Amazing few nights at The Village Inn! Excellent customer service and communication from booking to checkout - ran into both owners on site and they genuinely care about their guest's experience. Everything you need to enjoy the Northeast Kingdom and Kingdom Trails - easily accessible to trails and local restaurants. Will absolutely be back!

The best place to stay! The inn has so much character. Rooms were clean and everything I needed they had available. The property is gorgeous. Extremely kind people that run it. I can’t wait to come back!

Very well located, we felt like we were in a chalet. Clean and spacious room, kitchen available, room to share with books, games, television...
Very pleasant jacuzzi area outside, close to the barbecue.
There is also a chill area by the river.
The location is ideal, and we were made very welcome.
We will come back without hesitation.

We are staying at the Inn now. Great location for seasonal skiing, hiking and mountain biking.
Hosts are lovely. We booked the suite. Is super spacious with large kitchen. They also have a communal kitchen and laundry.
Nearby activities: Skiing hiking mountain biking
Food and drinks: Several casual eateries, great coffee and fun pubs breakfast places in walking distance along with 1-2 fancier spots. Outdoor eating na food trucks in summer. A little challenging off season if you are vegan but can be done.

Great place and friendly staff. Everything in the place is updated in the rooms. Bed was really comfortable. Plus, you have convenience stores and pubs right next store or right down the road. Would totally recommend it to anyone - whether you are accessing Kingdom Trails or just need a place to stay in the area.

Great spot. Some of the rooms are much better situated and decorated than others--and priced accordingly. Not right on a bike trail but close it and there's a pizza shop and bar next door.

Just perfect!
Rooms: In my room I had 2 double beds and two single beds, the double beds perfect but the two single beds the mattresses make too much noise and are not comfortable.

We stayed at the Village Inn for 3 nights in early August. Absolutely fantastic experience. Cozy rooms, great location in town, loved the Sloshie Shed bar next door, the creek and fire pit at the back of the property. We were there for a big friend reunion, and it couldn't have been better. The staff at Village Inn went above and beyond to make sure that our group had an incredible stay. Thank you! We definitely hope to be back!

12 law school friends and partners rented out the Inn for four nights for an informal 10 year reunion and had the best time. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with a great modern farmhouse vibe. The owners have put a lot of work into the Inn, so every time we visit (getting towards triple digits) there is some new renovation or update. The grounds are stunning and we were content spending a lot of time at the property. The location also can’t be beat - right off the trails, walking distance to town with food, rentals, etc. We love it every time we visit!

I have known the Village Inn in East Burke VT for 25 years now - it used to be the GEM of the Kingdoms - we went there in summers and falls and winters and springs! - it used to be owned by a great Vermonter family - I believe her name was Lorraine - what a graceful Lady! what a beautifully truly Vermont experience did she and her husband (I do not remember her husband's name right now) had offered to all of us over the years! it was truly VERMONT! - but they eventually had to sell! they got old and sold - and so, unfortunately, the greedy, and the ignorant bought it! - prices skyrocketed for same accommodations less the scrumptious breakfast, and you will need to reserve for TWO nights minimum now!That GEM is gone! Vermont experience is now New Jersey experience - run of the mill!
