“A very cool & iconic Five Below opening in Mechanicsville, VA and I was pleasantly surprised. So many products at affordable prices is a blessing in this day and age. A great place to get a birthday gift for your family/friends and/or pick up some of your favorite staples (ibuprofen, headphones, cleaning supplies, etc.). With great customer service and so much diversity, Five Below is definitely a godsend the Mechanicsville area. Bravo, Five Below, bravo!!!”

“I love this store! I like to go and browse the aisles for specials. I will never go anywhere else if l’m looking for bedding. I have now purchased 3 throw blankets, because I always find the best ones there. Beautiful, oversized, super plush blankets and the selection is amazing. I also buy the dog’s treats from Gabe’s. The prices are well below what you pay elsewhere. You can buy everything at Gabe’s except fresh produce.”

“Love the name....it reminds me of a generic grocery store name in a B horror movie....it's weather faded sign and mildewed doors add to the atmosphere and the cherry on top is when I walk in it's dead silent and all I see is a 30 something male with glasses standing at the register with no expression on his face staring off into space if there would have been 90s elevator muzak it would have been perfect..As far as the prices go it's decent, think Aldis mixed with foodlion with a sprinkle of ollies...”

“One of the best customer service experiences I’ve had at any retailer thus far. The cashier who worked today around 1:00pm was very helpful to me during the clearance sale. She gave me tips and tricks to navigate the app as well as the coupons. I didn’t get her name but she needs a raise!! The store was very clean and well stocked unlike others that I visited today. She was the only one working and was still very helpful and nice. I will be returning to this location from now on! Great job!”

“I went to pick up a few things and I had a very pleasant experience in dollar general. What I really liked was when I couldn't find an item and asked the associate where the item was. She took the time to show me instead of telling me where it was. Sometimes it's hard to find an item especially when you leave your eye glasses at home by mistake. So it's excellent when you are shown instead of being pointed in the right direction.”

“I love this Dollar General. Everyone is pleasant and the store is always stocked. I usually spend 15 minutes or more just looking around. The prices are usually reasonable. I live near several but I will still come to Airport Drive.”
