I grew up across the road! I remember when Tim owned this and it's now Josh. Super knowledgeable about any homestead needs. Always open - even during major storms. The employees are always there to assist with any needs of the customer. Appreciate the small town, family owned business!

Bates delivered 500 bags of shavings to me in august. I was happy with the service and price. When I called for another 500, I was told Josh would call me back the following day. It took over a week and multiple calls to get Josh on the phone to be told that they wouldn’t stack the shavings in my barn nor would they wait around for me to empty and stack the load. This is disappointing service but the tone in which I was told this was rude and unprofessional. Disappointing communication and service!

Bates has been in the community for a LONG time and has had the best consistent quality and service all the years I have gone there. I have a small farm and they have always been very attentive to anything I might need. A very friendly and helpful staff!
