I have been going here since they opened. Caitlyn and Madeline are Professionals and expert colorists. This review is coming from someone who has had everything from the Brazilian Blowouts to balayage to Ombre. I have gone from hair that goes past the top of my jeans to to chin length and back again. Little Mermaid Red to Brown with blonde highlights. What I am trying to say, is that I constantly change my hair. I have never been disappointed.
The prices are very reasonable, the shop is clean and inviting.
Try it. You will love it!

These ladies have made a loyal customer out of me as long as I'm here in VA. Not only does Caitlin (I hope I spelled that correctly) go above & beyond to make my visit awesome, but her work is 2nd to none. I'm 33 and have never had a better hair stylist than her. And the shop is aways clean and the atmosphere is so welcoming. Love love love Salon JoBella!!

The stylists here are great and will help you decide what you want and what is best for your style. Small local business with great prices for a salon. You will need to book your appointments well in advance but hey that’s a good thing! Glad to see their business thriving during this time. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to change up their style or even just get a trim.

Omg if I had pictures of before and after you would be lining up to see Caitlyn!!! My hair was a mixture of brown and red (was natural. I always have a darker auburn hair - Mom was a ginger and dad was Cherokee). I asked her to dye the top portion dark brown and ombre it into flaming red - no brown (never done something like that and for context my hair is waist long). It Looks Amazing!!!!!!!!!! Worth every penny. I've been going to her since pre-pandemic and she always does a great job and she's so sweet!

I’ve been seeing Kaitlyn since December 2022 and I’m usually very picky with hairstylist but she treats you like a friend and is super sweet they both are. They take the time to listen to your needs and connect with you, which is always something I personally look for in a hairstylist. And her skills and techniques are amazing and the quality of my haircut having great I recently just dyed my hair bleached and then I did three different colors and I thought it was gonna be like $600. It was half that price which is very rare to find for what I got. My usual haircut is a trim, thinning, and my undercut shaved. Along with washing and styling it comes out to $35 and I usually tip $10-20 because everywhere else charges you a base of 55 to 75 for what I get I’ve been to places that have charge me $80 when they were the only ones available to get me in within a week which it might’ve been an up charge because of that but usually it’s not. But salon JoBella. Is 10 out of 10 for me they always do a great job. The atmosphere is very nice it’s not too dramatic and it’s not to chill. But if you want a reasonably priced hairstylist highly recommend salon, Jo Bella they know what they’re doing. And I have super thick hair a lot of it too and finding people that know how to deal with my type of hair is extremely hard.

Madeline took time out of her busy day to fix my daughter's botched cut (from a chain salon, that's on me and I should have known better) and made it look so much better! I've been coming here for awhile and always been super happy, but Madeline's willingness to go the extra mile to help us out has ensured our loyalty forever. We won't go anywhere else again. Also... the bad cut at the chain salon cost almost as much as a GREAT cut at Salon JoBella! Lesson learned!

She took her time and was honest about what would look best for me, and she did the very best color job I could hope for!! I highly recommend this shop and will trust them fully with my hair from now on!!
