I don't know if this location is under staffed or is it just bad management. When I arrived at the location I met two of the most nonchalant employees I have seen in a business for a while. I dropped of the car for tire replacement and they told me to come back around 5pm to pick it up.I get there by 5pm to pick up the car, but they haven't touched the car at all. At that point I don't wanted to waste more time, so I got the keys back and left without replacing the tires.

I’ve been going there for a while and I’ve had really good experiences. However, my last oil change they didn’t tighten something all the way and the oil spilled out all over my driveway. You can imagine how frustrating it is to look at that every day. I brought it back and he fixed it, so I chalked it up to a one time mistake. Today I brought my car in again and after two hours they told me they still hadn’t even touched my car and it would be at least two more hours. I have very minimal flexibility in my schedule and so this was severely disappointing and frustrating. I had to leave with no oil change and I have a long drive coming this weekend and no time to go elsewhere.

I am the Manager at the NTA of Gallows Exxon. I brought a car here on Feb. 15 to get an alignment done. Given an estimate of $97.62, I left the car there and returned to work. When I returned to pick up the car, I was told that everything was good when both of the front cambers were unaligned. I pointed this out to the Salesperson and Technician, but they were unaware of the function of a camber and insisted that they had done what was recommended from the dealer. Having been a Technician myself, I knew I was being lied to and that the employees were not qualified to do this job. Disappointed and frustrated, I left the shop with my car in a worst state than I had brought it in. The next weekend, my son took the car to the dealer to fix the issue, and the dealer correctly completed the alignment, thus proving that I was deceived by this Tires Plus location. I used to be a regular customer here and wanted to open a business account, but I will certainly not be returning and would not recommend this location to anyone else after this experience.

Went in for brake maintenance. I first called to schedule an appointment for brake pads and rotors. Upon arriving at 7am for my appointment the guy at the service desk recommended an complimentary inspection to determine my needs since I've had horrible experiences with Malloy Ford of Alexandria regarding my safety for basic oil change, tire rotation and wiper replacement 3 consecutive times. Upon my repairs I needed calipers and was notified. Then upon the inspection they noticed my antifreeze was very low and recommended a flush and fill. I walked away satisfied that they took care of my safety and made added recommendations and quoted for rear shocks, wheel alignment, and tires. Tiresplus gets a "10" I couldn't be happier with the knowledge and the service for my 2017 Ford Escape.

I cannot thank this Tire Plus location enough. They took me in on a short notice and did exactly as I asked. They took my tire apart to find loose sound deadening foam which caused an immense imbalance in the tire. They rebalanced it and the car drives like a dream.They fixed what another deceitful shop said they did, but didn’t do.Thank you!!!

I recently had one of my tires replaced under road hazard insurance. I purchased the tires at firestone few years ago. Since my vehicle has all-wheel drive the salesperson explained the benefits of having the road hazard warranty. One such is that if I ever had a flat tire that is not repairable, I would probably need to replace all four tires. This is in fact the scenario I find myself in. Unfortunately for me Richard at the Tires Plus Fairfax Store does not see it this way. He did offer 10% off the other three tires. However, this falls far short from what I was expecting when I came into his store. I thought Firestone and Tires plus had similar policies and procedures; I must have been mistaken. My job is very close to the Tires Plus Fairfax location so it's convenient for me to drop off my vehicles whenever they need service. I have other cars and warranties but if I can't be taken care of on some as straight forward as a tire, I might have to go elsewhere.

Scheduling and bringing the vehicle in were great. The location needs another person working the front desk. When multiple customers are present, 1 person has a hard time getting appointments in and the customers out on both the checkin and checkout process. Also when you call, the answer, say hold, and put you on hold. Once I picked up my car, I happened to check the TPS to see what the pressures were. I was shocked to see between 66 and 70psi in all 4 tires. I tried to call the center and was placed on hold. Due to an appointment I had, I hung up and called back once I got done. Again put immediately on hold. I explained the TPS readings, thinking it was simply a calibration issue. But when I pulled in, it was very apparent that the tires had over double the amount of air in them. It was apparent that this has happened before at this location. I overheard the staff saying some thing about the gauge malfunction again. It its a known issue, fix the gauge or check manually.

Just avoid this place if possible!!! I got an appointment at 12pm for wheel alignment (which usually takes about an hour), and spent there almost 5 hours, Because of one car before me which actually the lady was trying to pick up from 9am and got it only at 3pm. The day is wasted as well as the money because unfortunately the alignment was not done well. Service is poor and disrespectful. They don’t look a knowledgeable at all. Don’t make same mistake choosing them!! Go to NTB instead , they do a great service! God bless you.

Got there 9:05 am 5 minutes after opening on a Sunday 1 person ahead of me. Went for 4 new tires & brakes also Wanted tire sensors checked. Tire sensor gadget didn’t work, didn’t get out of there until 1:55 pm. All customers waited for vehicles outside because even though it was like 68 degrees outside it felt like 45 degrees on the inside because air conditioner was on blast. No coffee like most places. Would not recommend taking your vehicle there.

George, Jorge and other techs helped us out when we were on a real bind passing through from PA. They solved a complicated brake problem and got us back on our way.
