What a scam. Came all the way from California to stay here and the owners decided the money we paid not just to put but to travel wasn’t worth their time, and they cancelled the week of after we arrived in Utah despite us booking it 7 months in advance. Half a year of plans completely ruined just because the decided they wanted the house the same as us. This should not be allowed.

My family booked this house over 7 months ago- and three days before all family flies in to enjoy our family reunion, the owners decided they want it this week and cancel on us. This is wrong in so many ways. And the owners may have to pay a fee for cancelling on us, but that goes straight to airbnb, nothing to our family. Incentive for airbnb to get cancellations, and the owners can destroy months of planning for a family and their reunion (which was our whole Christmas gift.). Serious questioning of integrity in this situation. Not to mention lots of tears from grandkids…

This was an unbelievable stay!
Charming and magical atmosphere in this very nicely decorated lodge. This lodge can easily accommodate large groups.
The grounds are beautiful both summer and winter. The lodge is spectacular from amazing views out 30' windows to a chef kitchen that's incredible. To top it off, you have a hot tub that's over 20' long, a nice large swimming pool, indoor rachet volley ball court, stream room, and a garage that's over 80' long. Wild life all around and only a 15 minute drive to Park City.
Absolutely amazing property. One of the best places we have stayed in.
I can see why people have their wedding and family reunions here.
My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!

Kind of a bit rundown and quirky but still very beautiful location and lots of amenities. Specifically we couldn't get the jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom to work, the floor of the pool was banged up (and because of that looked dirty), lofts bedrooms that had them were not accessible, the dishwasher didn't do a great job, the projection tv had to adjust volume on the landing above the great room, waterfalls were not running since we were some of the first renters of the year, and so on. But we still had a great time visiting, playing games, and looking at the amazing views. Also there were no curtains on any of the windows, even the bedrooms, which would be nice to have on the floor level at least. Actually the master had curtains that didn't really cover the window, and a privacy screen that didn't cover another window, but nothing in the bathroom, again a little weird. There was also virtually no cell service, even for Verizon (but that of course isn't the reason you go to the mountains), so all our phones had to be switched to wifi calling and texting, and the wifi was good but not amazing - again not why you go to the mountains. Also there was no a/c in any rooms probably not a problem for 90% of the year but may be an issue in the summer. The sports equipment for raquetball was old and beat u,so you will likely want to bring your own. The house house has amazing carved wood and art though and was great for an adult family reunion for about four days.

Large, Private, Castle like lodge your family, group or business will never regret or forget. It's a special place.. One of a kind experience.
Exceptional value when compared to having multiple hotel rooms.

Rented Stone Hill for the weekend to have our wedding in 2013. Such a beautiful place, great views from the lawn, elegant interior, and great amenities.

The property was clean, but the property is dilapidated.
Gas leak in the kitchen smelt terrifying.
The pool room smells like a primate exhibit and had mold
The roof is failing apart.
The roof leaks and there was a black substance oozing from the ceiling light fixtures.
The garage has a water leak from above.
The location is absolutely beautiful, but the property is weathered.

Not only is the place run down, it was filthy when we arrived. So dirty in fact, we had to clean the kitchen before we could use it. Cupboard doors either don’t open or are falling off the hinges. The patio areas outside appeared to have not been cleaned in months. There was rodent droppings on the furniture and the grill was disgusting. There were even cobwebs in the master bathroom and dead insects in the windows through the house. The lawn was not mowed and overall it was incredibly disappointing. Don’t waste your money, stay someplace else.

This place was amazing! We had 16 people staying here and it was more than big enough for all of us ro play, interact, and sleep. The pool and hot tub and steam room were great. The racquetball court was fun. The views were spectacular! It offered privacy and a perfect retreat. The kitchen was large and fully stocked app the comforts of home. We may just come back and bring all of our kids next time. We even saw wild turkey in the back yard.
