Imagine refusing service to someone not wanting to wear a mask when there was not a soul in the store. Every employee is wearing a mask, and we are definitely more than 6 feet apart. Aaaand on top of that there is a 4 inch thick bulletproof glass window separating us. Absolute Lunancy. Lost my business.

This review is more so for the company in whole. I had a pawned item at the Orem store for 2 months. I went in the 3rd month to get my item just to find out that they closed the store down. I find out that I would have to go to the Murray store to get my item. I never received a call or message to let me know that they were closing the store. Would have been nice to have them let me know so I could've picked it up before they closed down.

Had a pleasurable purchasing experience here, even had to return an item which went smoothly. Make sure to purchase the 15/30 day return option if you buy something that your worried about, otherwise you can;t return it - generally speaking.

I use this store regularly and always have good customer service. I read through some of the comments before deciding to leave one. If you are looking for a chipper cheerleader type greeting (a fake smile and rehearsed lines) when you walk in the door, then you need to go to the mall instead. The staff here are not sparkly but they are polite. They will help you when you ask but they do not have time to hover over you while you look in case you have a question. Also, Jay, I hope you will see this. I do not see how you felt slighted by the staff member questioning your use of your boyfriend's card. I actually praise them for being cautious. It has become rare for cashiers to take the time to look at the card, or even you. As long as it works, they do not care. I believe, at least I hope, you would appreciate their efforts if someone had stolen your card and was attempting to use it there.

Awful, worst consumer experience of my life. I was dealing with a middle aged, short, hispanic woman who I believe is the lead pawnbroker or some other position w/minor authority. While I was trying on jewelry she was somewhat distracted and acted annoyed that I kept trying on more stuff. Then she was looking at my jewelry as if she didn't understand how I would have so much. When making a purchase, I pulled out my boyfriend's debit card and a look crossed her face as if now it makes sense, she's committing credit card fraud. She had already asked for my info(which they shouldn't need to do for a purchase, they don't need an account on everyone) and she smirked blatantly and said this isn't your card. I explained it was my boyfriend's card who was waiting in the car. I said I'd go get him and she smirked big time, and said yeah ok you'll come back sarcastically. I realized she thought I was using a stolen card and was gonna run, so I called my bf. When waiting for him, she asked me for his DOB. I didn't realize why, but told her. She asked him for his ID, and when she had it she began quizzing him on his date of birth, and other info. He was dumbfounded, and I realized she thought he was using someone else's ID and debit card(which is why she asked me to verify his date of birth before he came in). Throughout this process, she was blatantly rude. This was all done for a DEBIT CARD PURCHASE, debit cards don't require ID because there is a PIN number! I allowed her to confirm it wasn't fraud, then took the card back, and I'm so glad I didn't give money to this awful company. I left feeling degraded. For her to be asking me his birthdate before he has entered the store is ludicrous. For her to have his ID and be quizzing him on the info is so insulting. I'm sure she will say she was following procedure, but this was not. She was accusing us of committing fraud, probably because of our young age or something. Or maybe she's so used to dealing with the unethical pawns that she assumes she can treat everyone that way. Horrible, rude woman with awful customer service even before this started happening. Anyone who knows me knows I buy a lot of jewelry, so it's a big loss for them.

The manager has a bad attitude and treats every one like a crack head!! Brought in a $1000 new tool and had nerve to say all I can do is give you $100 . They pray on the week if you not desperate save your self the insult and stay home!!

I bought a roko smart tv in the box for 200$ stored it in storage until my place was remodled plugged it in wont connect to the internet it keeps shutting off and they wont do anything about it they shouldnt be in business ripping people off now im stuck with this tv that doesnt work thanks cash pawn you suck

And they have never turned me down on anything I have taken in there.

DO NOT GO HERE!! The Hispanic lady is rude as heck and is very disrespectful. The last 3 times I've came here to get a pawn loan on something she disrespects me and argues with me about every little thing possible. She should not be working here. She also requires a receipt of purchase for anything which isn't fair. So please don't waste you're time going here with this disrespectful women working here. She also low balls you on everything, I had a brand new iPad Air 3 an she tried offering me 25$ pawn loan. This place is a joke.

I went all over to many pawn shops, and BY FAR THIS WAS THE BEST!!!
I got immediate service, I got the best price for the ring I was selling, in fact Cash America beat every pawn shop in town!! I will ALWAYS go there first, no need to shop around, if you're looking to sell, go to CASH AMERICA!!!!
