Everybody we came in contact with was really nice with our puppies. Dr. Cote, the veterinarian, was very knowledgeable and caring. Would highly recommend.

Be cautious adopting animals from here. They will lie about their medical conditions. I adopted a cat and specifically asked about her teeth because she came from a neglectful home and staff told me there was no issues. At her follow up vet appointment they told me some teeth will need to be extracted, which is very expensive. I reached out to this place for help because they lied to me and all the help they could offer was to take my cat back.

Had 2 kittens spayed here 6/17/24. They were not given any pain meds and have been extremely ill. Had to bring to emergency vet care because one cat was in agony. They both had their tracheas damaged. They pretty much tell you they aren't responsible for issues after and if animals have issues to call VESH. Be prepared to pay money to correct issue. Very disappointing. We took in strays and needed a budget friendly option and have now exceeded that. Lesson learned.
Update: we lost one of our kittens from a spay procedure here. The other kitten is getting emergency care at VESH. After attempts to get help from humane society, no one still has called us back. They don't check up even after the procedure.

I'm not happy because I was not called about the big delay until I went to pick up my female cat. I was told to bring her in at 8am for her surgery. I came to pick her up and they were just putting her on the table. The delay was they had to do all the dogs first. I was first to have my cat in. Maybe they should think about having 2 separate days or do dogs and cats one on a Tues in one week and the next Tues be for cats. I watch a few ppl walk out and discuss cuz now they have to wait. I guess we don't get a choice to rate or not? The rate I put on here doesn't deserve it. Oh by the way.my Cat is all freaked out now. Thanks

I'm here reviewing the Barn Cat Placement Program.
Skitty, previously Boots, was an indoor feral with hiding instincts.... and today she claimed her throne in the Hoomin living room and allowed the Press to photograph her highness for the first time ever.
This ended up being a happy placement of this particular cat, from a confusing previous life . Im very thankful.
Never underestimate ferals, no matter how hissy. A ear clipped barn gremlin might become your new Lifestyle Coach.
Cats are curious, and if it takes days or years, just let THEM decide when to officially join the household. Even if it takes years.
This little hissy ball of furious fluff has made herself quite at home.
Thank you to WHS for doing due diligence when placing critters. I didn't dare to expect a pet, but beyond all expectations, i think i have one now.
