This was the first day it was open after being shutdown during COVID-19. The food was good. The server was extremely nice. There was only our table and one other that was occupied which made it feel rather strange. Looking forward to people not being so freaked out about things.

I’ve gone several times to the one in Provo and it’s been excellent. Given the current circumstances with things you’d think people working here would at least TRY to make it good again. Seafood ravioli round 1 came out cold like it had sat on the counter for a good 20 mins. Second time it came out literally only 3 or 4 ravioli on the plate. PEOPLE. Even though there’s a virus doesn’t mean you have to ruin people’s experience! Make regular life and dining good again! Judas Priest it’s not that hard to get things normal again. Won’t be going back for a while. Disappointed

We've been ordering for months at least once a week delivery and have loved the food and service until tonight. We ordered a little after 6 p.m. it was estimated to be delivered about 6:47. Previously they've actually gotten here a couple minutes early - we only live 3 min. away from the restaurant. They didn't arrive with our order until 7:23 - half hour late! We ordered the Feast for Five but when we opened up the sack we only got half the food we've been getting before

Delicious food as usual. The place was empty. Hoping they can make it through these quarantine times. They are definitely taking precautions there..all workers wearing gloves and antibacterial soap up front for patrons.

Good food overall but nothing I've had there so far makes me crave it do bad I have to go back. The bread on the other hand is AMAZING! I love the balsamic olive oil dip that goes with it.

We visited on a very busy night prior and had a bad experience. As a result, to make up for it, Brandi one of the managers made sure we were taken care of. The entire staff went above and beyond to make sure our order was accurate, quickly delivered, and we had one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. Our waiter, Ethan, was amazing and made excellent suggestions, he was very nice and fun. Brandi was excellent and we will be returning on a regular basis! Thank you!!

The service was deplorable. Very SLOW. The bread that we used to really enjoy was like a brick and nasty. The soup was mealy. Not all of the food came out together. One in our party ordered fettuccine Alfredo. Guess their idea of Alfredo is grinding cheese on top of otherwise dry noodles. Not a lick of any sauce. And the server needs some oral hygiene. Her breath was just offensive. We really used to enjoy going there, but I think it’s bye-bye Romano’s Macaroni Grill.

We went out with a few friends and we’re looking for a place to eat and we came across the Macaroni Grill. We made reservations and showed up and were seated immediately at 7:20pm (our reservation was at 7:15) our whole table was there around 7:25pm. We ordered fairly shortly there after, 7:30pm. They brought us the bread which was good. We talked and it was fairly busy but not entirely full inside. Around 8:20pm the manager came back with our food telling the server that our food had been waiting. The food was pretty good. I got the farmhouse which was delicious. My fiancé got the truffle Mac n cheese which for the price. She mentioned that she would have rather had Kraft Mac n cheese. In my opinion, so would I. I got the unlimited soup as well but by the time we had finished our meal everyone was ready to leave, so looks like the restaurant got the better of me that time. Overall mediocre service and food. I don’t think I’ll mention this location if we decide to meat out unless some else does. We’ll just see about coming at a time where we can sit and not be waiting a majority of time waiting for the food to come.

Place was empty when nearby restaurants had 1 hour wait times and no reservations left. Beginning to end, WRONG! Bread was stale, a tiny bit of dressing right out of the bottle for salad kit that had inedible croutons. Lobster bisque was cold and there were two long 3.5" branches in two bowls that were sent back. Something off about it. FOUL. It was bad, so bad! How long did that sit out to make it turn? Lobster? Not in the soup! Stuffed mushrooms were old, shriveled up, crusty, and cold. Were they frozen and then nuked? WHAT WAS IN THE SAUSAGE in the mushrooms?! Shudder. Sent back! Chicken marsala? Definitely microwaved and no question about it. Noodles overcooked mush and was NOT MARSALA sauce. EMBARRASSING from first sight and on! INEDIBLE WASTE! Was the lowest grade chicken there is and was a tough slim sliver of a teriyaki looking piece. SINGLE WORST MARSLA EVER HAD! Pizza cold and burnt with a supermarket frozen pizza grade pepperoni. Procutto was bacon. Pizza was premade before it was ordered and had been sitting out. Nothing was right, NOTHING! MSG. Everything Disgusting. How long did that chicken sit out?! TUMMIES HURT! Same old Macoronni Grill SIGN and definitely not the same Macoroni Grill it once had been a long time ago. This NEW Macoroni Grill has no pride and NO SHAME. Yes, customers can see and taste the slop served and become ill from it. Macoroni Grill may keep the leftovers, there is a lot, and we are not taking that garbage home! HEALTH DEPARTMENT; please INVESTIGATE!!! THERE IS SOMETHING TERRIBLY WRONG HERE! MACORONI GRILL MODEL: Steal the money and turn the table, NEXT! So horrible that it is unethical not to warn you. DO. NOT. GO. HERE!

To me in my opinion I feel like Romanos is a cut above Olive Garden. I like their options and enjoyed their Chicken parmesan and my wife lasagna was really well done. The parmesan was crispy but not overcooked. Just how I like it. The staff attitude was good but I wouldn't say superior but definitely sufficient and the food is what shined through for me. Well done Murray Romanos chefs!

The service was not good: Waiter got our order wrong and got us a Tiramisu to fix it. Waiter claimed to comp our meal, but only comped the meal he screwed up, wow thanks! Food: if you like your food cold, they will be happy to serve it to you. Beverages: don't get thirsty, you might not get a refill, or even an offer!

Got there and waited for a half an hour even tho we had reservations. Finally got seated and had to walk around the entire restaurant because it was so crowded. When we sat down our plates were dirty and DRIPPING wet. Ordered an appetizer that never came. Ordered salad that was lettuce and 3 croutons. Soup was average. Food took an hour and the steak was SOOOOO hard! Even tho i ordered it medium rare. It came out looking like the rarest steak i'd ever seen, yet was impossible to bite into/chew so much so that I ended up choking on it. Finally got our Calamari appetizers (calamari is my favorite food) but this had to have been the worst calamari i've ever had. Service was so awful! So unattentive and oblivious. The people next to us had apparently waited 3 hours to get their food and the waiters kept running into people, crawling under the tables because they were dropping everything (with women in dresses) and dropping plates left and right. The whole experience was just awful. Everything was SO overpriced and this food was just so average for what you pay. 10/10 would not recommend. Save yourself the money and go to Olive Garden.

I used to eat a Ramano's Macaroni Grill often in Dallas, Texas. The 1fourteen years I have been in Utah, I have eaten at the restaurant by Fashion Place Mall, I have eaten there three times. The first three times were ok. Nothing that warranted a frequent visit. For Christmas, one of our relatives gave us a gift card to RMG and I was excited to use it. And so we did. The waiter that took care of us did a pretty decent job, I think he was spread a bit thin covering tables but there were quite a few people there. We ordered a caprese salad for an appetizer. My wife had the Chicken Scaloppine and I had the Mama's Trio with Chicken Parmesan, Lasgne and Fettuccine Alfredo. The Caprese salad was ok. I like the idea that you have big slices of mozzarella and tomato with basil, olive oil and basaltic vinegar. The mozzarella would fall apart and shred and made it hard to get a good fork of ingredients at once. It was a good presentation but maybe thinner slices would work better for this dish. It tasted good but was cumbersome to eat. My wife's plate was hot and she enjoyed her food and it looked good. Our waiter delivers my plate while holding a napkin, warning that the plate was hot. The first thing I noticed is that the fettuccine is cold a dry looking. I touch the plate and it's warm not hot. The lasagne was Warm and the chicken parm was hotter. Nothing had steam coming off of it like my wife's plate but at that point I was really hungry and didn't want to deal with the cooks trying to start over. For a $20 plate, I expect way better. I don't expect food like I would at the restaurant Tuscany but I do expect much better from RMG than what I got. Needless to say, the waiter did really well and everything else needs serious improvement. Unfortunately, the third time was not the charm for me at this restaurant.

The dinner was amazing the service was almost there but they were really busy that night. What ever problem we had they made it right. I will definitely be going again soon thank you.

Terrible. Ordered a grubhub order. Almost $30 for rock hard bread, a salad that contained 10 pieces of lettuce and 4 croutons, cold flavorless pasta. So bad. Will never order again.

That lemon cake is the best cake I have ever had. My in laws and my own mother make killer desserts but that lemon cake they make beats them all. We loved the service. We kept getting refills for bread and drinks. It was amazing.

Not bad. First time here. The complimentary Rosemary Bread they give you is delicious. I ordered the Italian Trio. It was delicious. The waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. I will definitely return and recommend too my friends and family.

One of my favorite places to eat in Salt Lake City, by far. I am known for being a very picky eater and won't experiment much after finding a good selection from any menu. The food here is great and service is almost personal. I have tried numerous dishes from Romano's Macaroni Grill and have never been disappointed. I almost hesitated to write this review because I fear it would encourage others to come and that may dilute the experience. But, it's the right thing to do. I must confess, although I have only recently moved to Salt Lake City from Ann Arbor (great restaurants everywhere), my experience with this chain has been consistent across the country. Continue to do great food and service guys!! Well done.

Chris was amazing! (He was our waiter) Since they don't have a gluten free menu he knew all the tricks about making my meal gluten free. The atmosphere was awesome! Even though it was a busy Saturday night my date and I felt very comfortable and secluded whilst we were in the middle of a bunch of people. Bravo to the staff at Romano's!

The building was interesting. Made me think of an upscale cafeteria. Prices were a bit higher than expected based on the atmosphere and quality of service. Our server forgot several parts of our order. The pasta didn't come with a spoon to twirl. I'm not sure of the proper etiquette, but I do know I've never eaten at a quality Italian restaurant that didn't serve pasta with a twirling spoon.

Christopher was an exceptional server! Very friendly. He recommended balsamic glaze for my pizza which I ended up loving. Our food was brought out so fast! Thanks for making our dinner a great one!

I'm only giving 3 stars cause the food was "eh" but our waiter Dakota was 5/5 stars!! Would go back just for the service no lie! He was great he recommended food and to be honest I probably would have been more disappointed if I got something different! He was prompt and an overall fun guy. Me and the fiance also loved channeling our inner kid with the table cloth you could color on. Good date night made by Dakota!

I remember why we don't come here very often... the bread was delicious, but my entree was burnt and honestly tasted greasy and salty. I was supposed to have mushrooms, I only got two on my plate and one was burnt. Service was very nice

Really disappointed in our Christmas Day dinner. Wait staff and manager were really kind but they seemed to have way too many people and were doing to-go orders while most of the people in the restaurant waited long times for even bread and then meals. We waited over an hour after we ordered meals to get our main course. And we were told this type of thing happens every holiday due to allowing too many reservations. Getting water glasses filled was very slow as well. We were also seated next to the phone which was ringing and ringing constantly and rarely got answered. I ordered the sole which was decent but a bit overladen with sauce. If I had a functional, fun family the wait might not have been so painful :)

Salmon was very good. The orzo/rice dish was not available. It was excellent. Pasta was served this time, not as good. Service good.

We ordered take out on Christmas Day and was quoted a pick up time of 5:10 pm for our online order. When we went in to pick up our food it was mass chaos inside. There was a huge group of people standing by the take out sign and the lady behind the counter kept yelling "moving closer isn't going to make your food be ready faster". I couldn't even believe my ears. We ended up walking away after almost an hour of waiting without our food. This is absolutely ridiculous. If you're going to be open on a Holiday then you should be extra prepared to provide accurate wait times for your take out orders so that customers don't show up and wait at your store for hours. I will NEVER give this restaurant our business again.

I'm so disappointed in the management. It's the holiday and your location is right across the street from a very busy mall and you (the manager) didn't think you'd be busy? What? Is this your first time as a manager? You are packed and you have empty tables that can't be seated because you didn't have enough staff working. Restraunt management 101...be prepared for the holidays!

I've been eating at various Macaroni Grill franchises since the early 90s. Never had a bad meal. This Murray location has excellent service and a genuinely friendly staff. Its our go to spot for everything from weekend brunch, to special occasions, to just having a great dining experience. My highest recommendation!

Had a Christmas dinner party here and the service was terrible! The food was cold and not cooked. It took us 2 hours from when we sat down up until paying for our meal. We ordered as fast as we could. For a group of 10 with only with many empty tables it was so slow. The service and food was so bad we went over to the Cheesecake Factory for dessert.
