Terrible customer service at the Old Town Alexandria Walgreens. They don't tell you you can't return discounted items at the time of purchase and very rude about it. More training might help.

Clerks here are slow and stupid. This usually isn't the case for Walgreens which tends to have a "little" better staffing then CVS or Rite Aid, but this one is an exception. I don't blame the clerks. It's obviously management not training/doing their jobs properly.

Actually had a pretty good experience here today. I'd been to another Walgreens earlier and they were out of flu shots til next week sometime and I definitely didn't want to wait (it's flu season after all!) So I have this location a call and they assured me that they actually had flu shots on hand. I arrived shortly after my call, found street meter parking around the block, and only had to wait in line for a few minutes. The pharmacist was ready and gave me the flu shot over the counter (literally leaned over to give it to me... First location I've ever seen where there isn't a private room. But it wasn't a big deal actually.) I'd definitely come back. It's conveniently located in the hustle and bustle of Old town.

Omar the manager and Juan the cashier where so rude and bad educated, I've been going to that same store for years to buy cigarettes. This time I was accompanied by one of my co-workers. and won't sell me cigarettes, asking for both of us ids, the excuse was that he seemed underaged. I have been there with my kids and never had any issues. This manager he the worse attitude I have ever seen and he wanted to get into a fight with me. This has been my worst experience in a Walgreens store. I would never return to that location and I will tell all my neighbors about that really bad experience.
