I love the South Jordan Chamber. I use many but Shelley and Brian are outstanding. They really do care about the businesses in South Jordan and seeing that they flourish. Great job.

If you are a business owner in South Jordan, you've likely considered joining the Chamber to get your name out there and network. This local chapter is small and developing, which is the perfect time to get started-before it's overwhelmed with lots of people and too busy to give the "little guy" any attention. The staff here are active on social media, responsive to inquiries from non-members about activities and participation and are welcoming to anyone who wants to learn more. Events range from small breakfast "morning mingles" to larger, more elaborate activities such as an 80's themed prom. You'll also find support for new businesses through ribbon cuttings, ground breaking ceremonies and networking events. The location of the office is a little tricky, and some people have a hard time finding it. It's tucked away in the corner of a retail building in the middle of The District with ample parking and signage that can be seen from the parking area.

Edge of your seat. You must be there, to read a review of something so mundane as the courthouse. Well, I hate to disappoint, but things are pretty mundane around this place. Nothing scandalous, nothing TV-worthy, at least that I've ever seen or been involved with. In the course of every day goings on, sometimes you have to go to the courthouse and I'm happy to report there's a district court in the south part of the valley, it's got loads of parking, it's right off of a main road, the facility is perfectly useful, and though I've never had any official business here, I have had to come in to pick something up on an errand and the front end staff have been knowledgeable, and it's been relatively painless. Is it just me, or do you also want to shout "You're out of order!" every time you get near a courthouse? No? Just me? Well, the last time I saw the inside of a courtroom was jury duty a long time ago, and I managed to keep it in. I'm not in a rush to be a regular here, so I think we're safe.

Me and my wife were able to participate as chaperones at the Christmas for kids. These were great young people who were very happy to get some necessities like new shoes and such as well as a few fun things for Christmas. We were just grateful for the opportunity to participate in it.

This review is actually for WEST JORDAN JUSTICE SMALL CLAIMS COURT. Judge Kunz is certainly incompetent and gives the 'justice court' a bad name, definitely not a place for justice. My ex-tenant owed me a debt, clearly proven at the small claims hearing $500 for pet deposit, $185 for cleaning and carpet steaming, $150 for utilities, $120 for late fees, $115 for floor repair, etc....total OVER $900 extenants were asking back for security....guess what he awarded them out of $900 after all their fees/debt owed to me....yep you're right, instead of subtracting those from $900, he added to their request and gave them even more!!! Outrageous judge, can't believe a person like that is allowed to sit on the bench. Guess what i got on my counter claim for having to fly out of state for this outrageous claim (tenants claiming i owe them for her surgery on a 4 year old problem with her shoulder that happened before she even moved in to my place) a big fat ZERO!! This judge does not even understand what a MALICIOUS CLAIM is, he did not make extenants pay filing such bull or return of my $155 court costs to reply to such an outrageous claim. In fact, if these lying manipulating ex-tenants did not file this malicious claim over $5,000 just to harrass me, I wouldn't have even flown to respond for $900 security and waste over $800 on plane tickets and transportation and taking time off 2 jobs. THERE IS NO F_____ JUSTICE AT THIS JUDGE's KUNZ court room, don't even dream of it. My ex-tenants broke my lease, left early, ran 3 businesses at my home, left cleaning, utilities, debt and he held ME responsible for their security deposit (plus more than they even asked because he can't subtract, only add) INCOMPETENT and UNEXCUSABLE!! Because of judges like him our courts are misused and abused by crazy false claims, suing anyone for anything because they get away with it. I've Never seen anything so outrageous EVER! How does one call himself a fair judge after this?? A janitor who does not speak english could render a more educated decision

I wish I could say that I am someone in trouble or that I'm the bad-guy hating the government but my review is neither. There in the 3rd District Courts of West Jordan is an uncontested change in child support that was submitted back in December. Due to errors of this court and their formatting issues, it has finally made it to a Justice's deck to sign. Average signing date once there is 2 days... ours is another 7 days. We have shown to court to say peacefully that we did request this change (Back in MAY 2017). Now his payments will hit him in one lump threatening sum and the kids go without the support needed to provide basic needs. Pro: Someone may answer after 3 consecutive 30 minutes holds Con: The front desk "can't do anything", they mess your documents more than they were before, the error means you pay the cost not them, even with the best cases the wait is a weight the community will bear, 8 months for a child support change that is agreed on, 7 days for a Justice's signature (average is 2 days). This is a sad version of our Utah Justice. I am sorry if you have to come here, I hope you have better luck.
