“This is the best craft store I have EVER visited!! As an avid crafter it is a true dream to find a place that is helping to reduce, reuse, recycle the many odds and ends of supplies! Not only that but when you're knee deep into a new craft venture and need a very specific item, don't need packs of 10-20+ items, or are looking for inspiration The Scrappy Elephant is 100% the place to find what you need (and if you're like me, always room for some extras too ?). It's hard to describe how perfect a shop this is for all my making needs but most importantly it's the way The Scrappy Elephant has focused on the community that keeps me coming back time and time again. “We were just laying over on a train excursion and looking to kill some time. The Paramount was showing "Chariots of Fire" and we decided to go see the movie. The facility was great. It was restored to all its glory when it was built in the '20s.”

“It's a very nice interior, and lots of great, often nationally known bands come through, but ticket prices have gotten very high and the bar prices are ridiculous. And advance tickets are only available via TicketMaster with whom I personally won't do business, so in order to avoid that one must either buy tickets at the box office on the day of the show or in advance. It'd be cool if they used EventBrite or another alternative.”
“No entrance fee, great atmosphere, good music, grassy area for blankets/picnic, beer and drinks available within the pavilion, very diverse crowd, located at the end of Charlottesville Downtown Mall where plenty of food is available.”

If you’re looking for a quaint tasting room where you can get to know the staff and enjoy hearing about the wine then this place is for you. They also have some food options, not meals but snacks for tastings. We got the cheese and cracker option. You’ll love it here!”

“Stopped in for a quick coffee and breakfast on my way to a meeting. Was pleasantly surprised by the quality and pricing. Paid $4 for a latte and $6 for a fairly large breakfast sandwich. Honestly, it was delicious, the service was great, and it's quite lovely inside.”
“From signing our contract to the end of our rehearsal dinner and welcome party, The Space (we were working almost exclusively with Laura) was a dream to work with. I have an email chain of probably 50 emails back and forth with Laura as we figured our menus, layouts, décor, etc. She was so patient with us as we had so many questions during the planning process. They have a variety of menus you can built your dinner from (we chose a plated dinner), but they are able to really create anything you want even if it’s not on the menus. We requested a few different indian-style appetizers (paneer, samosa, etc.) which they absolutely delivered! All the food was amazing. Following the rehearsal dinner, we opened to a welcome party for all our wedding guests that were traveling into town for the weekend. We had desserts and an open bar available for our guests which they were able to seamlessly accommodate. The staff there was so attentive and continuously made sure we were happy throughout the event. They also have connections with someone who you can hire to decorate the awesome chalkboards they have behind the bar! They were the perfect venue for what we needed to kick off our wedding weekend!”

“We’ve been on a road trip and have stayed at multiple Hyatt Places. This was by far and away the best one. Very clean, accessible and front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Microwave in our room. Breakfast was the same as the other Hyatts but the presentation was better than the others we’ve been to. They even had pool noodles in the pool area for the kids which was a hit! Highly recommend if you’re passing through Charlottesville!
Rooms: Super clean.
Walkability: Can walk right across the street for food/drinks and some shopping. Not too far from Monticello.”

The experience we had in planning and hosting the event was unparalleled -- Level10 management staff were accessible and accommodating through the process. Not to mention the VIEWS! My, my... “Easy to get to and park, really close to grounds and the corner and a short trip to the downtown mall.The Inn was super accommodating for our engagement and were able to get me exactly the room I wanted and put my flowers in the room in advance. Easy to work with and a great price too with the Virginia resident discount.The room was very comfortable, bed super soft, ceiling fan and AC control in the room were nice bonuses. The soaker tub in the king suite was also unreal.”
“We were so happy that the Summer passes have returned again this year! As such, we frequent the alley most days/weeks. The customer service at this bowling alley is top-notch, especially Justine, who is incredibly friendly and attentive. The lanes are well-maintained, and the atmosphere was fun and inviting. The food and drink options were also great, with quick service and delicious choices. We will definitely be coming back soon!”

However, four stars because i took my baby boy to the tot zone/little jumper area (made for 46 inches and below) and he was knocked over 4xs by teenage boys in the netted area and hit with balls twice, with a worker standing there watching.”

“Glass House is unique, with indoor seating inside an all-season greenhouse! There are other indoor seating options, a patio, and an expansive lawn and lake area to enjoy their wine (and beer coming soon). I only tried the Pinot Gris, and I enjoyed it! Balanced and not sweet, a refreshing year round white. They also allow outside food.
FYI — cell service is VERY spotty on the way out to Free Union and at Glass House (they do have wifi). I would recommend downloading an offline map or being prepared just in case.”
