Great location, clean rooms, and pleasant staff. A wonderful value compared to competitors. Understand you get a full hot breakfast including drink from Porters restaurant next door. Based on menu prices in a tourist meca that's worth $20 a person. It's an old style motel, but rooms have been updated.
N.B...to those that complain about no hot water, there is plenty. Basically operator error to those that complain. The valve may be reversed hot is cold and vice-versa...figure it out people!!

Very dirty room. Possibly the worst we’ve ever stayed at. Moldy, musty smell throughout. One of the rooms didn’t have any a/c. TV was a joke— smaller than a computer monitor. Internet was super slow. Shower was so terrible that we left without using it and showered at the next hotel. Bathroom was dirty. Floors were so disgusting that my son was afraid to kneel down while getting stuff out of his suitcase. Moldy smell was so overpowering that we had to sleep with the windows open. To top it off, there were no smoke detectors in the room. Fortunately we always travel with our own, just in case. Definitely stay at any other hotel in the area!

Best location to Zion Park, free shuttle bus right outside. Beautiful views, quiet neighborhood. A restaurant with delicious food is across the street.

The location is the best part of this motel, but our room was reaaally dusty/dirty and is in need of updating. We only had breakfast one day because it didn’t start until 7am and we were up and out ahead of that the other days, the breakfast was lovely, but this wasn’t actually on site, it was at the breakfast spot next door.

The room was clean, they made my bed and replenished everything, every day. The location was great. I was able to walk to get meals and catch shuttle to get to where I need to go.

It's an older hotel but it was a great place to stay. I strongly recommend it. It was clean and in a convenient location.

Nostalgic little motel in the most convenient location for visiting Zion! The rooms are a tad dated, but very clean, charming, and comfortable. Pool, location and price are a huge plus.

We returned after a good experience 13 years ago and were not disappointed. The staff is very friendly and super helpful. The rooms and other facilities are very clean and maintained. There is a swimming pool, which is wonderful after an active day.
Rooms: Rooms are spacious and super clean. Hats off to the housekeeping. You park right in front of your room.
Walkability: Bus stops in front of the door and groceries within walking distance
Food & drinks: Included are vouchers for breakfast at the restaurant next door. Furthermore, several pri.a eateries within walking distance.

I love Zion Park Motel and am so glad I got to return there a second time. I stayed with my then boyfriend 15 years ago and loved it. I returned with my now husband and 3 kids, and it was just so nice to be back. We all loved getting up early, doing a cool morning hike, and relaxing in the lovely pool in the afternoon. The kids loved the slide, and we appreciated the pool noodles provided.
Amazing value with the breakfast included at Porter's. Adorable playground and pavilion. Fantastic location, great for a hot summer afternoon stroll. Rooms were a nice cool relief to the hot summer sun.
Hope it stays this way so we can come back again and make more memories❤️

Can a motel be more perfect? It has parking in front of your doors so you don’t need to carry your luggage anywhere far. It provides you a breakfast in the restaurant next doors. It has laundry machines, shops and ice cream in the same building. The location is just incredible and close to the shuttle bus. It has a nice swimming pool with a small slide and playground for your kids. I’m so impressed!

I stayed at the Zion Park Motel on Monday, July 8th, 9th and 10th, checked out July 11th, 2024. I highly recommend choosing the Zion Park Motel for its location, cleanliness, breakfast, excellent free wifi, and good value. If you are looking for a family owned, well maintained hotel/motel with great amenities then choose the Zion Park Motel.
More information...
The Zion Park Motel is on the free Shuttle route to/from Zion National Park, and actually walking distance as it is just about a mile to the entrance. It is located next to and near places to get food, gifts and do laundry. There is parking for your car right outside your room door, and a cute pool and poolside seating area. The reception area is just the right size for the helpful and friendly staff to help with check in and to answer questions/provide information.
I booked a room with two queen beds which included free (fast) wifi, a TV, microwave, small refridgerator, and a full bathroom. There was also a small table with two chairs, along with a bedside nightstand. The large shower had excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning worked well which was appreciated because the daytime tempuratures exceeded 100 degrees while I was visiting Zion National Park.
I was impressed with the free breakfast provided daily. The Zion Park Motel provides registered guests with a breakfast meal voucher to use at an excellent restaurant located next door called Porter's. Porter's food and staff were wonderful and a great way to start the day before heading to Zion (on the free Shuttle) to hike and explore. I enjoyed the omlettes and coffee, and left full enough to skip lunch each day. The only cost was my tip for the waitstaff.
Again, I highly recommend the Zion Park Motel!
Safety: I felt very safe in my room, leaving my car in the parking area, and leaving my possessions in my room. This is a small Motel with the Registration/Reception Office at the top of the driveway into the parking area, so the staff notice traffic in the entering and leaving the Motel and parking area. The parking area is also well lighted.
Walkability: The Zion Park Motel is located so that you do not need your car. You can catch the free Zion National Park shuttle to/from the Park, and also around Springdale. There are plenty of places to eat, shop and even do laundry nearby the Motel. I only used my car to attend an evening Ranger Program at Zion National Park, although I could have walked as the Park is only a mile away.
Noteworthy details: I feel the free breakfast provided at Porter's Restaurant, located directly next door, is a noteworthy detail. The breakfast was anything I wanted off the menu, no restrictions. The food was great and service quick and efficient.

Perfect experience! From checking in to parking our car there for the next days hike.
Reserved parking right out front of each rooms makes this amazing for an overlanders refresh. The pool was also a welcome sight after a week in the desert. Just wish they offered a late checkout.
Rooms: good bed and working AC

The entire staff was wonderful! They were knowledge regarding the park. The office staff who checked us in, knew what was closed, what was the best trails, and hidden secrets.
The rooms were clean, roomy and sound proof. The air conditioning was perfect, not noisy, clicking on and off or any other annoying noises.
The swim pool was perfect temperature and all 3 of my teenagers enjoyed the slide.
The motel was perfectly placed for the shuttle to Zion, for meals, for shopping for laundry (the laundromat was clean), for everything.
The breakfast was amazing.
We can't give this place high enough praise.
Rooms: Clean, roomy, sound proof, gid water pressure, plenty of hot water.
Nearby activities: Zion NP is why you would be there.
Safety: We felt very safe. You can see all around.
Walkability: You can wall to ice cream shops, shopping and the shuttle service to Zion.
Food & drinks: The included breakfast was great food. Large portions (we had 2 teenage boys). Everything we tried over the 3 days was excellent.
