Butchered a pig for us and it was almost a month to get the smoked portion back. Multiple calls either not answer or returned. Hams were all cut into steaks even though whole hams were requested. Accurate pricing was not forthcoming

They have my smoked meat from my pig and they won't answer the phone for days now two make arrangements to pick it up.

Firstly I observed there is no official parking for the shop. When I went in, the meat case had only a few meat selections. The food prep area looked very well maintained, but there was only one worker serving five different orders at once. I stood waiting 15 mins before I was helped. At that point I simply ordered some ground beef. I asked what farm the meat was from and was saddened to learn it was just western beef...same stuff I could have ordered from Price Chopper five mins from my apt. I have no doubt this is a great resource for the locals, but that's all.

We drove here from Montgomery as COVID is making our meals extremely challenging to get on vacation. Luckily they were open and able to get food from here! Sandwich and salad were very good and we will likely be back again tomorrow!

Drove from Montgomery to this shop on recommendation of a local who loves their breakfast sandwiches. Friendly, helpful staff. Basic breakfast sandwiches with egg, choice of cheese (we got cheddar) and meat (we got bacon) on an English muffin- exactly what you'd expect that to taste like. But what was stellar was the Reuben we got to-go for later lunch- YUM! Huge amount of meat, thick melty cheese, and perfect amount of thousand island dressing and sauerkraut. Highly recommend as a lunch stop!
