Can't believe I haven't reviewed this place sooner! Unbelievable, I've never received a bad item from this place (bought a ton of stuff) . Everytime I come here the staff is extremely knowledgeable, clean and offering suggestions as well as great customer service. Whenever I'm in Vermont I drive an hour round trip just make sure I make it here at least once a visit. Keep it going, love you guys!

The Vermont Butcher Shop is top notch. We couldn’t be happier to have moved up to the area and stumble upon this place. Great quality and selection. The guys working the counter know their stuff and are passionate about what they do.

Extremely helpful in discussing options on cuts and quality of prime rib. I purchased a 10.6 lb bone in prime grade. It was very expensive. I slow cooked it at 225 degrees. There were 9 guys and not one ounce of leftover. General consensus, the best prime rib any of us had ever had. Super helpful and friendly place. I will make the 25 minute drive for this level of quality and service.

Over 15 years of getting meats from the supermarket, Whole Foods, etc, this place has the best cuts. My prosciutto was perfectly cut and perfectly wrapped too. Shout out to the butcher Vinny. He was friendly, helpful and fast. If you need some darn good meats, skip the market & go here.

shady place, dont do business with them. sold them thanksgiving turkeys and 10 months later have not received payment. Tony the owner dodges all our emails and calls.

I'm pretty sure, these guys could probably name the animal your cut of meat came from. I ordered a 2 lb slab of pork belly for Siu Yuk (Cantonese crispy pork belly) for stupid bowl Sunday. It came out amazing. the image on the left did not dry enough (Italian porchetta seasoning), did not crisp well, on the right classic Cantonese with five spice powder & I served it with ginger, scallion sauce - perfect, crisp, melt in your mouth...gone

So happy this place is in business! My mother lives nearby and is always able to get whatever she wants from Isaac. Went in yesterday to see what they had and there were German sausages! Vinny/Vinnie was great! Now we are on the lookout for ham bones for our pea soup and I am sure they will help us out!Nice shop and great people to help you find what you want!
