that I would like. LOVED my experience.

Coming home from walking my pup this morning I knew it was time for new shoes. Stopped by this store and all four employees, Lexi, Hierra, Elyse and Braden played a part in finding shoes that met my needs. My sizing was difficult but with their help I’ll be walking this winter in comfortable dry shoes! They were wonderful with me and my pup!

I came in Saturday afternoon to pick up some shoes. I was instantly greeted by Lexi and Bradyn with smiles and kind words. Carolyn and Elyse happily helped me from there and promised me my shoes looked cute and hyped me up. This store has the best environment and the kindest employees. Much love for NB Union Park

Just bought a pair of running shoes at this store, great experience! On my way home from walking my dog and knew it was time for new shoes. I received help from all four employees, Lexi, Hierra, Elyse and Brayden! I was having a hard time finding the right fit and all of them helped with my decision. Made great suggestions and gave my puppy, Clifford, treats and love so I had time to make the right choice. Thanks everyone!I'll be walking with comfortable dry feet this winter!

I loved this location! Hierra helped me find the perfect pair of cleats. I had to try on a few different sizes and instead of being impatient with me, she was so willing to make sure I found the right pair. I’ll definitely be going back to shop again thanks to her customer service!

I recently brought two of my children into the store on two separate occasions (one child per visit). Both times I received excellent service, first from Carolyn, and the second time from Amber. Both of them were patient, attentive, and positive. They were knowledgeable about the different styles of shoes and polite when answering my many questions. :) I really appreciated their time and attentiveness in helping me determine the proper shoes for my kids. We will definitely recommend and return to New Balance!

Hierra (not sure of the spelling of her name) was such a delight to work with! She was thorough and friendly and even though she said she was a newer employee she was very knowledgeable about the products and options offered. I would definitely buy shoes from her again!

No warranty!When I’ve purchased shoes here I’ve always been told how well they stand behind the shoes they sell, both New Balance and the store. However, today I found out that’s not the case.The employee I spoke to was happy to give me store credit for the defective shoes (I didn’t know how much but I was pleased that they wanted to help a customer and began to look for something else to buy) but when the manager/owner came out of the back, he said there is no warranty. He agreed that they were defective and it was obvious they had hardly been used, but, he said because they were a year and four months old New Balance would not cover it. He also said that the store would not stand behind me even though it’s obvious they are defective because if he sent them in to New Balance as defective he would be out the money for the replacement shoes because New Balance only covers defects for 30 days period.Lesson learned! If someone wants New Balance shoes, they can be purchased at REI or Scheel’s with a no questions asked warranty. I’ve never had a problem with either of these stores standing behind the products they sell (including shoes) no matter how long it’s been if the product is defective.This must be why some small business concerns are struggling and have poor customer support. Apparently, New Balance doesn’t care about these small businesses, but they will bend over backwards for the large companies so they will continue to offer their product. No way will they risk offending them for fear of losing the connection with a national firm to market their shoes.Buyer beware if you decide to do business with this store.***update***Yesterday Scott gave me one possible solution to the problem, so he does deserve credit for trying to come up with an idea to help. He suggested putting a stitch on one side of the tongue permanently preventing it from moving. He said it would be better then the original design. I agreed with apprehension.I picked it up today and it’s way off center with the corner pushed up on the ankle and doesn’t protect the foot from the lace on the opposite side.Credit for the suggestion and effort to have it done, but there’s a reason shoe makers don’t make the tongue permanent. Every foot is a different size.I was unable to complete my review yesterday until I could see the results to comment and make posible star rating changes.I noticed that Scott replied to my comments last night. I would suggest to him that exaggerating truths become obvious to readers and don’t help his cause.It’s true that I purchased a smaller size of this shoe at first because they didn’t have my size in stock. It was close to fitting and his awesome employee suggested I wear them at home for a little while and if I felt they were to small I should bring them back and she would order the correct size. A policy found in most shoe stores. Yes it was a return with a repurchase. It didn’t cost you anything and you ended up with my money.Meanwhile, last night Scott called and left an angry voicemail on my wife’s phone. I’ve included the majority of the transcript below.“This is Scott. I own the New Balance store and I am beside myself. Uh, you brought in a shoe today that was a year and what 3 or 4 months old? Um, it had a little tear in the loop. I just went and spent $20 out of my pocket to fix it. And you gave me a one star review. I am beside myself. I'm going to un detach that and have that um, at the store. I'm gonna undo the fix, have it at the store and you can pick it up. Please don't buy shoes from me ever again."In his defense, the store was broken into recently and he may have still been upset and stressed about the loss.It’s too bad when business owners step over dollars to pick up dimes. I’ve purchased 3 pairs of shoes in the last 2 years or so, not counting my wife, family and those I have referred.You will get your wish!Dear reader, I have shared the truth of my experience the very best I can in the limited space available, you can now decide where to spend your hard earned money.

Went in to just browse some shoes. The place was really clean and well organized. The staff was quick to help out and even showed me shoes i wasn’t even looking for. They don’t have everything that the new balance website has but that’s understandable as there are an insane amount of shoes on the website. They did have a few of the made in america 990v6 which was what i was looking for. The owner of the store(manager?) was very friendly.
