This is one of my favorite places to shop, and has the most amazing selection of crystals. Diane has always been very friendly, knowledgeable, and has gone out of her way to help me find exactly what I was looking for. She always remembers my name when I come in, and has even offered to special order something very specific I was looking for. I would highly recommend this business to anyone that is local to Vermont or visiting the Burlington area.

I’m so grateful to have such a lovely shop full of beautiful, quality crystals where I can go and explore. The woman who runs the front of the shop is always lovely, kind and knowledgeable. Shes happy to help you explore the cases and answer questions regarding the many varieties of crystals. I always looks forward to our next visit.

I have been a customer of Craig and Diane’s store for several years now, going back to when they were in their original space downtown. They have relocated by the waterfront to an amazing space with large windows, lots of light, and views of the water—that just makes the crystals and the store feel even more magical to me. I have visited many metaphysical shops and crystal shops over the years in different states, and I can unequivocally say that this is the best crystal shop I have ever visited. They have the largest selection of very unique pieces. I got most of my crystal singing bowl collection from them—both purchased by me and received as gifts. They even went out of their way to carry products—healing and clearing sprays, candles, etc.—from shamanic practitioners that I knew back when I lived in NJ. It is so convenient to just drive down the street and buy a bottle when I need it to support a local business instead of either having to buy multiple bottles to save on shipping or pay a high price for one bottle by ordering directly from the practitioners.Regarding the negative reviews about cameras and signs about being prosecuted, those same signs are in the crystal store at the University Mall and other stores I have visited in the past. That should not be news to anyone visiting a crystal store where there are many small objects that are of high monetary value. If this is an issue for you, don’t go, and the loyal customers will snap up all the amazing specimens.I do have a suggestion to Craig and Diane.: Classes! Crystal classes, reiki sessions, oracle reading/discussions, like-minded people meeting to talk about crystals (almost like a support group), crystal singing bowl mediations, etc. I have so many ideas. I have some certifications if you decide to go this route and could work with you on some of these things.

I have found THE most wonderful store in Burlington - the Crystal Cottage of Vermont! After a quiet greeting by the most gentle dog ever, I stood in awe at a collection of crystals and geodes, etc. unlike any I have ever seen, beautifully lit and displayed (jewelry too!) and I have been to several stores for crystals. The owners are both so kind, and they were very helpful not only by opening cases to let me get a better look at and hold various specimens, they never made me feel like I was taking too long to make a decision on what to get. The energy in the Crystal Cottage of Vermont is incredibly peaceful and healing, and I can see myself heading back time and again not only to shop for something beautiful, but to get grounded in order to counter so much of the negativity that crosses my path on a daily basis. It’s a “gem” of a store worth checking out if you’re into good energy and beauty from the Earth. I can’t wait to go back!

You guys rock. I can't believe I posted such a lame pun. Your store is beautiful. Your specimens (what's left after my dear bride ransacks your inventory) are breath taking. In addition Craig and Diane are two of the nicest people on the planet. I have never been charged a dime for the many occasions they've babysat my wife for three hours at a time.Your store is a rare gem and it is always with great anticipation that we make the 2+ hour drive to visit.

I love this shop. My wife and I have been coming here for years and we have never had a negative experience. Craig and Diane are very kind, friendly, and helpful people. They are patient, accommodating, and have the knowledge to help you find the perfect piece.I've been working with stones for over 8 years and their stones are among the highest quality that I've seen, at a price you can't beat online. I can't recommend them highly enough and they look forward to shopping here for years to come.

I drove a long way to visit this store and I was so excited to experience it. As soon as I walked in, the customer ahead of me was told they couldn’t carry their purse around the store. There are signs saying not to touch certain pieces. Someone was told they couldn’t be on the phone. And there’s a sign that says “don’t steal, we prosecute.” ? The array and display of crystals is breathtaking but the energy of the store is beyond uptight. I respect the need to monitor for theft but being treated like a child or a suspect when you walk in the door was an immediate turn off. I’ve been to many Crystal stores and I usually feel pure delight. Here I felt disappointed. Moreover reading the patronizing responses to the prior reviews is what motivated me to write about my honest experience. Yes, we should be good to one another. That includes letting others know of our experience so they can make an educated decision about whether they want to go out of their way to visit this establishment.

The lady who was running this store when I visited is the rudest, snobbiest, most unkind and obnoxious customer service person I’ve ever seen in action. She was rude to everyone who came in, particularly a little boy who was so excited to be there. She won’t let you hold your purse, it needs to be put w her. She won’t let you touch the merchandise, and you have to wait for her to flip over any rock you want the price of as you can’t touch and prices are on the bottom. Nasty, rude, shockingly horrible person. Stay far away from this store.PS I just read the store’s response to another poor review. What a self aggrandizing, pompous, discourteous response to a customer’s issue. That lack of empathy and kindness, and lack of concern for customers is exactly what I observed in the store.

One of the best crystal shops I’ve been to outside of Salem,Massachusetts! Peaceful energy while in the store, and great customer service. ☺️

My friend and I went there this past weekend. We both agreed that there was great energy in the store.. (reminds me of many crystal ships I visited in Sedona). Hard to find a shop close to this nice in New England with high quality stones and a nice attention to energy flow within the store itself. The owners were very helpful, and sincere in wanting to pair you up with the right crystal for you; and they truly want to give you a full range of high quality crystals with prices that are very fair. I wish they had a closer store to the NH coast!

The woman working here (I think she's the owner) is really prickly and unwelcoming. for a shop that that falls into the general category of holistic well being etc it's amazing how unfriendly the vibe is. I definitely won't be going back...edit:the business owner's response says it all. I guarantee they have absolutely no idea who I am. they're posting a standardized "it wasn't us, it was you" response to me and accusing me of being at fault for an interaction that we didn't actually have. if you want people to feel welcome, be more welcoming. pretty simple.

Genuinely some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Looking through the comments I’m not alone, and the business owner Craig doubles down and attempts to start arguments while portraying himself as the wise fair one with moral high ground. He makes ageist assumptions, his stock his questionable and I doubt it’s been sustainably sourced, and the energy was negative the moment I stepped in, where every tiny step I made was under scrutiny. Before Craig attempts to use some of his ploys that I see in the responses to reviews, where he acts like his treatment would be perfectly okay like in airports, sorry but I sign onto the security checks in situations like that because it is for the safety of myself and others. Sorry but I think you’re being a bit high and mighty about the so called worth of your stock if you think it’s equal to the safety of human lives. Overall, I am a strong believer in karma. I do not appreciate the treatment I and others have received in this store and wish to warn others. I will most definitely encourage the people in my Wicca and Crystal community to avoid this store at all costs if they too ever visit Burlington.Go ahead Craig, give me a one star review, act like I didn’t want to give constructive criticism, but I’ll know and the universe knows that you’re just a bully who doesn’t know how to take accountability, and that’s okay.

Honestly, for a Crystal shop that is supposed to support good vibes and promote healing, I have never felt more uncomfortable and worse vibes. Upon entering the door, my entire party had to leave all bags at the door, which is understandable as I’m sure in a college town it is very common for shoplifting to be a problem. However, the problem only came when I noticed that lots of crystals were dyed and or painted. Additionally, the woman behind the counter did not look away from anyone for a second, she then accused my friend of stealing and made him empty his pockets saying “can you empty your right pocket, I saw you fiddling with something in your pocket.” Upon seeing that it was simply his wallet and he was indeed not shoplifting, she simply walked away. No apology was given for accusing an innocent person of a crime he did not commit. There are posters all over the wall reminding you that you are indeed being recorded and you constantly feel the presence of an over seer preemptively making assumption of someone’s character, especially based upon age. I did notice a couple of older age, approximately mid 30s, wasn’t asked to place both of their open non-zippable bags on the counter. Additionally, there are toxic crystals, like milled and rounded bumblebee Jasper out in the open. Bad vibes all around.Lmao. Imagine reviewing your customers. Maybe you should reflect on yourself and determine what needs to be shifted in your business motto. Being judge jury and executioner isn’t a good look.

Hi owners,Don't accuse my friends of stealing, not apologize, and then accuse my other friend of lying when writing this review. I won't engage in an in person conversation with you because you seem intent on not seeing a perspective that isn't yours, as is apparent in all of your responses to negative reviewOh to be old <3
