This HMart is smaller than the Fairfax one. Sells the similar thing like all HMart. Overall I will say this store interior looks a lot tighter space.

Why is H Mart flagrantly violating Fairfax county's disposable plastic bag tax? Every day, thousands of single use plastic bags are distributed without charge to customers. This is in violation of Virginia state law and Fairfax county regulations. Those plastic bags end up in the trash, in our streams and roadways. The whole purpose of the disposable plastic bag tax is to reduce the use of single use plastic bags that pollute our county. H Mart, do your part. It is the law.

This hmart location was very clean and put together but also smaller. I had one big issue which was that the building was freezing, so many people were saying it was too cold inside the store. Most of the staff was nice, the cashier we had seemed annoyed to be working but I can understand that feeling. It was a very hot day outside but not the hottest this year.

I highly advise against bringing your children to this shady place or visiting here if you are a woman for the safety reason. After I paid my grocery and ready to go to my car, an old employee who seems a manager of the store or something like that complaint to me that don't bring a dog to the store. The problem was not only I didn't bring any dog or cat as well as I don't have any pet whatsoever. In fact, there was no animal around me at the time!I am still not sure what kind of drug this old employee have in his system or he has an alzheimer or some kind of mental problem.(Maybe he saw a ghost of dog. in such a case, I think he is in a wrong occupation in first place.)However, I know that usually those kind of delusional old man causing violent crime against children or woman since this kind of lunatic doesn't have a common sense or recognition of distinction between right or wrong.Considering facts that it is better to be safe than sorry, I highly recommend not to visit if you are a woman or don't bring any children to this questionable place for your own safety.

The korean dishes are worth the price! The food is delicious, the serving size is just right and the people are so nice. They close between 4-5pm for evening prep, but you can just roam around to get groceries and time goes by fast! There is ample seating (although it can get packed during lunch).

I'm not gonna tell you my fav food brand there because why would I want more competition? Have to say their ramen section is ?the spicy nongshim. You'll pay here for 30 of them what Amazon wants to charge for 1. I was only gonna give it 4 stars but their home goods products like Korean shampoos, Latino shampoos, wash bins, cute stuff etc makes it a 5.It's not FULL access to Asian products like the stores in Vancouver be but you might have noticed we ain't no where near the West Coast and are that much more remote from Asia. H-Mart's selection is good. It's where I directed my Chinese classmates to during their year abroad here and they regularly took cab rides just for access to that sweet sweet H-Mart.

Nice international supermarket with stuff you won’t find in a typical grocery store but the prices are mad expensive. The cashiers weren’t too good and couldn’t get the total amount right. I would suggest going to the H Mart in Fairfax. The one in Fairfax is a million times better than this one.

I was visiting the area and stopped by the 3 hmarts: Burke, Church and Annandale. I’d rate them in that order, best to worst. They all sucked compared to hmarts I’ve been to in NJ and TX but if these are your only options then you deal with it. It was sad to see they were all so difficult in what was carried and inconsistent. I always thought hmart was a premium grocer but these stores left a lot to be desired.

All I ever get are the Aloe Plant leaves/arms and the Ramen noodles; - but they are very good.Great service. If you want unusual produce or sushi or many seafood options, H-Marts has them.

Here to review the food court! Popped in here for a quick bite - ordered jajangmyeon for $7 and the value for the price is awesome. Flavors are good and that one order lasted me for 3-4 meals. (Maybe I have a small appetite but it was still a hefty and filling portion!)

Be aware: The customer service woman just confirmed H Mart is doing dirty business!I went to shop there this morning, there is a On Sale sign right on top of the white nectarine, says $1.99 per lb. So I pick ~8lb of them. I went home and realized that they were charged for $4.99 per lb, so $25 extra. I returned to the store immediately, and the "C/S 1" at customer service said, "You didn't read the sign correctly, the $1.99 price is for weekend only, and TODAY IS TUESDAY ALREADY!" Assume what she said about sale expired is true, I then ask for return (those nectarine are small and not fresh enough for $4.99), and complain that store should remove the weekend sale sign to avoid misleading customers. Just as she said, today is Tuesday, already two days after the sale ended. The woman then said, the On sale sign is kept there intentionally because "All customers should read the entire sign and understand the sale is for Friday, Saturday and Sunday only. It is not the our (store's) fault to not remove the sign, but it is Customer's Own Fault for NOT Reading!!!"I am speechless about this arrogant customer service staff's reply, and she returned to backroom seating without any intention to remove the long expired On Sale sign at close by fruit section. So for busy customers and elderly who shop there, please take your time to read all fine prints on H Mart signs, otherwise you either loss your money or will waste your valuable time dealing with rude customer service staff. Absolutely awful experience!

Worst hmart location in the dmv. Oyster kimchi bucket literally only had two oysters. The contents of the bucket of kimchi was only enough to fill a small tupperware container. Usually can fill tupperware 3x with other hmart and lotte locations.Radish kimchi was so bland. No sour fermentation taste like kimchi should be.Bibim vegetable set with chojang was so sweet?Wth are they doing here.Only came here because it is by my office. Never making that mistake again and will continue to shop at Maryland lotte stores.
