This apartment complex is completely awful, with all these fake 5 star reviews they get with their give aways. I’ve had countless problems with this place. First our dryer was broken. Then I open my closet door and the door almost falls down on top of me. Then the ceiling leaks from our upstairs neighbors dishwasher, then our dryer breaks again, our ac goes out for 2 weeks over the summer and they put in a temporary ac unit and don’t even seal it, dryer breaks again, now our sink got clogged due to a broken disposal, and the maintenance who was supposed to fix it, unclogged it, leaves it leaking and then goes into MY CABINET AND USES MY BOWLS to stop the water from leaking onto the floor why wouldn’t he bring a bucket? I wouldn’t stand to have these type of people working for me if I ran this complex. It’s completely awful and they half a$$ everything they try to fix like where do they find these maintenance guys? Can anyone get a job in maintenance without knowing squat? And the hot tub? Why hasn’t the hot tub worked since I moved in? Its been since 2023. Yall love to boast about it but it doesn’t work. And the WiFi? It’s so bad constantly going in and out, never a constant connection even with a 200$ WiFi router. Awful, worst complex in Harrisonburg, spend the extra 40$ to live somewhere else. Do not let all these fake 5 star reviews they get with their give aways convince you otherwise.

I’ve been living at The Harrison for a while now, and I absolutely love it! The location is super convenient, especially for students, with easy access to campus and local shops. The amenities, like the pool and gym, are well-maintained and a great bonus. My apartment is spacious, and any maintenance requests I’ve had were handled quickly. Plus, the community here is friendly and welcoming. If you’re looking for a comfortable and affordable place to live in Harrisonburg, I’d definitely recommend The Harrison!

Do not let your college student rent here. Kids are put in whatever apartment they find, could be first floor, could be by trash, etc & the lease they write goes against the Va tenant act & is illegal. They enter apartments whenever they want without notice & will fine for the smallest things- just as a money grab. The entire place needs to be shut down bc what they are doing is completely illegal. SERIOUSLY, do not allow your student at JMU to rent here! Pay more & go somewhere nicer! Apartments are old, moldy, cabinets broken- it’s a DUMP on top of everything else!

Living at the Harrison has been nothing short of fantastic! The location is unbeatable, with quick access to shops, restaurants, and public transit right at your doorstep. The apartment is not only spacious but also beautifully designed, with modern finishes and large windows that let in plenty of sunlight. The amenities, like the state-of-the-art gym and relaxing pool, have added so much convenience and enjoyment to my routine. What really sets the Harrison apart is the top-notch management team. They’re always quick to respond and genuinely care about the residents. The sense of community here is strong, making it easy to meet people and feel welcome. Overall, this has been the perfect place to call home!

Living at The Harrison has been such a great experience! The apartments are modern, spacious, and well-maintained, with a lot of thoughtful features that make it feel like home. One of my favorite things is the pool—it’s always clean, well-kept, and perfect for relaxing or hanging out with friends. The location is also unbeatable! It’s so close to campus, which makes getting to class super convenient. The management team is friendly and responsive, and they’re always quick to address any concerns. The Harrison has truly been a great place to live, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient apartment!

I have consistently experienced the best residential support services of my life at The Harrison, managed by CLS Living. The staff is friendly and helpful… Anytime I have submitted a maintenance request I have received a prompt response. Whether it was changing light bulbs, or servicing the plumbing and electricity, maintenance quickly and thoroughly ensured that I have had an optimal living environment. I intend to continue renting from The Harrison for the remainder of my years in Harrisonburg VA, and I strongly recommend their property to all of the incoming students, or business professionals looking for housing. In some ways, your property management company can make or break your living experience and with CLS Living, it’s all in the service. I couldn’t be happier!
