I bought all my appliances from them when I bought my house. I have been calling them once a month for a year trying to get them to get service work done. I haven't seen them yet. Very poor customer service..

Started out great but ended up being lied to by everyone I talked to except the lady that answers the phone. I try to buy local but business like this makes it impossible. Oh well you have to remember where its located Martinsville Va, the damndest place on earth!

We have always loved supporting local small businesses especially in communities where big business are forcing them to close their doors. However, customer service is lacking here as it took over a year to get a repair man out to fix our ice maker on a refrigerator that was only 3 years old when it stopped working. We were promised multiple times they would be out the following week to fix it and no one ever showed. They said it was because they couldn’t reach myself or my wife but we never had any missed calls from them. When they finally came out to fix it, over a year later, we were not told up front how much the repair on our ice maker would be and was charged $290. We don’t mind paying for something to be fixed but the cost was never communicated up front. When I called to express my disappointment, the gentlemen I spoke with began to raise his voice at me. I have always spoken very highly of Larry and Alley and have sent business their way when talking to people I know who are in need of appliances. This kind of “service” is disrespectful and unacceptable to the customers who they are supposed to be servicing. We purchased all of our major appliances for our new build from them but after this encounter, we will not ever purchase from them again and cannot in good conscience recommend them again.

Nice place to buy appliances until you need service and then they change completely. I always try to buy local from small businesses but I got burned on this one. I was told they don't make the appliances they just sell them also these appliances were 7 months old

The staff is friendly (especially Harry), helpful, and willing to work out payments on merchandise. As a plus they deliver and have technicians on hand to service any problems that may occur with appliances. The delivery were speedy and friendly, as a matter of fact they arrived at my residence before I did (well before the scheduled same day delivery time).

The first interaction was great. Alex was very accommodating to our young twins and sold us on our appliance choices. I understand the Covid pandemic has affected supply chains etc. but it doesn’t hinder communication. They stopped talking to us. They ignored us and subsequently haven’t followed through with a mistake in our order. Communication would have solved it all my angst. Would never recommend.

We ordered a refrigerator from this incredible local business. We've received nothing but top notch customer service during both the shopping and ordering process.Unfortunately, while waiting for our refrigerator to arrive, our old refrigerator stopped working on a Friday afternoon. I called Larry and Alley to ask if there was anything they could do. They sent a technician to determine whether the fridge could be repaired (the answer was no) and subsequently sold us a used refrigerator for a very low price to take care of us until the new one arrives.Their response (technician evaluation, installation of the fridge, and haul away of the old one) was impeccable. I would estimate that all of this was done in a 3 hour window!Larry and Alley's top notch customer service went above and beyond for us today! I highly recommend you give them an opportunity to earn your business. You won't be sorry!
