I'm not terribly versed in retail shopping, or the experience of other home Depot stores, but I can't imagine this one receiving top marks from many people. I recently started a job that requires some new tools and things that I not only do not own, but have little experience using. So, out of curiosity, I suppose I do spend a lengthier amount of time looking at and reading up on the things I'm looking for. The last two times I've gone shopping here, I've walked right next to, past and in front of multiple employees; none of whom bother to ask if I may need any help. What I *do* get is glares and stares, like I'm doing something wrong.. One woman, an employee, was actually being incredibly obvious she was watching and following me for quite some time. I finally asked HER what was going on, did I seem familiar or something? To which, she replied, 'just making sure you're not stealing anything' in a huff, and walked off. Incredibly flustered, don't even know what else to say other than I can only hope I don't need any more new tools the next little while or maybe I'll have to drive out of my way to a different store, to not be mistreated by an incredibly rude, disrespectful assumptive 'Karen' working at this store

i don't care too much about home depot, but a guy here named don helped me solve my deadbolt lock problems, rekeyed a new lock to match my current key. very nice. probably saved me a hundred bucks. 10/10 thanks don

This is my store!!! I'm always pleased when I come in here and I spend lots of money (by choice cause their selection is fantastic and their prices can't be beat). 11/12/22 was by far the best experience I've had yet. I was walking in with some boards to be cut and Trevor saw me carrying them in and immediately asked if I needed them cut. I indeed need them cut and he had me in and out in minutes. Thank you Trevor.

Update: needed to get some boards cut. Went after work and had a great experience. Didn't have to wait long, employees were helpful and polite.Original: Negative experience asking about price matching. Was treated poorly. Seems price matching policies vary from store to store.

This Home Depot, like most of them, stocks your typical home repair, maintenance and building supplies. It's an older location, and it's age shows.Home Depot is Home Depot, the question of whether or not it is a good one is about service and employee knowledge. This location is pretty good, I've seen some better and some worse, but overall, the staff seems pretty knowledgeable and helpful.Home Depot is always better than Lowes when it comes to the number of staff on the floor as well as their general knowledge with that they have. A great number of times I've had the employees at Home Depot help me in designing projects and often they've given me better ideas on how to do it. Yeah, sometimes you get the employee that doesn't know the difference between a wrench and a screwdriver, but they are usually pretty good.Docked a star for worn look and cleanliness.

Whatever you do don't buy appliances from this store. Go to Lowes instead. Usually, we are very happy with the customer service at Home Depot. However, we recently purchased a freezer, stove, and dishwasher. The delivery company came. The men put the freezer in its designated spot. (The stove was delivered and installed last week.) The dishwasher was set in my dining room and left without being installed. They said we had to set up an appointment with Home Depot to have a plummer come and install it. This is something that we were NEVER made aware of. Now we get to have an unusable dishwasher sitting in the way for another week and they didn't take the old one(which we paid to have removed.) We would have made these arrangements when we made the purchase had we had known. Now we are going to miss more work and be inconvenienced all because of the incompetence of their sales staff. Not only that but the delivery driver chipped our counter and gouged the floor. He didn't care, had an attitude and told us it was old and didn't matter. I guess quality and good customer service is no longer a priority for Home Depot. We never had such bad service.

I'm so happy about my recent experience here. I'm needing carpet for a room in our basement and have been shopping around for prices. Home Depot is so far the cheapest and the service has been wonderful. I went into the stored and picked out a carpet for an estimate and scheduled an appointment for measure. The employees were all super professional! I'm going to end up going with Home Depot since the price is so good and the wait it's about 10 days compared to the other companies.

I only come to this location to see the head cashier at self checkout, her name is Clarissa (I hope I spelled it correctly) and I personally know she's the store's best employee! She's always smiling & happy it's contagious! She is willing to help customer as well as the other cashier's that work in that area even if she has a ton of her own work to get donw. Her laugh is contagious and one you'll never forget! It always made me smile when I heard it! During one of my shifts when I worked there I had one of the worst days of my life happen. I was so emotional I couldn't help anyone without bursting into tears & felt like no one cared even after talking to my direct supervisor. On my way to the break room our paths crossed she stopped me & looked me in the eyes & told me without knowing what happened that I am strong, smart, and that I was needed, and to not give up because she cared!!! I could see it in her eyes and hear it in her voice that she truly meant it! I needed to hear those words from someone that was being sincere & truly cared about me. She saved my life that day and I don't think I ever told her that! She will always hold a special place in my heart! She is the best human I have ever had the opportunity to know. I could honestly go on for days about this woman and how much she's helped me emotionally, mentally, and helper me become the women I am today that knows she's beautiful and can do anything I want to do as long as I believe in me! I envy her confidence and her ability to connect with people in ways that can change their perspective on life! I love and miss you so much lady, I hope you are doing well!!! So please everyone that goes into this store and sees her be kind and tell her how amazing she is!I do want to let you all know why I parted ways with the company, it was due to almost all of higher management staff and their lack of caring about you as a person and not listening to feedback and only looking at you as numbers and how many customers the store might lose if I had to leave early. Not one manager understands mental health and how it plays a huge role in how you preform at work when you're not having a good day.. I felt as if they thought I 2as using it as an excuse to not come in or have to leave early. More training is needed in that area for them if they want to keep good employees. Again this is just my opinion and don't forget everyone is entitled to their own.

We got to the store and we needed turf. They did not have enough turf that we needed and normally the employees just tell us they don't have enough and leave it at that. Today we were treated to a nice surprise by Millie. Not only did she ask us if she wanted us to call different stores to see who would have the turf we wanted but she made the call for us and confirm that they had two roles in riverton. We are headed there now thanks to her. We are very appreciative of her customer service and hope that this is what every other employee would mold their work ethic after. Thank you so much for today Millie. I would recommend her store and her customer service to anyone that I come across.

I’ve never had a bad experience at a Home Depot before coming to this location. This was my second bad experience there. I spent TWO HOURS getting my paint order FORGOTTEN over and over, or incorrectly mixed. I was ignored when making attempts to check up on it. While I waited, I was looking for other products I needed in the paint section, but since the employees running the paint desk were too slammed to help me I asked another employee walking by for help. he told me no because it wasn’t his department, and walked away. When I finally got my paint back no one apologized for the delay. There were two other women waiting with me who were also upset. I almost broke down a couple times and have never left a store feeling so invisible and upset and just wanting to go home. Won’t be revisiting the West Jordan Home Depot anytime soon.

Home Depot, as a brand, has so many great things. The West Jordan branch (store #4410), however, does not. The sales staff might as well work at a used car lot with as many lies as they tell.
We purchased a washer and Dryer from Russ (an overly dramatic salesman who said whatever we wanted to hear). We had a very specific window that we needed the product in, and as such, were limited to in-stock merchandise only. He assured us that he would have it delivered right in that time frame. He even told us exactly when we would receive a phone call to confirm the window.
A few days later, no phone call came to confirm the next days appointment. The next morning, at 7:15 a.m. an un-named delivery person texts (no call) to say that they were on their way and would be there soon. They arrived 2 hours earlier than our very specific window. His message was responded to immediately letting him know that would not work- no response. The installers then call, rang once, and then hung up. I called the number back- no response. I called again a little later- no response.
Several hours later I called the local store and was hung up on twice. Finally I was passed to Maggie's voicemail. Later that afternoon I was called by Taylor about the delivery. He then proceeded to do absolutely nothing about the situation, only responding that the 4 hour window was the best that they could do, and he didn't care that the salesman (Russ) had lied through his teeth about accommodating our needs.
Now we wait for our refund, which Taylor had indicated was already being processed. However, the email I received said that they just rescheduled it, rather than refunding it. Again, more lies from the staff.
The staff here has no sense of customer service. They have no respect for your time. They are condescending, rude, and poor brand ambassadors for Home Depot. In an area so highly saturated with shopping options I would encourage you to shop anywhere else.

We had the best customer service here. They helped us with everything we needed to find. They went out of there way to help us too. I would recommend anyone to shop here. It’s like the Chick-fil-A of home improvement stores!!!
