We ordered a bike from Specialized because they were having a 25% off sale and we weren't in town. This shop is a specialized dealer, so it was delivered here for assembly. The shop owner proceeded to berate my wife about how we stole his mark up because we bought it online. He then wouldn't honor the free assembly from specialized that came with the purchase. My wife had planned to buy me a helmet and pedals which she didn't. What he didn't realize is that we didn't buy the bike from the shop because that was all I heard about him. I am all for supporting local businesses, but I will not support this type of person. The assembly techs were great and friendly, but my family will not be doing business with them again.

We offered to put a down payment to reserve a bike at their recent bike swap, but they assured us it would be held for us even without down payment. Coming back 2 hours later we found they had sold it to someone else. We were treated very rudely by the staff throughout, with one particular staff member coming across as arrogant and unfriendly.

This bike shop is fabulous. I made the mistake of buying my first bike on the internet probably made in China. They were happy to service it and didn't question my decision at all. But when it came time to buy a new bike, they were very helpful in helping me select the perfect bike for me. I did continue to look on the internet, but the support here was just incredible. And now one year later this bike is probably one of the best investments I've ever made.
Truly thankful to have them in town. Truly thankful for their service levels and their attention when I have a problem. They go above and beyond.
If you want satisfaction, I'm 100% sure this is the place you want to go.

Nice to have a basic shop in town; mechanic was helpful and expedient. Shop owner (guessing) was aloof, almost unfriendly. Be happy in your work! Not inclined to ever return based upon three visits. Did return and had much better experience, must have been a not-so-good day when I was in on previous visits. Great work done on old Trek road bike.

Great experience with Battenkill bicycles today. Barrack helped set us up with two rental hybrid bikes and an e-bike for the family. He also and made an *amazing* recommendation for a ride to Pawlet that was strikingly beautiful. Highly recommend.

Barrack was so nice, taking time to figure out what needed to be ordered for my bike while I waited. When the part was in, Noah was extremely helpful and fixing my bike while I waited was so nice and convenient. I was so impressed with Noah working alone on a Sunday afternoon, 5 customers needing help at once and he was calm, polite and efficient!

Staff is always super friendly and accommodating. I’ve been here a few times since moving to the area and both times they were able to take care of me quickly and for a great price!
