Fall is an amazing time to visit. Not crowded, beautiful leaves, great food….little know tip if you’re not a local… in summer and fall you can drive from Big Cottonwood Canyon, over Guardsman Pass and drop down into Deer Valley Resort. Two destinations, for one great day!!

Great outdoor activities, shopping, eating, hiking, mountain biking to skiing or boarding. Some places are a little pricey but what they lack in high prices they make up for with making you happy and full especially if you're eating.

Lots of fun runs way too many people very hard to dodge most of the people when coming down the slopes. Parking was very expensive for a weekday.

Poor signage.
I think they are metering power lifts shut down for no reason. Given the ticket/ pass price not worth it.

Great mountain if you can avoid the crowds. As is the case with all Vail resorts, lift ticket pricing has gotten absurdly expensive so best to plan ahead and buy an Epic pass (Local is the best value imo)

Was insanely crowded and waited in line for hours. Not worth it with the strike. Hopefully it picks back up.

With the extra powder a lot of runs are opening up. The longest line was 3 minutes as of 1/12/2025.
Not a lot of powder to work with, but the next few weeks should continue to get better. Free parking if you carpool, Large lockers = $17, most of the restaurants (Baja Cantina) have food for 2 people for $20, and all the groomed runs were awesome.

extremely long lift lines. not worth it. I don't see any trained ski patrol on the mountain and saw several people get hurt with no one to help them.
