Store #550 on 7812 so. highlands loops road west jordan,I stopped in to get gas 9/11/2023 approx 5;00 pm unloaded 4 gas cans put my credit card in pump screen said to see cashier, walked into store no one waiting at the counter believe name of employee name was "Carson," i asked him to reset pump so my card would work in it told me to see other counter person i asked other person to set gas pump so my card would work in it , 2 other cars on gas island swiped their cards and pumps worked, prior employee told me qoute, " watch it", i said what ??, he told me he could refuse service to me if he wanted too !! why do you have a employee working there with a attitude like this ?, the female employee then told me i had to leave my credit card she would give me receipt with code then come back in store to charge my card ,again i asked to have pump reset so i could use my card on the pump , again other male employee Then told me he would call the police . this is treatment i get for stopping at your store for gas ??? as many fraudulent claims made on credit cards why should i leave mine to sit on a counter were other customers can see it or even you employee copying my numbers and security code on card ? And why did they not reset pump from prior use is that not their job? and refuse to do it when i asked ? Are the pumps not out there with card readers on them so your customers do not have to walk back and forth 3 times and expose their credit card info at risk by leaving it on a counter in store !!! i loaded up my empty gas cans and left went to maverick store on 90th south 5600 west unloaded my cans swiped my card on pump and it worked fine !! filled my cans and left , i will not go to your store on 7800 south and 6000 west again and i encourage other people to get gas some where else !! i will be filling a complaint with maverick corp ! also your employee tried to hide from getting his photo being taken for this complaint !!

Gas pumps are consistently crap. Can't just pay for it at the pump like a normal gas station. Have to see the cashier and get a magic code, and then hope you're in front of a pump where the keypad will work.

Day at Saturday, October 1st 1:40 am I’m send this email 6 to 10 mins from the hatful passive aggression to an young smart mixed racial group of teen, at the maverick at 7812 highlands loop Ed, West Jordan Utah 84081The worker in question is a white male around his 30's + working the grave shift,I have a couple of run in with him as I would enter, weeks ago I had entered the store with an Mexican friend of mine doing our normal shopping as where any other store I can feel safe and I know I wouldn’t be judge of my clothing and my skin color. He would repeat stare at us following our every movement and get desperate of us having a conversation of ourself and repeat to follow us and as well watch everything we do, I didn’t report this because this was just the normal reality I face as I colored person ,On October 1 Saturday 1:40Me an ( Dominican/ Mexican) adult of 19Two kids of Mexican race we went to the store, starting off he had come off with an negative of introduction of himself but we couldn’t hear him because he was far away from us after we begin to shop as we are shopping we are talking enjoying our night as young men I left three drink I was going to buy because I work for my money and I’m not the stereotype he is trying to place on me, as I’m buying my sweets for the night he takes my drink I had place on the rack and put all back, I seen the action and went to get my drinks again, as I went to get my drink he had put back without notifying me about, he confronts us saying "I know what you are doing" "you better stop and get out “I got my stuff back and spoke my mind of his horrible mindset and him labeling as a thief as I am not. I pleased beg to have to showed what his horrible mindset is and how me as I person of color don’t feel safe entering that store because I have no idea what issue might being me or how he can already break down more my confidence as a color person. I don’t want to return again with him at the present

This Maverick feels conveniently located. It's been pretty clean each time I've been in there. The workers have been nice enough. I like the Maverick brand and they have some good deals going on, especially in the summer. Watch for the 99 cent F'real Fridays!

There's a disrespectful chick in there named Luranna whom I saw treat another employee with such disrespect that I wanted to deck her teeth in,but other than that it's ok I guess won't stop here on her shift if it can be helped....

Worst experience!! I came to get gas. When I was filling up the nozzle kept stopping, so I stood there and kept having to start it. I got annoyed and only put $10 of gas in my car. When I drive away, I noticed my tank did not fill at all. I have a Prius and it usually takes $20-$25 to fill the entire tank so I expected it to be at least a third full. I didn’t give me any gas! I went in to talk to the employees. They had an older looking man come over. I think he was the manager. I explained what had happened and he was extremely rude! He said things like “well it was only 2-3 gallons what will that even do?” I explained that my tank only holds 10 gallons. He began to tell me I am wrong and my tank doesn’t hold that much! He told me the transaction went through, so I am wrong! He said he can’t do anything for me, and if I have a real problem to come the next day and talk to amber. He was extremely rude and disrespectful , and left me leaving the gas station furious!

This is a follow up of my previous review. I emailed the corporate office customer service and in their response they justified the $150.00 hold on my debit card for a $23.00 purchase. $150.00 hold on a person's card is absolutely ridiculous, for some that is groceries that have to be put on hold, luckily I don't live paycheck to paycheck but it's the principle of the fact. I responded with intent to get something done about the manager's attitude, I have NOT heard back. I am a maverik rewards member but I will take my business somewhere else!

I pretty much exclusively go to Maverik gas stations, at this one the gas dropped my cars mileage. A lot. Plus the bathrooms aren't the cleanest and the food was lame compared to other locations.
