The onboarding was easy and quick. The daily pick-up is on-time and when delayed, clearly communicated via the app. I pay for a service that is reliable, I am very happy with WM.

I had a very poor experience with WM. I chose them for a dumpster rental since they are a well-known (and I thought reputable) name in the business. There were many issues during the process. First, they delivered the dumpster two days later than I had scheduled. I had taken the week off of work for my project, so losing two whole days was a significant impact. It became apparent that my project would exceed the dumpster capacity, so I arranged for them to swap in a new container. The swap eventually occurred four days later than it was supposed to (arranged for a Monday, came on a Thursday) with final pickup Friday. This gave me only one day with the second dumpster. They charged full price and refused any discount, even though it was the company’s fault that I now only had one day to do the work. I had to make several calls to customer service throughout - some were good, some were very negative. This was overall a very unfortunate and frustrating experience. I will not work with WM again, nor can I recommend them to anyone else.

Drove Up to Facility on 4/19/24 to dump shingles. Upon arrival I asked the scale attendant to confirm pricing. She proceeded to point towards a pricing sheet on window. $122.79 Ton (3) Ton Minimum. Environmental fee $26 and some waste water fee 6.5%. I was charged a total of $584.72. This sum is higher as they charged me $149 per ton instead than the posted price. I ask the scale attendant and she said there was nothing that could be done.- Their invoice 2.84 Ton = 447.00- Waste Water Managemegt Fee All tho I dumped shingles $64.81- Energy Charge $72.91Consumer complaint will be placed with Fairfax county because this is theft.

Customer Service is very disappointing. Don;t return phone calls and always changing staff and no follow ups.

We pay monthly for a lock on our recycling container because people were dumping trash in it and we were hit with high fees. However, the driver regularly leaves the locking bar in the unlocked position. I have communicated with Waste Management about this many, many times. There seems to be no way to resolve it, although when I am hit with another recycling contamination charge I will refer them to my previous complaints.

Google review needs minus stars. I rate Waste Management -5. Since taking over (buying) the previous hauler. The Service is the worse I have ever seen it. They do not honor the terms of the contract and since taking over, almost a year ago, we still have not even seen our account rep, better yet, they have not shown the respect to even introduce themselves. Their only introduction was their first bill, that we had to call and dispute because they charged us too much. I am not one for reviews, but enough is enough.

Beware!! If I could give them sero stars I would. I have never posted a bad review in my life, less to another business but this company is just so bad I had to.
First of all they charge for inactivity fees and I have never seen that in 20 years in business and that is just bad business practices, especially because they bought smaller companies and never told us clients of the changes that come with the new management. Their accounting is so messed up that is impossible to know what you are paying for and what and why they are charging you. Finally they take the can removal ransom in order to get payments. Unacceptable and shady.
Customer service representative nasty and unreasonable. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE you will receive bitter surprises and you will find you due balances you had no idea of! BEWARE!!!
