“When Capitol Hill Animal Clinic closed, my dog's paperwork was transferred here. It's more pricey, but a very different user experience. Making an appointment easily via the phone, we wanted for one minute in the nice lobby before going back. The vet is friendly and knowledgeable. A wellness check and two shots later, we were checking out. The entire experience lasted under 30 minutes! There's easy street parking nearby!”

“I followed Dr Fanton here from her previous practice. She has watched over my senior dog for his last years and was always caring and understanding. She was never pushy about expensive tests, procedures, or medications and even gave me cheaper alternative options. Other vets felt like they saw my senior dog as a cash cow and would push for test after test draining my wallet. My dog Kirby lived a long life until 15 years old thanks to Dr Fanton. When I decide to get another dog, I will definitely take him/her to Kingsview with Dr Fanton.”

“We take our dog and cat to this vet and have always had positive experiences! The vets are friendly and explain things thoroughly when needed. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The vet techs seem to really care about the animals. Overall, they are also upfront about pricing and costs.
Our dog fights really hard when it's time for shots or a nail trim, but the staff here is patient and helpful when he is being a wild man. Special shout out to Mimi who was so kind and thoughtful when helping give our dog his shots and care. She definitely helped keep him as calm as possible to minimize stress.”
“This is a very nice facility. It is very clean and the staff are really respectful and understanding. They are old fashioned with their service and I just wanted to let them know it doesn’t go unnoticed. They are always really caring and gentle with Elliott and when he goes to the back there is no doubt in my mind that they are taking care of him properly. I have never heard him cry or be upset in the back and he loves the techs here! Even the relief vets they get are kind, caring, and knowledgeable. I have never had a bill that I thought was out of control and they are transparent with the prices.”

“Switched to CAC North from another vet in Fairfax and I wish we had started here from the start! I have two Italian greyhounds and have done an international health certificate here, and also been in for: routine vaccinations, anxiety medication management, parasite deworming, and GI issues. Luxor and Pharoah love to see Caitlin (tech) and DVM McCrory, but when we needed to get in asap for my newly adopted iggy who wasn’t holding down food, Julia (tech) and DVM Gottlieb were incredible! When I was struggling to get my adopted iggy’s previous vet records, the staff were able to get them on file for me. Prescriptions here are so easy to fill in office or on Chewy, and their online booking system is awesome. Italian greyhounds are weird, anxious little guys and the staff is always willing to bend over backwards to make them comfy. We are going to start seeing their vet behaviorist for some help with our reactive new little guy, and we know we will be in the best care! Receipts and post-visit instructions are always emailed and we usually always get phone calls after visits to see any add-on care is needed. This place is incredible!!”

Our dog Chiky only has one eye so we want to keep it in good shape! :) While treating a very stubborn corneal ulcer that took months to heal, Dr. Armour and her staff were never discouraged. They were always patient with our questions, very kind to Chiky, willing to try different options, and super responsive between appointments. With Dr. Armour’s steadfast help, Chiky’s ulcer finally healed and he’s doing great. Thank you Dr. Armour and team!”

“Falls Road Veterinary Hospital is EXTRAORDINARY! I do not live in Maryland. I spent several months in the area, and my elderly Shitzu needed vaccinations. They knew I lived in AZ and would not be a regular customer. Dr. Forbes was concerned about the size of my dog's nipples. I had asked my LA vet and my vet in Seattle about why they were enlarged. Dr. Forbes did not dismiss this condition. Dr. Forbes, who knew she probably wouldn't see my dog again, said this wasn't normal, and she wasn't satisfied not knowing what was happening. She wanted to research what this could be, and then she emailed me with three possible reasons. I am impressed. She truly cared about my dog. The front office team is pleasant, professional, and welcoming. I strongly recommend Falls Road Vet. I would give Dr. Forbes 10 stars if I could.”
“The staff and doctor were very friendly, attentive to my cat and addressed all my concerns plus provided additional care to get my pet up to date with her healthcare. The appointment process was easy to schedule online and there was minimal waiting to be roomed. Advice for follow up was explained in addition, handouts were also provided. I am always very happy with the care and experience at Ballston Animal Hospital. Have been taking my pets there for over 20 years.”
“The vet and the assistant were kind and knowledgeable, taking good care of my cat. Prices were higher than I expected(maybe it is average in this town), and they recommend all the expensive vaccines. But they explained my options and asked permission before doing anything.”
“I've been bringing my two (now three) Rhodesian Ridgebacks here for several years. Our first visit was pretty dramatic - one of my pups went headfirst through a sliding glass door, and we came into the waiting room near closing time with a large bloody dog with a lot of lacerations.
Dr. Jason Scott provided excellent care for our pup, and has been our go to vet for the past 5+ years for all three of our dogs (as well as the many Ridgebacks I foster). His advice is solid, pragmatic, and compassionate. Highly recommended.”
“Update: VCA Old Town was able to finally get VetSource to initiate the refund. While this was still a frustrating experience, I appreciate the manager both reaching out to me directly and ensuring this was finally resolved.
Use to be the best in town but lately it's been a disaster. Waited 20 minutes for an appointment the other day and had to remind them I was there before my dog could get seen. The relationship with vetsource is the worst I've ever experienced. Wrong delivery and no recourse though they and vetsource promised I would be refunded. Will not be returning except to dispute this vetsource nonsense.”

“The Fort Myer Vet Clinic is outstanding and we highly recommend for routine pet care. The team there has taken care of our two cats for the past four years. They are responsive, caring, and we truly appreciate them. Because they have limited appointments, it's important to make appointments in a timely manner and keep an emergency vet on hand in case of emergencies. However, they are the absolute best for regular care.”
