I went to the store, which is located on Ballsford road in Manay,VA. It was a ladies day out. The managers extremely rude, she refused to give her name, she refused, refused to let staff assist us with putting a heavy piece of furniture inside the vehicle. This woman threatened to call the police on me after we spent well over $300.00 in the store. All we asked for was hell. This is Terrible service.

I remember as a child how the Salvation Army helped veterans with job training and helped those with housing insecurities find shelter. As a social worker, I have had great experiences reaching out to the Salvation Army for assistance with my clients. The people that work and volunteer for this organization really care!

National HQ woke up all of their neighbors this morning at 7:40 am with leaf blowers. They’re surrounded by residential buildings.

Your Manassas store location has MULTIPLE complaints about rude management, namely "Gigi" & Andy. Their bold rudeness is astounding. You sit idle while complaints rack up. Is it THAT difficult to hire friendly, competent managers at a Christian organization? Gigi ESPECIALLY is awful. She cuts off customers mid-sentence. She obviously HATES her job. She's a STAIN on your organization. I won't even get started on the price gouging on DONATED items. Goodwill is now the place to be.

Unfortunately, the employee was quite aggressive and insisted we put on a mask. I explained that I was a retired medical professional and that was unnecessary. This woman was rude, exceptionally poor customer service and a little tyrannical attitude. This could very well be a legal issue given the number of people she has insulted and been aggressive towards.

I tried to contact National hdq but there is no email address. I called and left a message which under the circumstances I doubt will ever be heard by the few sane people left at the organization. I will not contribute to Salvation Army due to the insistence I apologize for being white. Oh. Now they will refuse my generous donation(s) because my check doesn't say I'm white with an apology attached?! This is so outlandish on the face of it i cannot believe it. The woke crowd struck again. Where are these arbitrary definitions from these likely "well-educated" coming from of who is white. I am Jewish. Am I still white? My family are immigrants! We could be even considered Hispanic. Am I still white?

Called about donating a dresser, unfortunately the dresser is very large and heavy and I am unable to remove it from the upstairs by myself. I was told to send pictures of the dresser and stairs and email it for review. I told them I would wait outside and I'm fully vaccinated. They said the turn in the stairs looked tight and they were concerned they couldn't "remove it safely", I told them it was brought in safely. It's not like it was hoisted in through a window on a crane. They still wanted to send someone out to preview it out but this wouldn't be for another week. The policy for entering the home has made the act of donation a bigger time waste and hassle than it's worth. This policy is an excuse to do less work and not have to lift and carry things.

When you start hammering me for being born white and TELL me to apologize for God's creating me so, that's the end. I just donated $250 to Salvation Army and if I could retrieve it, I would. I've always appreciated the Salvation Army work, but I no longer do. You have no idea who I am or my relationship to or my feelings about people who are not white and to insinuate that you do makes me livid. I'm a very generous kind person and I do not need the likes of you to tell me what I need to do or who I am. You have lost a contributor forever! Examine yourselves before you think it's your right to examine others about whom you know nothing! So narcissistic and ridiculous! Good-bye!

Another WOKE, RACIST organization who wants folks to apologize for their skin color. Do not donate anything to these sick, politically correct racists.

I called the National Headquarters at the Salvation Army just now. After being interrogated as to what I wanted, I was told to call my local corps office. Our corps office is run my very effective officers, but the issue I had could only be handled nationally.
