I agree with all the other unhappy customers of Lowe’s, who parked in an empty parking lot to go to the Bees game and were towed. I will be taking my business to Home Depot or another building supply store. I know it won’t make any difference to their bottom line. We have been shopping at Lowe’s for 22 years, but not anymore.
The towing enforced signs were not at the entrance, to be noticed when entering, but at each exit as you leave. Not noticed when walking, talking and visiting with others in our group.
It was our choice to park there and their choice to enforce the towing. Our choice to do business with other building supply stores.

The person helping me on 7/8/24 was very helpful in deciding what paint I should use for my outdoor wooden shed. I wish I had gotten his name.

Waited 45 minutes to get one piece of wood cut after talking to 3 separate people who said they would be right over. Ended up leaving without having it cut. Will not be returning.

The shopping experience was fine, about the same as any other Lowe's. After getting what I needed, I made the mistake of leaving my car in the lot to go to lunch with my wife in her car. I even moved my car to an empty side of the lot. While I was at lunch, they towed my car from the practically empty lot. To Lowe's management: I hope that extra spot in a nearly empty lot was worth losing another customer. I'll be avoiding this Lowe's and their predatory towing practices.

I'm going to give this place a one star just because their working with a towing company that is ripping people off. 380$ if u park here and walk across the street. I can't believe they left 18 people stranded last week just in one afternoon. Shame on lowes for using these people.

Will not be shopping at this Lowe’s or any Lowe’s for that matter after my experience today. Towed for “parking in a non-designated parking space” when the lines were very much visible after they “attempted to black them out”. $380. Will be taking my Real Estate investment projects spending to Home Depot.
Not to mention, needing to walk in the dark through sketchy alleyways past groups of homeless people to get my car back with my wife was a kind experience.

DO NOT PARK THERE. THE WILL TOW YOU.
Also don’t buy there, they are getting the cut from the towing I guess.

Lowe’s, y’all need to get a life. Stop towing people who park in the corner of your massive unfilled parking lot. Y’all are partnering with a towing company that charges $380 to retrieve your car, if that’s not extortion then I don’t know what is.

Absolutely abysmal customer service when it comes to working on government accounts. I have went there multiple times trying to purchase things for the state only to find that nobody at the customer service counter knows how to do a transaction. I used to come here regularly for my personal purchases. And after the experiences that I've had trying to buy stuff with government accounts.I don't plan on coming back here for anything and I feel sorry for anybody who has to deal with customer service at the store.

DO NOT PARK HERE FOR SALT LAKE BEES GAMES.
Friends brought us to the Bees game last night. We parked at Lowe's, which they'd done before. We returned to find our car towed.
The disappointing part is the experience felt quite deceptive. There were no signs saying 'No event parking.' There was a sign as you enter saying "No overnight parking...towing enforced." Given we would not be parking overnight, there was no indication of no event parking, the lot was 80% empty, and we had parked here before we felt comfortable parking in the lot.
After being towed, we found a smaller sign with the fine print. There was a piece indicating the lot was for customer parking only, but that was one sentence buried in a chunk of text written in a font size that would be impossible to read from inside your vehicle. I think Lowe's 'legally' gave us notice, but it feels deceptive and was not clear.
Several people made this mistake (we walked in a group of 8 people from Lowe's to the towing lot). Most of them had parked here in previous years. At the towing lot, they had a stack of at least 15 tickets of those they had towed. Clearly the communication was poor if so many people made this mistake.
The towing company (Atomic Towing) then gouges you. They upcharge you for using card (as if anyone carries $400 in cash at night on main street). They upcharge you for being "after hours" (as if they didn't plan to tow you and wait up during the game the whole time).
In previous years, fans have parked in the Lowe's lot. If Lowe's goal was to honestly change that policy and prevent spectators from parking in their lot, they'd pay the $20 to buy a No Event Parking sign and put it up at their entrance. The vast majority of folks would respect that. Lowe's did not do this. So clearly the intent is to deceive people and make a quick buck on the towing.
I guess I'll be shopping at Home Depot from now on.

Heads up to anyone who wants to frequent the area. A group of us (about 10-15 cars) parked in the back of the nearly empty Lowe's parking lot since many other lots downtown were full due to an event. The large blue signage posted states "no parking after hours, towing enforced." Our cars were there for maybe an hour and we returned to find all of them gone. It seems Lowe's has hired a predatory towing company to remove cars from their nearly empty lot. I was left walking through downtown side streets, in the dark, past homeless folks, with my wife and small children to find a sketchy fenced lot where I was charged $388 to get my car back. The signage is intentionally misleading. I'm sure Lowe's is aware of what is going on as I'm not the first one to write a review like this. They seem content to let Central Valley Towing of Murray prey on folks.
