Love this place. Both of the courses are fantastic. Best public golf course in Utah, in my opinion.

Beautiful course, awesome wildlife, trees changing color made for a picturesque experience golfing!! Grounds keepers and support staff were awesome and friendly. The guy at the pro shop desk could use a refresher course in customer service though. We had an issue in the canyon and caused us a delay of approx 10 minutes. Called in and spoke to the nicest girl that pleasantly assured us it’s okay and a non issue. We actually made up some time by driving spiritedly and showed up AT the tee time on the dot. “You’re late so I sold your tee time to someone else” was the first thing he said when we told him the name it was under. I told him that I apologize but had called and spoke to someone and she said it was perfectly okay and no big deal. He didn’t seem to care and said “you won’t make all one holes probably because I’m locking the gates at 6 and if your vehicle is in here, good luck getting it out and I have two groups to get out before you guys.” It was then I reminded him in a direct and matter of fact way, that it was by no means intentional, just to be clear. I work all day and everyday in customer service and oversee an entire department. If one of my employees were to say something remotely like that to a client, it would appall me and a serious discussion, or probably worse, would entail.

Fantastic course, both of them. Well maintained, great pace of play, friendly staff, and the views are unparalleled. Had to downgrade my stars, because for the third straight year I have played this course late in the fall and the greens are absolutely terrible because they punch in the fall instead of the spring. These pictures are from October 14th, and these greens were punched in early to mid-September so over a month. This is exactly how it was last year when I played around this time very frustrating

The staff at the cafe is very friendly. There are 2 courses. Tournaments of 144 + fit in the common room easily. They have an outdoor deck with many hummingbirds in the summer. Every time I’m here there is wildlife (deer and lots of wild turkeys!). A great course to visit in the fall for foliage color changes. Campground next door too.

A bit of a meh course for me. Nothing
that was a “wow” factor for me - especially given all the “hype” surrounding this course.
Greens are well maintained, fairways are kept well and tee boxes are in good shape. The course layout itself is tight on most holes and requires something other than a driver, unless you are pin point accurate with it.
Overall, a mediocre course - If I were to drive up to Midway I’d much rather play Soldier Hollow than Wasatch, but that’s personal preference.

Customer service is horrible. The lady who answers the phone is truly ornery and very rude. Not personable at all. The courses are amazing but the staff is very disrespectful.

My sons and I play here every time they come out. Beautiful course great staff. Beautiful views of the mountains, especially in the fall. It's a bit of a drive but well worth it.

It truly makes me sad writing this review...I love this course, it's by far my #1 in the SLC area -5 star play - 5 star course . That said I've tried for 3 weeks straight to get a tee time on the Mountain course on a sat/sun between 6-11AM...I've stayed up until midnight on Wednesday to book 10 days in advance and no luck with anything before 2 PM. Somethings gotta change...Maybe increase the green fee to higher price as this course severely undervalues itself. Or make the weekend tee time call in only to prevent the same group from double booking then cancelling.

Pretty good conditions, good pace of 3:40 for a foursome. Greens a little browned, but still overall good.

This is one of the best courses in the state, two 18-hole courses, mountain and lake, and the view is worth the time to play.

I hosted a couple groups here for golf in mid July. Chris was helpful in getting us setup. The views were beautiful and you can’t go wrong with either course.

Wasatch Golf Course in Midway, Utah, holds a special place in my heart, bringing back fond memories of golfing with my dad. My recent visit last fall was a wonderful experience, as the course was in fantastic condition, just as I remembered it.
The Wasatch Mountain State Park Golf Course features two distinct 18-hole layouts: the Mountain Course and the Lake Course. Both courses offer unique challenges and stunning views, making every round an enjoyable adventure. During my visit, I played both courses and was impressed by the meticulous maintenance and pristine condition of the fairways and greens. The fall foliage added an extra layer of beauty, with vibrant colors enhancing the already picturesque surroundings.
The Mountain Course is particularly challenging, with its elevation changes, tight fairways, and strategically placed hazards. It requires precise shot-making and careful course management, keeping you on your toes throughout the round. The Lake Course, while slightly more forgiving, still offers plenty of challenges with its water features and well-placed bunkers. Both courses provide breathtaking views of the Wasatch Mountains, creating a serene and inspiring golfing environment.
The facilities at Wasatch Golf Course are top-notch, with a well-stocked pro shop and excellent practice areas. The staff is friendly and professional, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience from start to finish.
Playing at Wasatch Golf Course last fall not only provided a fantastic golfing experience but also brought back cherished memories of times spent with my dad. It’s a place where the beauty of nature and the love of the game come together perfectly. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking for a memorable round of golf in a stunning setting.
