If you want automotive work done correctly, Traynor Automotive is the place to take your vehicle. For about 2+ years now I’ve experienced nothing but great professional, quality service and work on my ‘06 Chevy Duramax 3500 — emphasis on “quality”. They don’t try to sell you what you don’t need, but, if warranted, do recommend common sense repairs or service or recommend good quality replacement parts, if parts are needed, rather than lower quality rebuilds and so on. Andrew and his staff are about honesty, integrity, thoroughness, and quality work, which they stand behind. Give them a try. You won’t regret it.

This is a great place for all you car repair needs. They treat you like family, along with fair and reasonable pricing. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about what they tell you.

Recently took my vehicle here for a weird sound. As someone who knows next to nothing about vehicles and has a spouse who usually handles it, it's stressful to not know the process or have all the answers. They walked me through all of it and were transparent about the process, what they thought the issue was and how much it would cost to fix it. Every staff member I talked to was kind and patient even though my lack of knowledge probably slowed progress down. The charges were clearly laid out in my bill and the cost was more than fair. The whole process was quick and easy and you can tell that they care about doing a good job. I cannot recommend them enough!

I came and spoke to Andrew for my first appointment set up in my first State Inspection. Andrew was genuine and friendly. Relocated out of California, he took his time explaining to me what were the procedures to get it done eventhough he was busy helping other customer on the phone and another customer behind me waiting for his assistance. Today 09/11/24 at late afternoon, I was received by a friendly lady at the window and she helped me to get the State Inspection done in courtesy and professional manner. My experience was quick, easy, and friendly. Thank you Traynor Automative, now I know where to go for my vehicle needs.

Highly recommend. I dropped my vehicle off on Sunday night & by Wednesday morning I had it back. Mr. Traynor was very communicative, professional, knowledgeable, and honest. The front desk woman was very friendly as were the mechanics who gave a friendly wave as I was leaving. My car was fixed and drives better than ever! I highly recommend this business!

Astute professionals that won’t up-charge and are very transparent on what they know and don’t know. Prices are very reasonable and customer service and expertise are TOP tier. Andrew worked around my busy schedule to allow me to pick up my car at a convenient hour around my schedule and they were very good at keeping me informed of the status of my car daily. Highly recommend them for any foreign or high end cars. They did amazing work on my Mercedes Benz.

I had my VW Passat at Traynor twice in the past, for relatively important work. Once for front suspension work and the other for AC replacement. These guys are very, very honest and upfront. There is no fast talk nor funny business. Give these guys a try. They are my shop of choice for all automotive repairs. Great work, honest people and fair prices.

I’m very particular about my vehicles, and, who works on them. Moved to Chesapeake a few years ago and a huge concern for me was finding a trustworthy shop. I have multiple shops close by (including Traynor) and tried out a couple of them for small things. None made me comfortable. It was back during the pandemic when I ran into big problems getting state inspections. One place kept one of my cars for 4 days!! That’s when I tried Traynor. While they weren’t able to take me as a walk in, they had me come in 2 days later and I was in and out in about an hour.
While waiting, I had the opportunity to meet and talk to Andrew. I found him to be extremely knowledgeable and also found out that there was a technician there that had great knowledge and experience with the Ford 7.3L diesel trucks, of which I own one of.
As a team, they have always listened to what I want done, they lay out a plan and then explain everything they are proposing. And when I pick up the vehicle, they always go over what they did.
I’m so glad I gave them a try as they are my exclusive shop for all 3 vehicles now.
