Came to shop specifically at Aldo and it's not open. It's almost 11a on a Wednesday. 3 people have also come and looked to see that it's not open. I sat for 20 minutes hoping someone would open.

Revised after reading all the bad reviews on this location. Just wow! They might want to consider new staff. I too agree they were not helpful and "bothered by us being there" was the same vibe we got. No one left from behind the counter to assist and There were two sales people there. They spoke but we're definitely not there to sell. As a business owner I would definItely not want this approach to my customers. ?Hello there my daughters and I went into this Aldo location today at the City Creek Shopping Mall in Downtown Salt Lake City. It was a Thursday afternoon. We were shopping for some items and my daughter found a really cute purse that was on sale as well as some other items. When we walked up to the register the cashier said the purse was roughly $10 more than it was marked. I was confused and asked her why. She "oh that's the sale that ended and we forgot to take the labels off. I said oh well darn it. I worked retail for many years and when that happens isn't that usually your bad? You still have to honor the price right? She said nope we just can't change the price. I said hmmm ? well that's funny, isn't that what you just did ??♀️ Anyhoo she was very admanant and we are classy so we just walked away after I bought some anklets. As we walked around the mall which is beautiful and huge the anklet I bought broke ? I was so disappointed in the sales girls attitude and over all lack of customer service that I didn't dare go back to exchange it. I'm not trying to have words with someone who doesn't care about their customers. All I'm saying is Price marked should be priced paid. It doesn't matter if you or your coworkers didn't handle your business. Not sure who the manager is but just a heads up it was 6:30 on Thursday July 6th 2023. Is this your policy? Or is someone not doing their job correctly? Just curious ? I will also be contacting corporate as well. It was a date with my adult daughters. I Will not be shopping here again unless an apology is given and/or the purse ? we wanted is given at the price it was marked with a red tag! Thank you for reading . ?

Call ahead to see if anyone answers. don't waste your time otherwise. The two times I have tried to go this past week no ones there during there business hours. Seems like they are only open when they feel like it. Unreliable.

Absolutely avoid this place. Customer service is horrible. I went in to look for a pair of shoes. The two sales girls were on FaceTime while several customers waiting till they finish the call. They completely ignored the customers and decided to go back to the store and not coming out for 15 min. Lot of upset customers walked out including my self. I’m pretty sure if they don’t change this behavior, this store will go out of business. Which it should if they keep treating customers like garbage

Return policy is Inconsistent. The last pair of shoes I ordered arrived in used condition, and just now I tried to return a purse and because I had removed the tag it was considered used. Also spent an hour at city creek waiting for them to open when they we’re supposed to have beenUpdate: I sent the purse back through the mail and the credit card I purchased it on has changed so now I’m owed 45 dollars and the have no customer service to call (the phones are down?) don’t order online because if you have any issue you’re going to be out of luck

I am very hesitant to write one star reviews. The experience really has to leave a mark. I am not alone in my opinion, just look at the other recent reviews. Their return policy is horrendous (walked around in the shoes for 10 MINUTES at the mall to get a feel for the shoe, could not return because they were “worn”), and their employees are apathetic/indifferent, bordering on rude. They do have a descent shoe on occasion, but the experience just isn’t worth it anymore. Will not return to Aldo and to this location in particular.

This is by far the worst customer experience I have ever received at an Aldo location. I purchased a pair of shoes and tried to break them in three times and received blisters so terribly each time that I went to the doctor. I called and spoke with a manager, I believe her name is Alexis, and was told that I could come in and make an exchange. I am a regular customer and I’ve been helped here before with previous purchases. I drove about 20 miles out on my day off to make this exchange and even called before hand to make sure. When I walked into the store, no employees were in there. And I was finally approached after a few minutes. I was told by two girls working there that they wouldn’t help me. They ignored me and danced around the register. I asked for their names and they read off of a piece of paper and gave me two other employees names. How unprofessional. I’ve never experienced such rude customer service. So so disappointing. The names they gave me were Sadie and Thistcher? I can’t imagine working in retail and hurting your fellow employees by giving their names instead of yours when you are indeed the ones who have messed up.

Let me start saying about the terrible customer service they have, I tried to return $140 boots that when I tried them on at home I realize that the zipper was broken, I have just brought them 24 before I have not worm them.I called the store to see if I can bring them back and return them and the guy who answered my call was very disrespectful saying “Well it is your fault since you bought them like that” this is the worse shoe place ever, please don’t go and buy from them avoid any situation like this.

Found a really cute purse and shoes! But the staff was very rude and they seemed bothered by the fact I even came in, when I purchased my items she didn’t even bother to put my purse in a box or anything it was just in a plastic cover

I do like Aldo shoes but it was pretty inconvenient to try and return w/o my original card. Not my favorite store policy. Miffed enough to give them a 1 star review.
