Just about the worst c/s I've ever seen. We went to move our two weeks old couch and couldn't so I started looking and fount the loveeseat had a bolt that was a 1/2inch too long so they sent a guy out and he came to our house to look at couch.well he saw the bolt and agreed the bolt was to long so he checked his truck nope no bolt there so we have a hardware store a mile from our house nope he put the bolt back in and left so we called Powells back it's been 5 days since we called and got no response

She was very attentive and helpful from my initial inquiry in March to the time I was ready to purchase in May. It was the ideal purchase for me, especially after she received word that the incoming furniture was expected to arrive sooner than anticipated! Perfectly aligning with my move-in date. I was fortunate to have Ms. Danielle Brandt as my sales associate. Her attentiveness and ability to visualize what I was looking for allowed her to guide me in my journey to find the exact chairs that matched my decor for my chess set. Her smile, her uplifting spirit, and her objective demeanor made my visit to Powell's Furniture inviting with a warmth like that of a long lost friend would give upon seeing one another after long period of time away since last seeing each other. It is my expressed desires that Ms. Brandt continue to provide this level of professionalism at Powell's Furniture for an enduring time. Liked that the salesperson left us alone while we looked at and discussed the lift chair recliners. She was very informative and helpful with all our questions. The entire process of picking out a chair and completing the purchase went extremely well!

Zero stars. Their communication is horrible. We purchased 2 separate pieces and were told “I’ll be giving you a call in 2 weeks to set up delivery.” 2 weeks come and go I call at the 3.5/4 week mark. One thing arrived but not the other….and they didn’t know when the other item was going to arrive. And because they deliver everything together, we were going to be left in the dark waiting and wondering when we could expect delivery because no one called us to update us. They agreed to deliver the first item, 2 more weeks go by I call them back and they have to then call the manufacturer to see when I could expect the second item. It takes another week (unacceptable should be a day or 2 during the business week) before I get called. I wanted a refund on the second item because of my experience so far. For the refund, Im told it’ll happen “today or tomorrow” it should show up…..exactly 1 week later I get the receipt for the refund. They do not initiate any phone calls, updates , or anything and what little they do communicate what they say is not accurate. I was the one having to initiate and calling this entire 2 plus month long process. Never again will we buy from Powell’s.

Was very pleased shopping at Powell's Furniture. They did guide me to where I should look for what I was after but they didn't follow me everywhere I went. They left my husband and I to try out different couches and take our time. Very easy going and pleasant to work with. The delivery drivers were terrific as well. Thanks to David for making this a pleasant experience.

The sales person was very nice and knowledgeable. The delivery guys were very nice and on time. They were a pleasure to talk to. The only bad thing about the whole experience was they nick the corner of our wall coming in. But the couch was big. I didn’t realize it to a couple of hours later. Would be a five star except for the nick. Overall we are happy with the purchase and customer service. Thank you.

Powell’s has a huge selection and a lot of variety. Their prices are great too. The GM was very helpful and attentive to the style we were looking for.

I love Powells Furniture. I was disappointed that it took almost 7 weeks to receive it. The salesman we ordered it from told us the day we ordered 4 weeks. He also said he’s seen it as early as two weeks since it comes from NC.I figured at most based on the information I got 4 weeks and I’d be sleeping on my new bed. I quickly ordered everything for a king size bed as we have only ever had Queen. Everything I ordered came within two weeks even the mattress. We got rid of old furniture in preparation of the new bedroom furniture. I wish the salesman had been honest and said 6 weeks and I would have been prepared to wait 6 weeks. Six weeks went by and I looked at my receipt and saw it said 4-6 weeks. Finally I saw it was probably never coming in 2/4 weeks. Next time I’ll know.

Buying our furniture was a smooth and pleasurable experience from start to finish. In the store, Ryan could not have been more friendly, helpful and patient while we made our choices. The furniture came in when promised and the delivery guys were friendly and respectful and very willing to place the furniture exactly where we wanted. We will definitely be doing business with Powell’s again. Highly recommend!
