Our mom’s passing was not unexpected but we were still unprepared for the intensity of closing up her life. Walkers led us through every step with genuine compassion and confident know-how. Each member of their team gave attention to our every question, worry, and need. From saying goodbye, announcing the funeral, preparing the video tribute to engraving the headstone and every minute detail in between. Dealing with death is a vulnerable time; we were comforted by walkers watchful care over the public aspect so we could grieve unencumbered. Our family highly recommends!

We couldn’t have asked for better service, professionalism and caring than we did from Walker Mortuary. They made this most difficult time easier to navigate and we felt their caring and concern for our wellbeing. They checked in with myself and other family members during the dressing, viewing, funeral and at the cemetery. Highly recommend!!

We were very pleased with the services provided for my husband, the care given to him and our families. We were very pleased that Steven was able to help us and give us advice on who we should contact in regards to who to contact regarding pensions, social security. He took care of notifying the cemetery in Highland City Cemetery for his internment. Steven was really great with reminding me of what else was needed. He was very polite when conducting and setting up for the funeral. He was very professional in handling my husband’s funeral.

My 86 yr old mother went on hospice after suffering a massive heart attack. Her face was badly bruised from the fall that happened during her attack. Her body had gone through so much. I was very concerned about having an open casket. We had to wait 2 1/2 weeks to have the funeral and the black bruises on my mom’s face did not have time to heal before she passed. Walker funeral home did an exceptional job preparing my mother’s body for viewing. Her make-up covered up the black bruises so beautifully! I was surprised at how life like she looked. Her hair was so pretty. I received many compliments on how beautiful she looked.
Shane was so easy to work with. I had his cell number and could text him anytime with questions or concerns. Walker Funeral Home is a classy place to have a viewing. Our second viewing was at our church. Shane did a beautiful job making the Relief Society Room look nice. I am very happy with the service I received from Walker Funeral Home and would highly recommend them to anyone.
