I went there tonight to return a few items and buy new items and the night manager that was there was completely completely disrespectful and not helpful at ALL. She gave me attitude beyond bad attitude I will NEVER shop at this store again! Didn’t even help me at all! I left there upset and mad!

I went here to get a gift and the worker forced me to give her my name, number, and email if I wanted a receipt. It then asked me to accept the rewards terms which again I said I did not want to sign up for any rewards because I don’t shop here often enough. She insisted if I wanted to purchase and get a receipt I had to. I called another Carter’s afterward and they said No, that it was not required to give them any info or sign up for rewards if I want a receipt. Looking at a prior review it looks like this location needs to learn customer service. I don’t always think the customer is right but I don’t also think it’s right to force them into signing up for company offers and give personal information just to purchase from them.

Never at this location again.I have been shopping at Carter’s for over 2 years. 99% of my kids clothes are from Carter’s. I like to shop online cause I very rarely have time to go to a physical location. But I usually make my returns in store. We have moved a couple times in the past 2 years in 2 different states, so I have made returns in multiple locations over this timeframe. I always ask for store credit when I make my returns, and they’ve always been able to give me a gift card, put a sticker on it with the amount I have on the card. I have even done this once in the past on this location.I came in today to make a return. I didn’t bring my credit card cause, like always, I just get store credit. But somehow the manager said it can’t be done. In her words “we never give gift cards for returns”. Uhhmm, what about the countless of times I’ve done it in the past?? I was forced to make an exchange. I had to shop for the exact amount I had in my return. I have an account with them, but she can’t put it in my account either. The only way to make a return, according to her, is to have the card I used for payment or make an exchange. That’s the only way. Really? Every major company I know always allow store credit, but not Carter’s if you ask her.I was forced to shop really quickly for over $100 worth of items in order to get my money back. I know for a fact that they can do it. She just doesn’t know how and make these statements as if they were facts. She needs lessons on how to do it! She’s not fit to be a manager.Never coming back to this location again!

The management of this particular branch needs to take some remedial classes on customer service. When attempting to exchange some clothes from a baby shower that were too small, the manager lost her cool and became a total Karen. She got extremely rude about clothes that were Carter's brand, but were apparently not bought from a Carter's store, venomously calling the clothes "from WAL-mart", clearly looking down her nose at people who might shop there. Worse, when the employee was asked to re-fold the garment she had unfolded that they would not accept, the manager butted in to say that they don't know how "WAL-mart" folds their clothes.Being treated in such a shabby and unprofessional manner has completely soured my outlook on the whole brand, frankly.

We had the BEST experience here with one of the store associates- Chrissy. She went above snd beyond to help us find the sizes we needed, and order us (with free shipping!) the sizes they didn’t have in stock! The store is clean, easy to find things, and an overall great experience! Thank you Chrissy!

I went to the store of West Valley Utah.A lady named Christel helped me out or should I said ruin my experience in this store ? I went to exchange and purchased some new stuff. while in the store Christel was very rude about the whole process. I was in the store doing an exchange so I could take advantage of offer they had. A previous employee had told me this was something I could do. Christel was very rude when I explained this to her and she made it seem like I was doing something wrong when I was just following the advice given. Feeling frustrated I just decided to exchange my things and leave. After driving 30 mins to home with my baby I noticed that she put the same size I took in to return. I’m sure most people reading a review for this type of store can relate to the extra time and planning it takes to make these kind of trips with a 5 month old baby when you are alone. While I was frustrated I rushed to make it back to the store before they closed. When I arrived I purposely went to the line of a different employee because I didn’t want to receive the same customer service. Christal switched with the other employee so she could “help” me. I was hopeful that maybe she wanted to explain it was an honest mistake. In an obvious attempt to antagonize me I explained that she gave me the wrong item that I had tried to return earlier and this made me drive all the way back with a fussy tired baby that needed rest. “ I made you drive?” Was her reply. Why would I take the clothes I was exchanging? Not to mention I didn’t even put the items In the bag. Then as she was checking me out she purposely held up the items in front of everyone and said “ these are the items you want correct? She said this three times than said “just do we are clear, you want these sizes 9 and 12.” I don’t expect people to cater to my every wish but I do believe there is a certain level of respect everyone deserves. At a minimum no effort should be made to switch with an employee so you can purposely confront and antagonize the customer about a mistake you made while belittling and deflecting any fault. I will never go to this location again. If you do expect inconsistent information from employees that also want to antagonize you and go out of there way to do so. of others. I gave u the size you wanted. People like this should not being working in a babies store. If you are not happy with yourself than stay home!

Today I went in with my toddler in tow. I needed to exchange some items and bought a few things also.. the ladies were great! They got me out the door as fast as they could, with my misbehaving toddler, it makes a huge impact on a mama when they can do that! Thanks again ladies for the great service and patience!

I tried to go today at 6:20 PM and the doors were already locked. According to Google and the sign on their door, they do not close until 7 PM on Saturdays. The lady inside walked over and looked at me then just turned around and walked away. Super disappointed.
