I've lived in Loudoun for some.time now and I've never been in the mercantile in Hamilton. I'd heard that the folks from King Street coffee are there now so I stopped in and was not disappointed. Coffee was excellent, service was super friendly and they were serving cow bell scones that were perfect. Will be my regular stop.

I have been a heavy drinker when it comes to this place. The coffee is fantastic and worth the wait if there is a line. Honestly if there is a line, I love just pursuing the wonderful food items and chocolates….whilst chatting it up with the wonderful staff. I love going to a place like this that is abundant with character, charm, and quality (and yes I’m referring to not only the coffee but the staff).

We love the Hamilton Mercentile so much that we named our small but strong family running club after the Merc. We stop by the Merc almost every weekend after our long runs for what we have found to be the best coffee and speciality drinks, not just in this area, but period. Our standard line when traveling is, “the coffee was good, but not Merc good”. We love perusing the carefully curated food, local soaps and candles, and more. The staff is one of our favorite reasons to visit- we adore “Ryan’s” the baristas. I tell everyone passing through Hamilton “ don’t sleep on the Merc as you pass through!”. Don’t you sleep on it either.

Looks like a throwback health food store, in an historical storefront, but it's updated. Good coffee/tea bar and other drinks, as well as produce, some frozen and refrigerated food, gifts, and natural personal care products.

What a wonderful gem tucked into a charming little Virginia town! The shop is filled with the usual health store items and overflowing with different, quality finds! And that coffee shop - oh goodness! Truly unique and tasty beverages! I had an oat milk steamer made with a hint of maple syrup and sage....the best taste ever!!! Hubby had an unusual mocha with so many interesting additives in perfect quantities... "best ever" he exclaimed! The store is friendly and fun! Definitely a destination point!

Being a homesick transplant from the southwest US, it was such a blessing to discover a crunchy store like this reminiscent of the kind you find in New Mexico. This was a lovely find! Coffee and tea is great and they have a little of everything.

Your staff was incredibly helpful to my wife who was phone shopping from another state for items for our daughter who was at Patrick Henry's teen camp. Meredith read ingredient labels and searched for just the right items to avoid extra additives that might trigger allergies. We so appreciate the exceptional service and kind helpfulness my wife experienced working with Hamilton Mercantile.
