This is the 12th car I've purchased in my lifetime. I've had many experiences with many different dealers, and this is hands-down the worst experience that I've ever had with a dealership both on the sales side and on the service side.To begin, we were given a deal with a certain down payment and monthly payments which we agreed to on a Saturday. When Tuesday came around and I came to pick up the car, the individual who was to hand me the keys told me that I had to pay over $1000 more towards the down payment if I wanted to take the car. We felt that this practice was extremely deceptive and dishonest, especially after keeping us at the dealership for over seven hours the Saturday before.A few months later, we had an issue with our car that was covered by warranty. My husband goes to bring it in. He appears visibly young, and the service advisor attempted to trick him into thinking that he needed to spend over $900 in order to get this issue fixed. When he put me on the phone with the advisor, the advisor then clarified that the $900 was for recommended service items (On a vehicle we've only owned for three months and had less than 20k miles) He did not clarify this with my husband, and my husband noted that he looked visibly upset when I declined the recommended service items. Then, in a retaliatory effort, the service advisor denied my husband the Uber that Tim Dahle normally offers to customers that service their vehicles there. The advisor told my husband that he had to "Spend money," in order to get the Uber. I should mention that Tim Dahle covered my first oil change completely free of charge...and they called the Uber for me without a single fuss. We felt discriminated against and retaliated against simply because we did not want the recommended service items at the time the advisor coerced my husband to elect.Fast forward about six months, and our vehicle had an issue with water leaking into the interior via the A pillar. We brought our vehicle in, and it sat for several days before the advisor told us that they could not diagnose the problem, and that they wanted us to take the car home for the weekend and try again the next week.We did.Upon bringing the vehicle in a second time, it took them almost a week to "Diagnose" the problem. They ordered parts which took a few more days, and on the day that the parts came in, I received a call from the service advisor stating that either I took the car from the lot without advising them or that they simply lost the car...Neither was true.Thankfully, I have the Nissan app on my phone, and I sounded the panic alarm which I could hear over the phone when I was talking to the service advisor. He corrected himself, and said that they would get to work on the car right away.We then went through a process of several hours where we tried to contact the service advisor to which four times the operator told us that he was either busy or not able to be found. After three promises that he would call us back, I finally got through to him after insisting that I would not hang up until I was in touch with him. When he got on the phone, I found out the reason he had been avoiding us.They had lost my key. They told me to call back the next day to see if they had found it.When I did, they told me that they still didn't have it. One can imagine my frustration with almost all the personnel at this dealership. I finally wrote the general manager an email detailing everything in this review, and I left him a voicemail. 20 minutes after doing this, I get a call back from the service advisor stating that he had the key.fast forward a month later...they never fixed the problem...not to mention that I never had received any sort of apology from the GM regarding his dealership's unethical and discriminatory practices that we have experienced since day one. He did follow up asking me to call him if I needed anything, but that's about it. Never been so battered by a dealership.

Tim DahleI wanted to share my recent exciting experience of purchasing a car for my daughter. Both my wife and I had an incredible time working with Michelle throughout the entire process. From start to finish, it was an easy and hassle-free experience. Michelle was extremely helpful and made the entire journey seamless.I must say, the product itself is fantastic. We are absolutely delighted with our purchase! We cannot thank Michelle enough for her guidance and support. If you're considering buying a vehicle in the future, I highly recommend getting in touch with Michelle. She will undoubtedly make your car purchasing experience a smooth and enjoyable one.Thank you again for the outstanding service.

Before choosing to buy a car at this location for servicing or at any other Tim Dahle branch with the intent to service it here, take careful consideration. Regrettably, my recent encounter at Tim Dahle Southtowne fell short of expectations. Although my initial purchase experience at Tim Dahle in Bountiful was positive, my attempt to schedule an oil change at Southtowne--close to my residence in Lehi--resulted in a frustrating setback.Despite receiving confirmation via email and text for a Saturday appointment, upon arrival, I was informed that no appointment existed. Even after displaying the confirmation messages, the staff hesitated to acknowledge their validity. Eventually, they begrudgingly offered to 'fit me in,' but with a lengthy wait ahead and my limited weekend availability, it was impractical. The lack of regard for customer service and reluctance to prioritize customer needs left me disheartened. It's disappointing that such disrespect overshadowed what should have been a routine service experience. Given this encounter, I find myself preferring the inconvenience of traveling to other locations like Bountiful or Spanish Fork over returning to Tim Dahle Southtowne.

Avoid this dealership at all costs. Upon arriving at the dealership for my scheduled appointment, I was rudely made to wait for an hour and a half in the waiting room without any explanation or update on the status of my car. Despite finally receiving a call, I learned that there was no technician even available to work on my car for the entire day-- resulting in my wasted time and frustration. It was unprofessional and disrespectful to make me wait an hour and a half before even checking if there was a technician in which I HAD SCHEDULED. This was my second time attempting to get my car fixed AGAIN after the check engine light that had prompted my visit persisted even after getting it supposedly fixed at this dealership.Waiting for an excessive amount of time without proper communication is inexcusable, and the fact that my car was not properly fixed further highlights their lack of competence. Rodrigo was responsible for providing assistance with my car. He was unable to describe and explain the issues with my car. There is an extreme lack of transparency and STILL no adequate solutions have been provided. I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed and will not be returning.

I am new to Utah but have gone through the leasing and financing process close to a dozen times and I will admit, Steven and his team at Tim Dahle Nissan made this experience so seamless and enjoyable. Great dealership. Super nice folks. And hands down one of the best experiences I've had, with no gimmicks, hiccups, or hidden fees. Steven went out of his way to pull several additional vehicles up, from the lot, that he thought I may be interest in (mostly combos of the same vehicle) and he nailed it right on the head. Love my new Ariya Engage+

I can't say enough good things about this place to cover it. Every time I come in here everybody is kind and recognizes my car when we pull up. We do truly get VIP treatment everytime and I know my girl is taken care of by the techs in shop. You can watch your vehicle be serviced as you enjoy popcorn and drinks, watch TV or take the kids in the play area as services get taken care of. Services are done quickly and they keep you involved every step of the way. Nobody is pushy for you to buy a vehicle here but they genuinely like to get you in a vehicle that's right for you needs when you're ready for something new. Many extra perks when you come in and I've never been treated as if I don't know my car just for being a woman. Great listeners and people to help out with everything you may want or need. This is the only place I take or ever will take my vehicular baby.

Bryan Grow was fantastic to work with. We had been car shopping for 2 weeks without finding what we were looking for. Bryan was very knowledgeable about different models we wanted to test drive. We ultimately went with an Altima that we fell in love with thanks to Bryan. I had researched how to bargain with the dealership and not be taken advantage of.. I never felt pressured and we are so happy with our purchase and the dealership

We had great experience with Ryan Nicholls over at sales, no pushing, nothing to make you feel uncomfortable, just answering all our questions about the car we wanted. Very pleased.

Ryan was an awesome salesman. Made our purchase such an easy experience. He worked really hard to get us the terms and items that we wanted in the deal. I would and will recommend my friends and family to come get there next car from him!

My experience with Tim Dahle Nissan was extremely frustrating and disappointing. Unfortunately, while they were working on my vehicle, they damaged the trim paneling. However, instead of taking responsibility for their actions, they outright refused to fix the damage. What was even more disheartening was their apparent willingness to lie in order to avoid being held accountable.Based on my personal experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend Tim Dahle Nissan as a reliable service provider for your vehicle. It is essential to choose a dealership that prioritizes customer satisfaction, honesty, and accountability.

I found a Used car (a Tesla model 3) on KSl that was advertised by Tim Dahle Nissan in Murray and wanted to leave a review. After writing it, I realized it was for South Town and not Murray. Seems I cant remove it so I will keep it explaining it is in fact for Murray location, not Southtown.... One of the things that attracted me to Tim Dahle Nissan Murray was it promised a "Forever Warranty" in the add. I spoke to a salesman on the phone making an appointment to see the car within twenty minutes of the call. When I got to the dealership there were other people test driving the car I had made arrangements to see. I was allowed to test drive the car while the other people were at the table to negotiate purchase of the car, I thought the situation was rather unprofessional. After test driving the car I had the appointment for as well as a couple others, I decided purchase the Tesla I came to see first. I was offered financing that didn't make sense as the payment was about $200 higher than it should have been considering the sale price interest rate license tax length of loan, I pointed out what I had calculated and how. I was told that they had added in fees that would be to my benefit. The junk fees were taken out and the number matched what I expected almost exactly. A sleezzzy little man came out of his office approached me and asked how long I expected to keep the car. I responded with, "why do you ask?" he said he wanted to work up a warranty for me. I told him I was not interested in a warranty through the dealership as the Tesla was under its own warranty and he scurried back to his office. The time came to meet with the sleezzzy little man (finance manager) to close the deal, he had worked up all the "rip off" products one could imagine and I turned them down one by one. This man was the most belittling and narcissistic little man I have ever met, and less than two minutes into the meeting he said to me, "Your hilarious"! in his snarkey little way, I answered with "F-U" and walked out. The sales manager followed me outside to try to save the deal by getting me to another finance manager which was set up for a couple days later. I was told that the "forever warranty" didn't apply to that car which clearly was a bait tactic by the dealership. Looking back, I wish I would have kept walking and purchased another car somewhere else, I wont be back to ANY Tim Dahle dealership ever! I highly recommend the Tesla Model 3 though!!

I would avoid this dealership if you can, especially if you need any kind of service on your vehicle. This has been a particularly poor experience for our family. I bought a brand new Platinum Pathfinder and got the warranty package to ensure I would be taken care of at any dealership. Basically the car already has issues and it's not even over 15k miles. There were 3 issues (gas pump, sensor issue, and a broken clip on the dashboard) Here are just some of the issues I ran into working with this team: -The service manager gave me pushback on getting me a rental even though it's clearly in the service level I paid for. He was really rude and spoke without actually even having all the details. -The service manager gave me a hard time for "going over his head" to get help on above rental and told me I didn't need to do that. -The gas pump on my brand new car was bad and on back order. When I finally was able to get a clear answer on a rental, I had the rental for weeks which was fine. I understood it was on backorder. I was instructed to have the car back to the dealer the day the gas pump came in. The service manager notified me an hour before close when I was 4 hours out of town via text. When I tried to call and notify him I was out of town and wouldn't be able to get the rental back due to the short notice on his end he became incredibly defensive and told me he figured I'd just be happy that the car was running again, and then belittled my concern about his late notice on the car being fixed, he was incredibly condescending and sarcastically "assured" me that I wouldn't be charged for the extra days on the rental-When we got there to pick up my car (they had my car for over 3 weeks), they had ONLY fixed the gas pump, not the sensor or the clip. When questioned, the service manager said "Well we did get it running" he did apologize about the other issues, but didn't offer for us to keep our rental or anything. It felt like I was dealing with a lost personI who was just staring at me and my husband. He offered no explanation and refused to get someone to help us who actually knew what was going on with our car. -Since we'd already returned the rental, the service manager said we could bring it back that week and they'd promise to fix day of, we dropped it off on a Thursday and by Monday it was still not fixed. We didn't have a car because we'd returned the rental and there was no help from the service team to get us another rental due to their mess up.-The Service manager was rude multiple times, he genuinely seemed to lack any training or understanding on what he to do, or even how to speak to customers, and he even mocked my husband this morning when my husband said we were taking the car back so we could bring it elsewhere he said "well I'm not holding your car hostage or anything" with literally zero acknowledgement of the many issues we've had with them. -I remember at one point, he was so rude to me, I basically just stopped talking because I honestly felt stupid for trying to express my concerns. -The "loyalty" manager asked if I wanted to leave feedback and I tried to call her, she never called me back. -One time we went in and it just seemed like no one ever knows what's going on, they couldn't find our keys, there was just a general "confusion" across the entire team. I will say there was one woman in sales and the folks in the rental department were nice and seemed like they knew what was going on. All in all, this was a terrible experience and I absolutely regret spending the amount of money I did on a new Pathfinder. I will never purchase a Nissan again, and I certainly will not be returning to this dealership.

Tim Dahle Nissan Southtowne hit it out of the park again. This is my second time purchasing a vehicle from them and I have personally have had an amazing experience every time I come in. I highly recommend this company to all my family in friends. This time I had the pleasure of being help by Jack who was so welcoming and really focused on my wants and needs when helping me find the perfect vehicle. He was also there to answer every serious and silly question I had without any hesitation. Thanks for another great experience!

Came away from our experience with a bad taste in our mouth. The added hidden fees they piled on were ridiculous. We were talked into financing the car when we would have preferred to pay cash, and not really given any information on what the pricing would have looked like for both options. The financing person talked about added warranties and other benefits like they were included with the sale of the car; he did not make clear that all of these wonderful benefits were extra charges. He pointed out the base price of the car with the taxes & basic fees added in, but never showed us the final cost of the car. Luckily, we reviewed the paperwork the minute we got home and noticed that we were paying $5,000 more than we had anticipated! We called immediately and got most of the optional charges removed, but still have not seen the updated paperwork almost two weeks later. Some charges that were listed as optional we were informed were standard procedure and couldn’t be removed. When we were given the car to drive off the lot, it only came with one key fob, and when we checked for the owners manual that was missing also. We called the dealership and were informed that we would have to purchase a second fob and a manual for ourselves. We should have been more informed buyers and pushed for more details upfront, but every step of the process has just felt a little shady. I would not buy from this dealership again.

The process of choosing a car was easy. The process of going through the financial transaction was miserable. I won't ever look at buying a car from a Tim Dahle dealership ever again. My father-in-law was ready to pay cash but was encouraged to finance the car because the dealership is incentivived by banks. In fact, the price of the car would be $2,000 higher if he didn't finance it. They told him to make 6 payments and then pay it off, which I've heard from several other dealerships.Went to sign paperwork, and they inserted damn near every fee ever invented by car dealerships. Of course, they work the warranty, car protection, gap insurance, and oil changes into the monthly payment to hide the cost. Why would the finance guy add gap insurance when he knew the customer was capable of paying cash??The dealer doc fee is $200 higher than anywhere else. The APR imposed by the finance guy was almost 9% (of course, on a 72-month loan to maximize interest cost). My father-in-law has excellent credit, and if he really wanted to finance the car, he could get a little over 6%.All around, it felt like a shady under-handed car buying experience.
