Ordered engine in October 2023. Engine was advertised as having 64,000 miles. Once the motor was received, the mechanic and myself agreed that the engine looked like it had well over 64,000 miles. I called JDM City Virginia and was given a weird story about the motor being shipped with other engines and it was probably leakage from other engines (didn't make since because it wasn't any leakage on the engine. I was told that once I installed the engine, I would call JDM back and tell them how well it runs. It does run OK, but uses much more oil than I would expect from a 64,000 mile engine. I decided to check plugs after about 9 months, even though they are 105,000 miles plugs. That's when I noticed aftermarket plugs that needed replacing. This really convinced me that the motor had well over 64,000 miles (probably more than 164,000 miles. The engine I was replaced had 277,000 miles and ran well. But used excessive oil which is what I was trying to correct.
See the aftermarket plugs I replaced. Beware of the JDM engines!!!
