I love this place! Such a good selection every time I go (I got some Nike stuff this time that was in amazing condition!!). Great central location, and I can always find parking. Everyone was super helpful, too. 10/10 will be going here again. ❤️

If I could give them negative stars I would. I took in 2 bags of really nice clothes, some even new.there was a nice denium ja ket worth at least $60.Well after waiting about a hour the cleark gave me $9. I was shocked but didn't want to argue with the clerk. I should have taken everything back, but I just left. This place is terrible. I asked the clerk what they do with the items not taken. We donate them just. Yea I can't wait to go back kand see all the clothes selling ...Do not waist your time. Better off donating them....

I have always loved shopping at Uptown and have been to several of their locations. However, it was my first time selling clothes to them and I went to the Murray location. I had 2 Zara tops, several items from H&M, and Lucky Brand and Levi jeans, along with many other clothes. I received $2 for a top I bought from Ross 2 years ago and was told that it was due to them only taking what is “in style.” I feel that emphasis should not be placed on brands on the website but on what dates clothes are from since it seems that is what they are looking for. Which is fine, but I just feel the website is misleading when they say they want name brands and then buy none of it.

Yeah, don't try and sell your clothes here. I brought in around 35 items, clean, good condition, many of them unworn and like new, and included name brands like Pendleton, Banana Republic, American Eagle, Gap, etc. Made the mistake of opting to donate what couldn't be sold, and they told me the could only buy ONE of the items, a Columbia button up, for $2.00 with the excuse that the other items were manufactured too long ago (???) I can understand only buying what you have the prospect of selling, but while I was browsing I saw plenty of items on the racks with holes, stains, and were older than what I brought in, including a white blazer with foundation all over the sleeves!I legitimately feel like I was just taken advantage of so they could get heaps of free inventory.Find a real charity, and donate your clothes there.

Went in to sale some clothes that never were worn, still had the tags on and these were high end name clothes Nike, addidas, under armour, falcom, vans etc.. was told they only would buy a shirt and pants for 10 bucks, but instead of carrying the rest out to my car they will donate the rest. Well comes to find out Tunney only donated the rest with the tags on still to themselves and are now selling the exact same clothes they supposedly couldn't sale. How do I know they are the same clothes? The bar tag on the still on price tags and name brand tag match those on the receipts I still have. What a shady business practice...I didn't know donate means make money off of at someone else's behest. I wouldn't recommend using them any more Platos closet or even the DI will be more up front and honest.

this place suck. I took in 10 pairs of Jordans in boxes. and got 35 bucks a pair. when I was told they would give top dollar if the shoes had boxes. I spent Years collecting the shoes. felt kick hard when I was down.

Never have I been to a thrift clothing store and been told that they can't buy my clothes because they are too nice?!? Crazy. Though their inventory is quite junky. Does not align with their branding, nor the description of what they look for or portray themselves on their website. If you want (or have) really worn out super casual clothes, this is the store for you.

This location has a ton of items to choose from. Prices are really good compared to what you would pay retail. Yes it is a used clothing store, but it is a high quality used clothing stores selling name brand clothes like Nike, Lululemon, Gym Shark, Victoria Secret, etc.

I've frequented the two SLC Uptown Cheapskate locations but had a wonderful experience today that I wanted to share. I've been in dire need for a purple large men's shirt, without a logo, and couldn't find one anywhere. I called Uptown and not only did they have something but they were willing to hold it for me, making my visit really quick and at a third of the price other clothing stores would have charged for a similar shirt.

They have a lot of cute, good quality stuff. But they don’t give you good value for your used clothes. I gave them a lot of very good quality used trendy clothing and they did not take any of it.

Friendly staff. Always have nice brands and clothing in good condition. Also huge plus that it doesn't smell like dirty socks in there like most refinery stores! Lol. Definitely my favorite one.
